Always a nice experience to purchase online
I tried to order from Cycle Gear's site on my smart phone, it would not add the item to the cart to complete my order. So I went by the store and placed the order. It took a little longer in shipping, but it was the holiday season, so it was somewhat expected. Overall I am satisfied with the process and product.
My wife and I both needed new helmets. We tried on helmets in the store to insure a good fit as we were changing brands. Helmets and a new Sena 50C communication unit were ordered and received in a timely manner. The store manager, Nicki installed the Sena in my helmets and swapped our previous unit into my wife's new helmet. Great service!

10/10! Every time I got to the Tampa store off of fletcher, I'm greeted with a hellos and smiles! The staff is absolutely fantastic! They take the time to get you know you and actually REMEMBER YOU and that truely goes a long way! And that alone will have me coming back time n time again, vs just ordering online, shoot…. Sometimes I just got there to order online and ship to store just to stop by because it's always a fantastic experience!
I ordered the windscreen on Friday Dec 19th and the item got to me on Sunday! Didn't expect it to be that fast. But the windscreen looks good on my son's CB300R. It took a bit to get it installed but after a few videos I was able to get it installed.
The process was very easy from start to finish. I like that you have multiple pay options.
No directions just online. Video is vague and applied to all KTM's. I installed protecting wires with split loom but worried that mud will cling to the split loom and pull wires down. I had to remove the fender support that also hides the OEM wires. Unit is clean looking and plate holder well made from CNC aluminum. I may install bolt with locking nut thru the upper fender since the weight of the taillight, license plate and holder are held in place with two crews into the fender plastic. No other options that I could find. Time will tell if unit is well made for the elements.
We went Into the store Gilroy California and received excellent service from a young man who took his time describing different materials, different fit and comfort. I asked for his information so that I could give him commission on the purchase and he said not a problem go ahead and order online and get what we need, gave us sku numbers or/ and offered for us to come back in when ready for purchase
Everything from the product to shipping was great. I just wish they would have been clearer that the helmet was almost two years old, cause I thought it was clearance from 2025 not 2024. Luckily Arai still has a five year warranty from date of purchase.
I ordered a face sheild for my HJC helmet and the service was excellent! They put it on when it came in. Went the extra mile cleaning underneath the old sheild! Great Job!
Looked for my first pair of motorcycle pants everywhere. These were highly rated and half the price that I found anywhere else. Definitely will shop again

I received my jacket, but the delivery driver just set it over my fence instead of bringing it to the porch and in these day and ages with porch pirates that was not a wise idea but I'm happy with the coat
I've purchased gear from CycleGear in the past without issue. However, I always went into a store and see what's available. This year I tried to order on-line. I first contacted the Azusa location to confirm tire availability. Their site contained several options which could be use (trail tires) However, once I called the store I was informed they don't carry any trail tires, at all, and they wouldn't bring any into the store, even if I ordered them. I asked why were they advertised on their site if they were not going to offer them for sale? A few times during my phone conversation, I was asked to hold, which I did, only to have the same person come back on the line sounding more frustrated than before the request to hold, (I don't know if he was frustrated with me, trying to purchase something clearly advertised on their site, frustrated with a customer in the store, or frustrated with another call in customer). Either way, not someone who should be talking with customers. I ended up ordering through the Pasadena location, without any problems, and I'll never call the Azusa again.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
