I have booked several cruises through CruiseDirect and I have nothing bad to say about the booking process, prices, or customer service. I had an issue with a booking once (because I clicked the wrong date like an idiot) and I called them right away and everything was fixed with no questions. My most recent discussion with an employee was exceptional! Jorge Rodriguez was my representative and he was polite, prompt, and knowledgeable with the questions I asked. Wir haben jetzt schon das 2. Mal über cruisedirect.com unsere Kreuzfahrt gebucht und sind rundum zufrieden. Zusätzlich haben wir jeweils viel Geld sparen können, da die Kreuzfahrten bei cruisedirect wesentlich günstiger sind als in Deutschland. Zwar muss man sich dann mit der englischen Sprache auseinandersetzen, aber das war nie ein Problem.
Durch die Zeitverschiebung und hohe Telefon-Kosten von Deutschland in die USA haben wir bei Fragen immer das Kontaktformular bei cruisedirect auf der Homepage ausgefüllt und binnen weniger Stunden eine Antwort erhalten. Top! Somit hatten wir schnell unsere Antworten und mussten nicht in der Hotline hängen, die viel Zeit und Geld kostet.

I booked a cruise to Cuba with this company in April 2017. We had until June 2017 to pay this trip off. My travel buddy and I called repeatedly to make a payment on our cruise and they would not accept any payments stating that our cruise was paid in full. We communicated to them that that was not possible as my travel buddy had not paid her portion. They along with Norwegian communicated that no payments were needed because it was paid in full. On July 13th I happened to check my account and the amount for the cruise had been refunded and our cruise was cancelled with no communications from them on their end. I called them repeatedly to understand why this took place and they stated that their was a glitch in their system that didn't show the payment. They did not accept fault for this we were required to pay $400 more in order to book with Norwegian directly. NEVER will I ever use their services again!

I recently booked a cruise and I would check in periodically to see how the prices fluctuate as the sail date approaches. On this particular cruise, I noticed the price we paid for an interior stateroom was now the price for a balcony! I called Cruise Direct and spoke with Kyle who called Norwegian to see if they could upgrade our cabin at no charge because of the price change and I was pleasantly surprised when Kyle informed me that they upgraded us! I was very worried I would not be able to get a room on the Carnival Sensation for the date I needed and because we needed a cabin for 5 people.
