I read mixed reviews on these shoes, but went ahead and purchased since they were in my price range. I am very happy with them and glad I made the decision to buy them.
I ordered fasteners to repair a puig windscreen. Received a 10 pack. All 10 failed, these are rubber mounts with a brass threaded piece inside and a screw. When tightening the brass inserts pulled through the rubber rather than tighten and secure the windscreen
I have made 4 purchases so far, 3 in 2 different stores and 1 online. All have went well. I have had great service while in the Edina and Maple Wood store.
After having my 2000 vintage Kuryakin left-hand rear-view mirror with integrated turn signals part ways landing on my left wrist will riding, it was time to find a replacement. As Kuryakin no longer had this item for sale I did a google search and found Cycle Gear had an almost identical set of Rivco LED Turn Signal Mirrors to update my highly modified 1978 Kawasaki KZ-650 street-strip-show bike which has over 400 K miles on the clock (owned since 1980). I opted for the black finish instead of the chrome and especially like the rear facing indicators embedded in the mirrors.
Found replacement mirror / signal combo just like my Kuryakins, one of which broke off its arm while riding.
We were shopping for a helmet for my spouse. After a couple of hours of exploring all options we found the perfect fit. Unfortunately, there was only one of that size in the store and another customer had laid claim to it. So Travis reached out to another store location and had one shipped for arrival in a few days. They installed the pin lock and cleaned the finger prints off and sent me away with a smile and a membership to RPM.

The staff was kind. My information was put in the computer incorrectly so I missed out on some discounts which was upsetting.
When installing cards speakers in my helmet it took 3 staff members to get it correct. I feel that is a lack of education that should be provided by cycle gear or a cardio rep.

Went to the Bedford Tx. Store although it was very busy on a Saturday morning, The young man Gab took his time to help me with an entry lvl helmet for taking the MFS class and boots. Because I was walking I wasn't able to purchase the items. So I ordered them online.

Cycle Gear did not stock the Bell Pit Boss helmet that I wanted, but my sales rep was only too happy to order it and have it delivered to my house. It was on time like he said it would be.
I have purchased a few products now through cycle gear, and the products have always been high qu see even dad confirmed that ality, arrived on time, and I have even managed to return to the store. To me, this is excellent customer service.
My experience has been a long one! I finally found my helmet and they had it shipped right to my house. It wasn't the original one I ordered. I had wished I waited as opposed to to originally ordering it on line as they know at the shop the proper fit to order for you. Best to wait till you get there as they can ship anything you need straight to your house once you find the right lid!

I got this helmet on a spring sale and it was pretty much half off! Very comfortable even when I'm still breaking it in, have only worn it twice on the road. Love the feature of the dropdown visor and the face shield is quality as well!
I placed my order with Cycle Gear on the 27th, expecting it to ship within their promised 24 hours. I went ahead and booked my mechanic appointment based on that timeline.
Half the order arrived 4 days later — not too bad. But the rest, including my critical engine oil, took a full 10 days to show up. Classic case of "promises vs. reality" with online moto parts retailers. They advertise fast shipping, but in practice, that 24-hour window often turns into processing delays plus transit time that can stretch much longer than expected.
Thankfully, I jumped on Amazon at the last minute. I ordered the oil at 4:30 pm Saturday and had it in hand by 3:55 am Sunday — just 11 hours and 25 minutes later. It saved the day and kept my service on schedule.
Cycle Gear really needs to set more realistic expectations. When you're relying on parts for a booked mechanic appointment, a 10-day delay on supposedly in-stock items is frustrating. Amazon came through like a champ in the clutch, but I shouldn't have had to scramble like that.
Shopping experience was easy and it was even better to use my store credit and save a little.
I'm not sure what can be said about what of my favorite stores/websites, that people don't already know. I do wish there was an option to order OOS items so they immediately ship to you as they become available but otherwise- zero complains.
Order came as described in new condition. Jacket is great, vents well. Runs a little tight so order up a size
Had to order online because my local store doesn't carry 5x sizes and the other store was out of stock. Was told that shipping same day was not guaranteed for the weekends which I didn't think was right and not to be informed kind of pissed me off too.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
