I usually use a full helmet when riding. I wanted a 1/2 helmet to use during my visit to Ocean City for Bike Week. I found a reasonably priced helmet on the CG website. Helmet arrived quickly and in time for my vacation.
Went to order part from store and told me I could not do that anymore and had to order on line which took a week! In the past i would order from store and would be there the with in 2 days or less! What happened to the fast service!

I ordered the Biltwell "Gringo" Helmet. I have other helmets from Arai and Bell and the Biltwell compares nicely. The red color is really a great match to my Triumph Scrambler paint. It fits well and I look forward to wearing it for many years to come.

I followed the directions to measure my head and ordered the size it corresponded with and it fits just perfectly! Love the strap feature with a snap set it and forget highly recommend this helmet

We went to a cycle gear store to try them on the sale guy was awesome literally tried four different sizes for me and two for the old lady normally I am a XXL I had to order the 5XL and the old lady is usually a XS she ordered SM
Olivia is amazing! She has great customer service, knows what's perfect for the customer and isn't a pushy salesperson. She took extra time to explain everything and was just fantastic to work with. The only reason I gave 4 stars on delivery time was because of Fed Ex and not CycleGear!
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.


The store can still order the item for you. Unfortunately if the item is not readily available in one of our warehouses we do have to get it from the vendor.
