I ordered a Klim jacket and went it came in it was too big, so we send it back with the guys at cycle gear and ordered a smaller size and received it 5 days later cause of a shipping screw up. I was supposed to get it in 2days.

Ordered a pinlock for my helmet. Showed up when it was supposed to and I received a call to let me know it was there.
This was my first online experience with Cycle Gear. It was nice and easy!
The tire I ordered came in on time and the tracking was spot on so I met the tire at the store with the wheel so it could be mounted. Even after clarifying the wheel rotation direction with a note on the wheel, the tire was mounted backwards and had to be removed and remounted, then re-balanced. The technicians on-site were unable to balance the tire when mounted in the correct direction and discounted the service sending me to another local shop to have the tire balanced.

Great tinted visor! Fits my Arai Contour-X perfectly. The only small hiccup was the sticker/little paper inside not listing Contour-X, but RevZilla's site has the correct info. Could be confusing a little for some, but a quick call to RevZilla would clear things up. Overall, super happy with it!
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
