I purchased some over boots and some rain pants. The only thing I didn't like was there was that you can't tighten the pants. They have a cheap elastic but it fits loose.

The open Box Item said it didn't have the hardware, but it did come with all the necessary hardware to install, looks like it was missing a different part, some sort of bracket, that might be part of another kit.
I contacted CycleGear about replacing the original windshield on my 1998 Valkyrie. Unfortunately, I was given an incorrect part number, placed an order, and received the wrong windshield. Mary in customer service was quick to send me an RMA and shipped out the correct windshield. The new windshield looks great and fit perfect.
Haven't been to cycle gear in a while. I went to the revzilla site to order something and was given the option for store pickup. I was surprised to see that I could pickup the item at my local cycle gear. Very cool
My last successful helmet purchase was in 2012, so I had a steep learning curve to accomplish that day. I credit Brooke at the Greenville store for making my purchase stress free & successful. This was my second Biltwell purchase, the first time i wore this helmet the temps were in the 40's and my breath naturally created a little condensation on the inside of the visor. When i got to my destination, i found that the moisture buildup had caused some kind of substance to breakdown on the interior of the visor. Attempted to use water and a microfiber cloth to clear the visor, only to have more material flake off and worsen the issue. Will be taking this product back to my local store today.
Ordered gas jug Wednesday night paid extra $22 for two day shipping because needed it for a race on Sunday. Called Thursday morning to make sure it would be here only to be told it's already been shipped and won't be here till Monday and there's nothing they can do. Extremely disappointed probably won't order from cycle gear again.
Ordered a tire online, I dropped off my rim at Cycle Gear so they could mount it when the tire arrived.
Ordered it on Sat., tire arrived Thurs., I got a call to let me know it had arrived. Drove over right after the call and they mounted/balanced the tire $30 and out the door I went. Fast, Friendly Customer Service.

I got two products a set of gloves and replacement shield clips for my helmet. The clips were not as pictured but worked so I was happy. The gloves were as pictured but I paid 5 bucks more than the sticker price on the gloves vs the website so a little disappointed if I could have gotten them for less in store.
I ordered a rear tire for my Harley Davidson and brought it to motorcycle shop to put on after 2 days of trying the owner said it wouldn't bead wouldn't seal to the rim. He even wrote on receipt it was a bad tire. I contacted cycle gear showed pictures and the note and they told me I was stuck with it and try another tire shop. I brought it to Harley Davidson and they said tire was bad too and rimnwas good. I bought same tire from Harley shop and it went on first time. Now I'm out $300 and installation fees at 2 tire shops. Never order tires from this place as they sit in some warehouse drying out so they don't seal to the rim. Buy it straight from the dealer. They didn't give no refund, store credit or discount. My previous order for a saddle man seat took over a month to get in and Everytime I called support I received the run around. Can't believe bthis place is still in business and they sucked me in to buying there membership program too. Stay away

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
