So this morning I get to the CSL at Yeadon location which ALWAYS seems to be understaffed and there is only one gentleman performing the donations (not sure what they're called). He is handling 10 people at one time non-stop while another 30 people are on the line waiting their turn. All these people for only one person. However, Justin understands the urgency, and proceeds to do his job with such high positive energy. He doesn't seem overwhelmed or frazzled at all. I think I was more stressed than him just watching him have so much on his plate. Yet he continued to connect donors to the machine while disconnecting donors that were completed and while cleaning up and setting up for the next individuals on the line. All the while there's another staff member by a computer who seems to be taking a job related test and she is asking him assistance about some questions on the test she does not understand with no regards to the pressure he is experiencing. He seemed to answer her once but then clarified to her he could not assist her anymore because he had 10 donors to maintain and a line of 40 waiting to be next. I don't know what the issue is I'm this location with maintaining the proper amount of staff but Justin should be commended. He shouldn't be commended for just doing his job but he should be commended for his professionalism, diligence, team player attitude, positivity and holding it down when it's necessary. He deserves a raise it a bonus. Most of all he deserves acknowledgment for keeping a smile under a very strenuous situation. Thank you Justin for making me feel at ease when you noticed I was afraid of the needle. You are a rock star and any company would be better off having you as an employee.
I really enjoy visiting the CSL in Flint Michigan. Laterrika is a shining star for the group. I have always enjoyed her presence and the advice she's given. I know one day she will work within the corporate office as she advance her career path. She has a beautiful personality, and very wise. I love her truly.
I would definitely NOT recommend the Houston CSL site on Ella Boulevard in Houston, Texas. Yesterday was my very first visit. I was there for over 7 hours! I arrived just after 7:00am, and when entering was told that it would take 2-3 hours. The person at the front desk started my intake, but the majority of the first 4 hours I was sitting in the reception area. When I asked the armed guard (yes, they have an armed security guard that walks around inside) how much longer it would be, I was told that the reception person was eating her lunch! She was eating lunch while I was still waiting to be seen after 4 hours! To make a long story short, I was there in the reception area for close to 6 hours - no water or food - before finally actually getting to the back to donate plasma. It was after 2:00pm when I finished. I was so thirsty. I stopped at Walmart to get something to drink and nearly collapsed before getting out to my car where I vomited in the parking lot. A terrible experience. Being forced to go without even water for 7 hours is inhumane. There is no reason an initial visit should take 7 hours...ever. The staff at this site is incompetent.
I'm not sure what their deal is, but management just keeps allowing them to fully stock up on appointments despite the fact that they are horribly understaffed to handle the volume of people they're taking in. Yesterday I went in when they weren't that busy at 1 PM and after 3 HOURS I had yet to even start the blood drawing process. At that point I just left because on top of that, there were people that had been waiting LONGER than me. Even more so, they had a line so long of new people coming in that they had to designate more space for it. Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of taking appointments?
I've been doing plasma for about 3 years. It's a very clean and the people are all very nice. I've never had a problem with donation and will continue to donate.
Payments be correct was never a big deal for me until their service started to decline. Their front triage are not pleasant. The phlebotomist are amazing. Never have a problem when I'm in the back with them.
Csl plasma lies upfront about what you will receive in pay. Their technicians do not know what they are doing and have bad attitudes. I went 5 times for the promised 100 each time. The first time they stuck my arm 3 times because they are incompetent. The second time the same thing but when the machine returned the blood it went into my arm not my vein causing it to swell up. I had a bruise the size of my whole upper arm and it required me to wear a long sleeve shirt for two weeks while the giant bruise healed. So if you are desperate for money go to csl plasma but consider yourself warned they don't care about you and will cause you to look like some junky who shuts up drugs after they screw up your needle stick because they are rushed to go on lunch. They are understaffed and it shows in their performance. It's a place you go for a last resort but remember they don't care about you and will lie to get your plasma. They get paid 3000 for your donation the least they could do is not lie and be professional while acting like heroes that just use broke people and throw them away like trash. Don't make them money they don't deserve it switch donation locations and never go back to CSL Plasma the worst plasma donation company on earth. Zero stars should be an option for this scum bag place.
They payout has significantly decreased over time and it's sad. The payout should be more at least 100 every time with 150 being what you get the 1st two times donating
Everyone is always nice. The facility is always clean. It's been a good experience. They do thier best to get you in and out as quick as possible.
I tried donating, and was denied due to my blood pressure and told to come back the next day. Second day told the same thing. Third day I was given a form for my doctor and told I could not return without it.
They could have given me this the first or second time, or at least have told me what the blood pressure parameters are. They tell you about drug use and sexuality disqualifiers, but no info regarding parameters for blood pressure.
The "manager" was full of crap and unable to explain why this information was not available, and simply kept repeating herself about nonsense that was not my concern. The nurse mentioned an "inconvenience fee" that they could have given me, but the "manager" denied it, saying this was part of the process.
The drug use and sex partner screening is a joke. They will continue to cater to the obvious drug-addicts and prostitutes that frequent this place. Looking at their clientele, I hope I never NEED plasma.
Stay healthy, and STAY AWAY.
They are so friendly and gentle it's like home.very well cared for and respected I wouldn't change it for the world
CSL plasma is super clean. Staff is very professional and polite. Always greeted with a smile. The phlebotomists are very caring and always on top of things. Today my phlebotomist was Joe. He is very professional, with a good bed side manner. Usually I expect a pinch when the gaug needle is stuck in my arm, but not with Joe! Every time he sticks me I don't feel a thing! Joe is aces!
"The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I've had a good experience each time donating plasma.
It's a nice facility, clean and the staff are friendly. They make you feel at home. I recommend the gresham glossy location
Excellent place, staff wonderful, clean environment, fast pace, respectful employees, but no Twix lol
Angela Wood at CSL is so nice and does a great job. She knows what she's doing. She's always smiling. I enjoy going to see her she's so pleasant. Others also like mo, massiel, jill, kofi are so nice and professional. I really enjoy going there. And the place is always clean including the bathrooms.
Fast process great staff very people friendly staff would recommend them over every other plasma place in orlando
After my fourth time returning and jumping through their "Medical Hoops", I wasn't able to donate. Rushed to my doctor to have their paperwork signed and faxed back because,"our Doctor only comes on Friday at 6pm" was told he didn't sign it and we don't know why. It seems to me if you have my phone number and email address you would be able to let me know this instead of 4 consecutive times of telling me why not. I know there has to be better places then csl with better communication for their donors to go to.
STAY AWAY...
The people that work there is nice and kind and they talk to you and joke with your respect of you and they say hi
I went to the Lawrenceville ga. Site and thy were knowledgeable and professional. More importantly they were friendly. Teetee, one of the managers is absolutely awesome. She goes the extra step to help. I appreciate her as well as the other staff.
