It does not take 5 days to receive product from Plano TX to Tyler TX - The claim of "same day shipping is false. Yes they send you an email that it shipped but there is no tracking number from Fed Ex or UPS for days. I receive product for business next day from Dallas multiple days EVERY WEEK. I

Cycle Gear has always been a great place for gear. Their customer service agent helped me find the perfect pair of boots and their in store agent helped me exchange a pair of gloves with no hassle.

I ordered a new master link because i needed the clip that i had lost. The shipping cost was almost as much as the item. When i returned the link, i only received the cost of the link, not the outlandish shipping charge. Wtf?
Ordered helmets online for store pick-up. No only did the associate make sure the helmets were a good fit, she helped us select the right headsets.
It was difficult to find my size in stock in everything I looked at. I ended up buying a light weight jacket. The size I ordered was bigger than I normally wear, and was still way too small, so I won't be able to wear it, but don't want to deal with sending it back. I also ordered gloves and they fit. Lesson learned is go to the store and try stuff on, don't rely on size charts. The items I was interested in were not carried in store however.
I ordered a tire.
It was installed by another dealer.
For some reason I was charged a Tennessee tire disposal at the website. I was required to pay this again at the dealer whe4e the tire was mounted. This should be removed
The interior visor was not properly attached to the mounting system n would not function correctly. Fortunately the local store manager was able to adeptly assess n fix the issue!
I came in to order tires. The personnel at the store helped me to resize the proper tires to my bike. The tires were ordered and brought into the store in a very timely fashion. And then they did the installation of my tires at the store within 30 minutes. Overall, great experience. Thanks, guys will be back.
In the past couple weeks, I have done orders both online and in-store and have had absolutely no issues. The online orders were processed quickly and I received accurate shipping information with them. I have also reserved orders for in-store pick up online. All orders have been correct and ready on time.
This was my first time ordering - from Canada for delivery to the U.S.
During the 45 minutes I spent browsing and placing my order, they had sent me an email with a discount code for a first order which I then couldn't use because I had already placed my order! However, after I contacted them about this miss, they kindly rectified the situation and refunded me the difference. They also went above and beyond to ensure my order shipped at the beginning of their shipping window so it would arrive on time as it was a gift. Very impressed! Thanks.
I commute with my bike almost daily. I went out sunday for a ride when i noticed my chain was bad and needed a new one asap. I placed the order for my chain on Sunday. When I ordered it I was under the assumption that it was 2 day shipping. Understand that nothing would start being processed until Monday morning because Sunday isn't a business day. So I expected to get my chain by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. And didn't receive it till super late on Thursday evening. I ended up having to waist tons of money commuting passing by my local cycle gear over 8 times before my chain finally arrived. I am extremely disappointed with my experience and probably won't ever order here again if it's something I need more urgently because you can't be trusted to get my item to me on time.
Cycle Gear has fast shipping and its based in the U.S. My only gripe is that popular products in my size are usually out of stock.
Want to say that my guys and the one Gal at my Santa Fe springs CA store are always sure to greet and smile at you when walking in. They make it known that you will be taken care of when entering the store.
Stopped into your Jacksonville location to look at helmets. Walked out with a Cardo Packtalk Edge and two LS2 Advant X helmets on order. Delivery took only 3 days. The store installed the comms in both helmets, assisted in setup of the app. To say I was pleased with this location is an understatement.
Ordered the Dainese cycling gloves in size L, they are about two sizes too small. I'll have to seek an exchange or refund at a nearby Cycle Gear store. Still, a bit of an inconvenience, l don't blame Cycle Gear, but the manufacturer.
I didn't enjoy the fact the my tired came at two different times as well as that they weren't wrapped in anything for protection. A little more care is always nice.
Easy to comparison shop on the web and pick q product that met my needs. Reviews were very beneficial as they gave confidence the pants would fit based on everyone's feedback. This was important since these pants were only available online and not at the Cycle Gear store.

I just got my first bike at 50, and I need to gear up. I walked in and got greeted right away. I asked for help picking out a helmet. I got a thorough rundown of what I should consider and got helped picking out the helmet I wanted, and then ordered it in the color I wanted. Next weekend I stopped in to pick it up and, again, had a great conversation about how to take care of the helmet, and a bunch of other stuff. These guys are great!
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
