I ordered a large helmet at the recommendation of an associate and now that I have it I feel like it might be too small.
Wanted specific features in my new helmet, they knew exactly what I wanted and immediately ordered it in my size and sent to me. Perfect transaction.

Ordered an alpine stars jacket in store. Store help was excellent. Told me it would ship next day after order was completed. Waited three days for shipping confirmation. Order stayed in processing. Call customer service he told me will shipping that evening but didn't even take my order number so I don't know how he knew that. Waited 5 more days order still in processing. Call again, customer service told me that they don't know why it has not ship but will check. Received a email a couple of hours later saying that it was ready to be ship. 3 more day later I finally got my jacket. If there was a problem and it was not going to be shipped out in the 2 day guarantee then someone should have communicated that.
This salesman was very helpful and considerate. Will definitely return to this location!

I personally work at the Jacksonville location, but before I was just a customer. There have been a lot of changes and a huge change in staffing. Everyone there knows a lot about motorcycles and we always like to help those in need. We always encourage customers beginner or pro to ask any questions they have. Overall just a great place to be at to talk motorcycles and shop for gear and parts.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
