The employee was great, knowledgeable and took his time to explain sizes, what was in stock and what were other options since my helmet is older. Everything came in on time and as expressed.
So. I'm a big boy. 5'8" 250lb. I know may waist and my inseam. These are sold by sizes like large, extra large, etc. I ordered a 2XL short. I wear a 2XL shirt. No chance of wearing them. I need to loose like 20 pounds to have a shot at it. I want to lose the weight. So i'll hang onto these. Right now, however, they just sit on my dresser. Sizing things when your not the perfect shape is not easy, fun, nor consistent. If there was a chart to help you figure fitment i never saw it.
My experience was great. I ordered my product online because it wasn't available in the store.
Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the products they were selling. It's nice that most of the workers also ride.Although they didn't have what I originally went to the location for, they had an good understanding of both the product I wanted and the completely unrelated item I ended up buying.
I had purchased some gloves at a nearby store and then dropped one at work and the staff threw it away so I had to buy a new pair. While I was not happy having to spend another $150 after wearing them only one time I realized they were the best gloves I'd used so broke down. I ordered online and shipping was fast and I even got a slight discount so saved a couple bucks!
I've never had an unpleasant or negative experience at CycleGear.
Cycle gear is the go to shop on m area and I always find what I need and help to find what I need as a new rider. Both locations that I have visited never fail me
Ordered a replacement windscreen lock for my helmet. The part came quickly, and when I went to install it to replace the broken piece I thought I broke it. However it was fine it's just the parts aren't as exact as they should be and required finesse to get it back to its place.
Easy process, as usual from Cycle Gear. On time delivery never fails.
I ordered brake pads for my Harley online and had them delivered to my local Cycle Gear store to save on delivery fees. They arrived on time and I picked them up. My experience was as I expected.
Ordering was an easy experience, quick delivery, quality product for a reasonable price.
Helmet visor base plates, not functioning properly. In-store sales person ordered me the special parts, and then installed them for me quickly, and efficiently when they arrived. Couldn't be happier my very expensive helmet now functions the way it should.
The best, fastest experience one could ask for! Thank you!
My only wish is that there was more selection in the stores. I wear half or 3/4 helmets and selection in store is pretty limited. Was able to try on the brand to confirm shape but had to go online for the style and hope that the fit would be similar. Thankful it was!
The people at Nashville Cycle gear were great! Rob was amazing help and put my helmet and products together. He was very patient with us.
Purchased a tank bag for my T7! Works perfect. Also purchased a larger windshield that just doesn't work well for my height.
Working with the trainee to order the tires was time consuming and stressful as he ordered two front tires and I needed to get him to correct the order.
The tire arrived several days a part and when the front arrived I showed up with my wheel and was told they could not install it until the following Monday (4 days later) I left the wheel while I looked for other options.
I came back the next day and picked up the wheel and tire to take it to a different installer. When my rear arrived on Monday I dropped off my wheel just to be told that the guy that does tires is out and won't be in until Tuesday. I called on Tuesday to see when I could pick up the installed tire and got the manager who explained to me how he did not have his installer in that day but he would have someone in Wednesday and would call me before lunch when he knew he would have someone in to install the tire. On Wednesday I did not receive a call and when I called for status I was told it would be at least another day and that he would not call me back with an update so I would need to call them the next day.
I called back an hour after that call to get my wheel and tire brought up to the front of the store so I could pick them up and take them to another installer. When I arrive the two visible employees were talking to a 3rd person and no one turned around to see who arrived or to acknowledge me until I knocked my wedding ring on the counter to get their attention. On the plus side he did carry my wheel and trie to the car.
The employees were amazing, they set up my cardo and informed me how a pinlock worked. They added my pinlock after asking if I wanted it as well. Diego was amazing!
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
