Ordered the tire, rode in expecting to get it changed. Workers never told me to bring the wheel only. Said they can't uninstall a wheel - well neither can i. Thanks.

First time having this issue with Cycle Gear. The Dunlop tire arrived with a completely collapsed bead rim because there was no insert to keep it open during storage/shipping. This made mounting the tire a royal P.I.T.A. And made it impossible to seat the bead. They couldn't seat it either. Had to take it to a Big Brand Tires that had a heavy duty shop compressor to get it seated & inflated.

They where able to find what I was looking for in color that I was looking for.
The tech that helped me with the purchase went above and beyond to help me find the product I needed and when it came in a different tech helped install it, it was busy that day and he paused his break to help and so impressed with the dedication and kindness

I love going to my local store and checking out the new stuff the only problem is all the items in the store are either beginner cheap stuff or really high end there is no stuff in the middle which is where you get the best value. So you wanna give the company business and order online but then it takes 3 days to even ship the order that's ridiculous it's 2024 ship same day or next day everyone does but taking multiple days to ship a item shows not being organized. I'll be ordering somewhere else for now on just due to the inability the shop within a reasonable amount of time transit time is one thing time to ship is pure laziness

Great customer service. I purchased something that didn't fit right, and was able to return it to a nearby store with no issues.
When it comes to my motorcycle needs wether it's riding gear or parts for my bikes I go to cycle gear.

No issues with ordering off the website. My only gripe is the way Cycle Gear's Loyalty program is structured, with a fee. I think the return policy should apply equally for all customers and the Loyalty Program should be free to join and maintain.

I went in for a new tube. The guys said my tire was shot, showing me where and explaining the risk. Without pressuring me, they suggested a new tire. I'm very grateful to be safely cruising again.
Experience was fine. I was a little frustrated with how the web site kept returning back too far and I had to keep entering in my specific bike. Could have been operator error...

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
