I went in to Cycle Gear to buy a new helmet, which I did. But it was pointed out that I could also get the parts to repair the visor latch mechanism of my old helmet. I ordered those parts and that helmet is now fixed. I'll be swapping back and forth between the two helmets, but I was expecting to have to just toss the old one out.
Products (leather vest & helmet shield wash) were packaged and delivered separately. They were both wrapped well and delivered on time. As per usual when I order online from here!
Not good. Rear tire is old 2022. Pathetic you actually sold such an old tire. It's all about profit. Will never purchase another tire from cyclegear.
New bike, requires new weather protection gear. Went to store Try it on full length rain suit. Realized I would never be able to do that standing on the side of the road. So I purchased a rain jacket. They didn't have my size in the color I wanted, so I ordered it on Monday it arrived at my house Wednesday. No extra charge, great service as always.

When I recieved the box with the Red Baron goggles they were much lighter then I expected and when I took them out of the box felt them in my hand they feel very toylike and cheap. I bought these over the same from Amazon thinking they were of a lower quality. It feels like a China product off Temu. But shipping was fast and the box with the goggles came in was well packed. The Kriga L18 bag was of great quality.

Had to order a new voltage regulator/rectifier for my bike. Super easy to navigate the website to find the right part, verify the part number, and order it. I expedited shipping but the part got here very quickly and shipping communication was great.
The guy working there was 11/10 knew everything and anything I needed to know and I was there for around two hours just because I wanted to buy so much I didn't know what to decide on. Even then the guy I was working with helped me decide when I couldn't!

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
