Like many others suffering under the brilliance of our illustrious leaders' ineptitude, I've been forced into donating plasma to survive in the wake of the false flag "pandemic". In the two plus years I've been donating every single change in their policies has been detrimental to the donors. Patrons are treated as less than human and have no voice or representation, I once addressed the doctor on a purely personal note (guy/car talk) he was shocked and apauled as if he'd been addressed by a six headed toad. They plaster the walls with the joys and wonders of plasma donation while simultaneously stripping donors of dignity and benefits, they intentionally keep donors in the dark and feed them bull$#*! like inanimate mushrooms. Just one more corrupt corporate entity treating people like toilet tissue. Steer clear if you can.
Is basically stealing your plasma from you because they're really not paying you what it is worth it is yellow gold Liquid Gold. I watched a documentary on you guys and how your you know put in the lowest porous areas of the black community and you not pay them what their plasma is worth. You know I'm even ashamed to say that I don't need plasma for this very small amount of money because times are hard but if times weren't hard I would try to shut you down cuz you need to be shut down you're not paying people what their plasma is worth. And with your system of taking incoming donors in and then having to stand in line over an hour in order to get back to the donation seat this is causing people to have bladder problems, kidney failure you all need to be put out of business. How can I've been giving blood since 2015 and now my protein levels are low and you want a sample of my blood b**** I know I kind of blood I have and you will not be getting a sample because I think you already know what it is so good riddance to you CSL I hope you get closed down permanently. Some of the employees are horrible security is ridiculous I think security thinks he owns CSL it's funny how when the big shots are in there it's totally different and when they're not there the hip hop music is on loud the silliness is occurring there's not much more I can say but you need to be closed down permanently you're robbing people and then you're putting people at
After being gone for over 2 years, I had to go through the entire process again to become a donor again. I spent 3 hours completing everything including donation and being told I would receive $150. Upon completion and checking the amount of compensation on card, only received $95. What? I called and asked why I didn't receive the amount I was told from management and their response was, "well how much do you weigh, because it goes by weight". Well I weigh enough and really that should not even matter at this point because I was and am classified as new donor to receive $100 and a welcome back bonus of $50. Hmmmm... Not at all what I received and they were not and will follow through with the amount they told me at all. All I can say is, bad business and I will not go back ever! If the company and employees can not be honest and follow through with what they tell new or returning donors, what else will they not be truthful about? Absolutely angry and disgusted with this company and facility I went to, no referral from me to anyone thinking about donating! I suggest that you check with other plasma facilities, there many and they are honest and follow through with what you are told that you will receive as compensation for your donation. I will go back to the one plasma facility that everyone is very nice, professional and what your told or showed is what you get! SHAME SHAME on you CSL PLASMA FACILITIES, how many other people have to lied to and treated wrong? We all know how much you make off of only one bottle of plasma, so you really have to short people on the compensation because you need it... no it is because your GREEDY!
I usually give 690 a Technician input 880 for me and they did compensate me for the mistake, or even the fact that I donated 880. If I had to do 880, I would have gotten paid so why was it different. My wife called and tt corporate and it took two full days for them to call me back, and compensate me $15. I go back on my regular day and was turned away because they claimed my protein was low. They normally allow me to look at my protein results but today no, I guess because we called Corporate. I just decided it's not worth the time, and effort to continue donating here.
Generally good, but very frequently staff turnover, loudest staff members seem to intimidate less loud ones which are few and don't last long, donors often disrespect fast pass rules and go in whatever line they want to. With no calling out by staff, even when made aware, donors sometimes stand on line while staff is waiting for shift change, or they will fill an entire bay, then another staff member calls the next person in line and starts their line...on the positive side, staff ALWAYS, IMO, follows proper safety and sterility procedures, masks, shields and gloves are consistently used
They are cutting feed to save money. Avoid them
Staff shortages, unhappy staff and unpleasant. ………………
You will be better off at Bio
This place is horrible. I need to find who is the head of all location in New Jersey. I went to the one in Clinton Nj and the Manager named Marsha treated me like I was a criminal mind you I'm a decent respectful person and I just said to the lady who was taking my vital to be less hostile since it doesn't reflect well on my blood pressure and she immediately took offense and went to her Manager which I also wanted to address to the manager as well that they should have better manners in customer service and the manager didn't like my concern and told security to escort me out like if I was a criminal or did something bad! It seems that now people don't have human/customer rights to voice a concern on those who gets treated grossly bad, screamed at or escorted by security whereI had to call the cops as I refuse to be treated that way! Can someone let me know how can contact the head of this organization because it seems these facilities are getting away with murder by treated people bad and using security to mistreat customer the way I was treated where I had to make a police report-call the cops since the security guy through my purse outside the facility. I need someone to contact me *******302 if you have any leads or suggestions how should o proceed in making them accountable for mistreating people in a such degrading way taking our customer rights to voice concerns...and treating us like criminals! I had to give 1 star but it should be 0 since I can't post of if I don't give a rating.
CSL Plasma in Utica is horrifying. Went twice, noticed how dismissive they were of clients. Third time I went, they called security on me because I complained about the poor, lazy customer service & they banned me I am a lady senior citizen. Never been so insulted in my life. I will do anything I can to shut them down.
I haven't been there since June or July. They deferred me because I wouldn't go apologize to a jerk. First of all I was there way too long, I had to use the bathroom and they just walking around doing nothing so the guy comes by and says I'll be right back mind you these other techs are walking around doing nothing but talking. My voice is aggressive I understand that I simply said I got to pee. That made him come over there. He gonna say I wish you wouldn't be disrespectful I was mad by this time so I just looked at him cuz I know me. He pulled the needle out put the cotton on my arm and tightly wrapped it I mean cutting off my circulation purposely my arm still goes numb and this has been since during July.I was going back the following week.I went on my side to sign in or whatever they done deferred me so I called to see why. The lady told me you just need to come in and ask for a manager. I'm already knowing what it's about so I went on their site and I politely told them my plasma cost way too much anyway I've been sick since I left them it feels like a piece of the needle is literally in my arm I have a black mark on my arm and it gone numb. He purposely messed my arm up. I'm not going back up to apologize to a jerk just to make him feel better it's way more plasma centers in Nashville. I didn't get his name but I see him all the time walking around there with attitude now you got what you give and you mad.
I don't see how they have good reviews unless they not going to the one in Madison square shopping center in Nashville Tennessee you got Brittany who always wears the same gloves after every patient and think it's okay to just use sanitizer. Then when you finally wait an hour to get to the back to give a donation you got your hood rats back there standing over you talking unnecessary conversations instead of working so you have a whole line waiting to be seen while they finish their conversations never mind a little skinny lead walking around not doing nothing but trying to give orders. Ain't no way these good reviews came from Madison square
DO NOT DONATE HERE. I have been waiting for 3 hours and when they finally took my heart rate and blood pressure, my heart rate was at 48 bpm which is 2 bpm less than the required bpm of 50. They took my heart rate twice and it remained the same. However, they let me know that they do have an exception for low heart rates for athletes, I would just need to be evaluated by medical. I told them that's fine, and as I went into medical I was told that I have to be "a professional athlete" in order to be qualified. I cannot be labeled an athlete because I play sports, I have to get paid for it. Not even the college level counts. He said that because my heart rate was already taken twice, he cannot take it a third time and I have to go home. He also informed me that those who took my vitals were supposed to wait 15 minutes before the second take. They did not wait 15 minutes, they waited about one second. Now, they have sent me home, and I am not allowed to donate today. Reasoning: I run every day, I lift weights everyday, I play sports, and I just happen to be in too good of a shape to donate plasma.
Two times their lab didn't process my previous donation bottle so when I tried to donate the next time they said I couldn't donate until the lab processes my plasma bottle. Front desk didn't tell me that I couldn't donate so I waited almost two hours before I asked why I hadn't been called. The screener said I needed to see a doctor for TPP physical. However, when the doctor pulled up my file it said that I couldn't donate because the lab didn't process my previous donation. So I wasted 90 minutes to get to the location and 3 hours in the donation center without being screened or processed. Do not waste your time here.
By far some of the laziest workers I have come across are the people who screen. Will stand outside their booth while there is a line of people. Talking and deciding on their own when to call you in. Not all of them but 2 or 3 of the same ones constantly.
We come to donate and leave and continue with our busy lives. They act as if we have all day to be there.
Just horrible.
I was terrified of needles ever since I first started getting vaccinations as a small child. As an adult, my PCP would have to give me valium just to draw blood with a tiny needle. Then I became homeless, but not unsheltered. I was forced to live with my mother. I needed money so badly, but refused to donate plasma due to the size of the needle alone--the size of a dog whistle for pete's sake. Then one day my back was against the wall and donating plasma was my only option for quick cash. I would just have to muster up the courage, suck it up and do it, if i was to make it through the crisis I had found myself in. So I did it. I filled out the paperwork, completed the interview and learned how it all worked. During the entire first time I was there, I kept reminding myself that those people wielding that huge needle were professionals. They were phlebotomists trained to insert a needle of any size appropriately and as painlessly as possible. When it was my turn to lie down on the table that first time, I simply did not look and requested they not narrate their every move, especially not to count down until that very moment of insertion. I felt nothing! Nothing at all. I was so pleased and it only took me half an hour to complete the process after having laid down evert time I went from then on,
Because getting a job was nearly impossible for me for whatever reason and despite the hundreds of applications and resumes sent out, I was relegated to donating plasma. CSL doesn't pay the most, but they were certainly the quickest as I would later find out.
My mother passed away and since that time, I had to go stay with a friend, which I did for a year and a half. However, I failed to tell the "powers that be" at CSL that I had a new address. So one day after having received returned mail from my old address, I was required to see a 'medical specialist'. But that's not what I was told. I was told by an employee that they needed to discuss my medical history. I waited patiently, and a bit irritated for the Nurse or whatever specialty medical professional wanted to talk to me.
She was abrupt, rude and so far off base with her accusations toward me. Her mind was made up like a stubborn grandpa who knew everything about life and I knew nothing. She talked to me like I was a child and only heard what she wanted to hear. Sound familiar? When I tried to explain to her that I was homeless and had simply changed addresses, all she heard was the word homeless, which evidently being homeless, not that you are sheltered just don't have a place you can call your own, being homeless to the medical industry or particularly a plasma donation place means that you have some inexplicable disease or have been exposed to someone who has some disease that they had no way of being able to test for such disease.
Sadly, while the homeless who are just like everyone else has to re-prove to those who are just a couple of paychecks away from being homeless themselves, that they aren't scabies-ridden, STI afflicted, or have maybe just gotten Hep-A from going to the library. Completely absurd, but also completely not the reason I was led to be believe I needed to be seen by medical. No. They just needed a correct address. Or that is what I was told out of one side of her mouth prior to not being able to finish my sentence about why the address had changed, and which was completely not against the guidelines of any plasma center. Our of the other side of this toxic, self-righteous know-it-all professional, I had suddenly morphed into a non-human being who had lied about my PAST medical history which had absolutely nothing to do with the conversation. I snapped back at her incorrect pre-conceived prejudices in defense of myself.
What did I get in return? PERMANENT DEFERRMENT. Meaning I could no longer go back to CSL Plasma because of some hot-headed, pretentious fool that refused to listen and be objective about the situation. This caused me a great deal of financial distress. A great deal during a time I needed that money the most, however meager it was.
So I wrote an email to their home office. Know what the response was? A boiler-plate answer to the effect of something like: "sorry for your inconvenience, but we aren't going to listen to your side of the situation because we have a God-complex, and know everything there is to know about you personally and we stick by your permanent deferment irrespective of how wrong our employee was and how badly it affected your life. After all, we're big, your little, we're smart, your dumb, we are better than you, sorry your a piece of crap who is homeless."
That is MY perception of their response. In honesty, it was short and poisonous: "Sorry for your dissatisfaction but we stand by our decision." Well, they can be wrong all they want. In the end, they will suffer the consequences of their behavior toward people that is based on prejudices that don't belong in a medical industry designed to help others, to edify them. Not stultify those who volunteer their time and efforts.
I fractured two toes at work, but I didn't need either surgery nor medication (painkillers, etc), so I didn't donate for 7 weeks, after 7 weeks I'm still was wearing a boot, but I'm feeling great. I did the questionnaire and I specified that I was feeling healthy and was not taking medication. After I went through the registration process I went straight in line waiting for my turn to donate. I was almost done with my donation when some of the workers came to say hi and asked me what happened to my foot, these person and everyone else did not acknowledged me or greeted me when I first came it, anyway I explained what happened and after I was finished donating the told me right there on the floor that I shouldn't have donated because of my foot. But I CSL had at the moment closed to 15 people on the floor including management staff and no one noticed me?! So then I'm the one responsible for them not don't their job properly and all the do chitchat, swear, talk load and all kind of nonsense, while we're there waiting for 2 hours, 2 1/2 hours or more… really?… A nurse told me to go see her and she wanted to take my boot off and at that point it's been already three and a half hours of my being there and I need to go, and she stated to tell me that what I did was wrong, again, I was speechless cause how can they blame it on me? When I came back a a few weeks later another nurse and this time the manager gave me the same speech, I was not happy at all because the staff should be aware of if someone is wear a orthopedic boot, they should ask the person beforehand what happened. I think I ashamed the manager and nurse so much the banned me from CSL system telling me they were going lunch and investigation regarding my situation, but they didn't wanted to take my medical information, my doctor's name and number for them to verify everything I had told them. Bottom line they not letting donate stating they still investigating, the truth is they're ashamed because I called them out. I mean, I've been donating at this place even before they got hired there, and I had donated at the CSL plasma in Blue Heron, Riviera Beach, FL. I just wish to go back and donate in Riviera Beach, never again will I donate in Greenacres even though is closer to me.
Center 241 is amazing it's like being with family very nice center that's why I been going there 2 years now friendly employees always watching what's going on during the procedure makes me feel good about being there...
So after looking at all your reviews all the people that work at your place are jerks. I have not done one drug in my life and they kicked me out because they considered me a drug addict. So all you people legit judge people by the way they look. How pathetic are you called the ombudsman's office on you also called better Business bureau about how your people treat people. Yeah as I'm not allowed to donate anymore because I flipped the woman off and said $#*! off cuz she legit said straight to my face. I must be a heroin addict. She lied to the manager obviously who wouldn't so they don't lose their job. You got some bad bad reviews and you have someone there who's sexually assaults people. Wow! I am definitely calling better Business bureau when o budsman's office on you. After literally reading all of the feedback. I can't believe you're not shut down yet. That's the problem. The one in Methuen is way better than you. And I don't treat people like crap. You can't have a scratch on your hand without them thinking you're a meth head. You can't walk in at 7:30 in the morning. Tired or you're a drug addict you can't go there in the afternoon with your hair. All messy cuz you must be a drug addict you can't go there in the evening because you must be sleeping all day because you are a drug addict that's how you treat people. Shame on you and shame on Maine for keeping you open
Ive been going to CSL for 3yrs and is a platinum donor.if they want to get rid of you they will they permanently defferd me.first I got into a argument with a guy because he thought I was talking about him.I wasn't he asked me I told him I don't even know you so how could I be he said I think you are and his mother was there with him he stated he would punch me in my face.so I'm paying very close attention to him and the intake lead started calling my name like I'm at fault and expects me to do what get punched.so she gets mad go get the supervisor on me I explained to them what was going on.so now the got it in for me... because of this also a in take staff got mad because I didn't speak to her.so I told a guy that asked me did I want my place back inline I told him no I had problems with the worker and I didn't want to get burned twice so I'm good so another staff member called me in her booth the staff lady busted in the Booth threatend to get her family on me.they barred me because I was there Friday 23 2024 and I was doing my vitals when the worker ask me to take off my jacket I also had on a vest she asked me to take off my vest too.so I Said as long as I e been coming here I ain't had to take off my vest and I asked if it was anything else I need to take off.I be dam the manager called me in a room asked me what did I say I told him what I said.he kept asking me if I told her I would take off my pants I told him no I didn't say all that.they defferd me saying that they have given me several chances.and brought of insataces were it wasn't my fault but they still blame me. They only believe one sided stories so believe if it ain't your fault then there going to make it use things against you that wasn't your fault. Just the situation there looking at not who's at fault which is very unfair...but we're ever there's money there's problems with people.staff and donors like a prison system were you have to watch the guards and inmates because neither want to see you leave.so the make things difficult for you give you a super hard time.they so busy they not concerned about how your being treated but there logo says do the amazing its not like that if you want to be judged go to CSL like the penitentiary in Muskegon Michigan.there more concern with making there money and not how you're being treated
I went to CSL plasma in Muskegon Michigan April 1st and when I walked in it was a lady in front of me and a Guy in the back of me so I went to the back of the line.they guy said hey you want your spot back.I said no I'm good he said you sure.I said yes. So he was looking confused to why not.so I told him it save trouble and problems because I experienced a time I came in and they lady that took my vitals was upset because I didn't say anything back to her and she started saying she hate rude ass people so I'm like wow 😳.I wasn't feeling good that' morning health reasons back pain disc pain...so that's the reason I went to the back of the line...so the lady called me to do my vitals while she was taking my blood pressure.the lady that said I was rude for not speaking to her came started threatening me with her family and just arguing with me.I'm like okay were in a booth and a place were there's no tolerance for threats of any kind posted though out the building. Another situation I was in line again and it was a younger guy in front of me so I was having a conversation with a guy I knew about being here at CSL in line a people run back in forth to the bathroom chat with other people and the expect to get there place back in line it's annoying at times.so the guy in front of me cut me off in my conversation and said are you talking about me.I said dude I don't even know you so how could I be talking about you I don't know you at all.so he got an attitude started telling his mother she jumped in also that he was going to punch me in my face.so me being a man and stand my ground i told him no you won't because if you punch me you won't punch no else.the little pettie staff lady don't know whats going on.but she like blaming me and went a got staff I've talked 3 different times about this same situation.they judge you they think you should not be there so they'll try and get you defferd...like wrap blood pressure wrap tight. So reading off til sticking the need in wrong also you don't gain weight even if it's thanksgiving you still weigh the same but it's a community penitentiary you have to watch staff and the people that comes in the public.but I've learned that the best policy don't say anything at all.I did that and that caused a problem also.so I guess it is what it is.
I go to csl in muskegon Michigan and to me it's a institution not a center you have attuides people judging you by the way you look donors and staff so you don't have a friend.they'll stick you wrong anything to deter you like your making millions.but I thought you can donate every 3 days twice a week im schedule for every 4-5 days for no reason at all.judging you your making to much money and not saving life's.you deal with a lot of discrimination there donors and people.so I was sharing a thought of what I see going there for 2 yrs.and counting I guess til they bar me for whatever reason the can think of to stop me from donating.is sad you can't even save a life with out people making it difficult but they have a sign come do the amazing.yea right.you won't feel amazing when you leave.for sure..
I've donated before. Now for some reason I have to see the nurse. There is no nurse and many of us sitting here waiting to see the nurse. This company makes it so difficult to donate. They need a serious overhaul.
First of all how ur company do be keeping none your scales is up to date how u gonna take my weight twice. And put down the number that is less witch they other one is correct my disappointment is why would u put the less weight.so my concern is do u people do that purposely. Because that mess up and you guys are ripping people off not cool.so if anyone is reading this please do something about it it's unfair for those that is donating to ur cose n to help
But to be taken advantage of well that right
About Csl in grand junction Colorado. The staff does not change gloves between people. The so called manager said it's not fda regulated. Seems very un sanitary when I have needle in my body and they don't change gloves at all from person to person. They put your health at risk. They protect themselves but not the patient. Don't catch a disease. I had three manager argue with me about how he said it's OK to not change gloves after handling several patients. How do I know you don't have blood or body fluids on your gloves before you stick me. Oh and about there weight scales. They are always wrong. I've weighed myself at home and used a weight to calibrate my scale several times with exactly the same stuff on when I went there and I'm five pounds heavier? They get more plasma from you the more you weigh. Which for them means more money. I told the manager I could prove his scales are not correct but he said not to touch any of there equipment. Hmmm. Guess I was right. Idc bout the scales even though they are wrong I'm concerned for my health and other people's health. I hope people read this and understand the risk they at csl plasma grand junction Colorado put you in.
