I really like the e Cyclegear in Orland Park Ill.
They treat me like family when I come into the store. It is a warm and friendly atmosphere from the staff and I like that.
Had my tires shipped to the store with the intent to have Cycle gear install them. When they came in, I called the store to make an appointment and they said they don't take appointments you have to bring the wheel in and wait 48hrs to get it back. Even if you did the installation free that would suck! I wasted my time and gas to drive up there and pick up the tire when I could of just had it delivered to my house. Again that sucks, no one wants to lose that much riding time.

The communication with online orders is non existent. Orders was later than stated when first buying. Also, there wasn't any updates at all on the late orders until i had to personally call customer service a day after the items was suppose to be there. Put me in a bind and had to go out and re purchase items i already was waiting for.

Nice jacket with pads at a good discount due to some slight discoloration on one of the cuffs. Doesn't effect the jacket at all and is hardly noticeable.
Tire was delivered with dirt all over. Required a clean before install.
We got my little guy his first minibike. Shin and ankle protection is a must for beginners. Cycle gear had a really good selection for youth riding boots.

Happy with this purchase of a great quality safety vest. The fit is true to size the color is just the right amount for visibility to be seen. Plus it is adjustable to wear with just a shirt or your heaviest motorcycle jacket.
I ordered these t-shirts and had them delivered to a store so I could check out there quality before I left. I hate having to pay shipping and return shipping. So it took 3 weeks to arrive, not joking. So after 1 1/2 weeks I called the store to check if it was in stock. The guy gave me the run around and said he need to send it to someone else to check and he would have him call me back. Ok no biggie, waited for a call that never came. After another week I called the main head office. Some guy there said there's nothing he can do I his end and to call the store back. I told him I did and they won't call me back. He did not care and said well I can't help you. So I called the store again and he again said he'd call me back. He did the next day and said he couldn't find the shirt. So a couple of days later they finally called and said the shirt was in. There's more to it but that's the jist.
It was delivered. You do not need to spam me with emails to confirm this; you have a tracking number. If I wish to review a product I will do so.
My experience with cycle gear is the best quality stuff that makes riding amazing.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
