It took a week to receive at my local Cycle Gear retail store but maybe winter weather was a delay factor. Getting the correct hardware size is worth the wait though.

I recieved alot of help picking out my first full face helmet. And also bought a comms system. Once my delivery came they installed the comms explained everything to me in detail and was thoroughly happy.
I ordered 2 tires for my KLR 650 and they were delivered extremely fast and are exactly what I expected. That's all I can same for now because I haven't installed them yet.
Helmet is very nice. A little tight around the cheek bones and a little bigger around temple. Easy to open and close.
Returned a pair of boots due to a product malfunction. Selected new boots and were delivered quick. Only complaint I have is that the new boots size is a little big and the right ankle support dogs into the ball of my ankle. I don't notice it so much while riding but the second I get off the bike and stand up I feel the discomfort.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
