I took this on a 850 mi ride the day after it showed up. Very comfortable right out of the box. Very quite when the vents are closed especially for a modular. Vents flow well and the pinlock really helped when I went through the rain. I bought this on discount but would absolutely pay full price for the newer version now that I know how good this is.

Tried to buy it first from my local store but they didn't have any (much less my color choice) in stock. Ordering noted they had 1 available and it arrived quickly. Cheek pads were WAY tighter than the in demo helmet I tried on. No cheek pad choices available online was very disappointing. For now I've inflated a volleyball in the helmet to accelerate the breaki-n period.

Ordered a new tire and received it quickly. I did not see an option for ship to store. Also, if the tire change fee requires a tube, the price should be updated for tube tires to include the tire change fee and the tube change fee. Great service none the less.
It takes some careful reading to learn the Givi Toolbox does not come with the Givi Toolbox Fit Kit for Pan Am. All the pics show the Givi Toolbox, even in a separate pic by itself. It takes some studying to find, "Givi Toolbox not included. I thought the price was a bit good.

I was looking for a specific tire I could not find on line. So I went to the store the salesperson could not find it either. As I was browsing looking for other stuff I spied the tire on the very top of the rack. Nobody knew it was there or even existed. Computers are not as great as people claim!
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
