I when to Cyclegear and ordered a front tire for my 2021 Can-Am Spyder RT on Monday January 12th and by the 17th it was on my bike. I went on vacation the 18th and had no problems. The salesman was very polite and courteous and had my tire ordered quickly. I would diffidently use Cyclegear again
As usual, I was able to order the item (chest/back armor) I wanted online, for local, in-store pick-up. It was delivered quickly and with no issues. I even tried it on for fit, before leaving the store.
The purchase of my Roc Straps effortless. I went to the Pensacola store to purchase them, but they were not in stock. The manager offer to order the and have them delivered to my house in two days. Shipping was free and the straps arrived as scheduled. Cycle Gear is always my first destination for all my motorcycle needs.

Scratches on both the helmet and visor. Product box that was INSIDE the shipping box was demolished full of dust and broken as if it had been kicked around the storage floor room before being shipped out. The shipping box was in better condition. Which was unfortunate because I like to keep my helmet boxes for storage. I'm a bit disappointed to say the least but I guess that's my fault for ordering online instead of brick and mortar.
Order arrived and they pulled it out when I called the store. I rode down to pick it up and they offered to install it for me. What a world of difference. I never had a pinlock shield before. I will probably never not have one again.

I ordered this helmet for my father in law as a Christmas gift and the original helmet ordered was too big. We took it back to the store and they were very helpful with the exchange and shipment of the new helmet.
Although in good condition the item is used/returned. Tags are detached, only placed in one of the pockets. The suspender strap that is suiposed to be included in the set is missing.

Purchased items Friday morning, Cycle Gear claimed that item would "ship today if I purchased in the next three hours', placed order and paid for two day delivery. Did not receive order until Wednesday of following week. Kind of like I placed a regular shipped order.
I orderd a new tire late Thursday afternoon. It arrived Saturday before noon. The price on the tire was in line with all the other companies online. I will order from Cycle Gear again when I need more gear.
If you're going to order boots I suggest going in store if possible and try a pair on before hand. My store doesn't carry my size ever so I tried a pair on and I still had to return the first pair I ordered but once I got the other pair they fit perfectly
The sales person at the Cycle Gear in St. Charles MO was very friendly and helpful. She took care of my order quickly and easily. The boots that I purchased were supposed to be new but when they arrived they were not new so I returned them to the store where a different sales guy waited on me and was super helpful. He took the return and processed a new order for me.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
