I left metro pcs after years to join cricket thinking it was a better option. The one time I needed an extension they readjusted my due date. I was only asking for a two day extension. My due date was reset from the 27 to the 23. Making me lose 5 days of service. I was gonna make my payment on the 29th in full. I called for assistance and all they did was screw me over. Now my bill is due on the 23rd way earlier than my pay day on the 29th . Don't bother Wasting your time with cricket. Customer service sucks.
I wouldn't go to cricket I spend last night and until 6.00 tonight trying to get my phones working after a hack are something and get this one was a tranfone and the other two was cricket I called and they told me to go to store and store said I don't know why they sent you here and when I asked to change my pin and password they didn't want to I will be leaving them at end of month
I went and bought a new phone for $256 I got home and the wifi on the phone didn't work so I took the phone back to return it 5 days later and they would only give me $200 back. The receipt says I have 7 days to get a refund and it had been 5. I would not recommend this company to anyone else.
Service is good, support at the store level, should be avoided if possible. Been working on porting my number, they could not do that. Got my phone cut off by consumer cellular they thought the number was ported. That was Friday, went back in to see if they could port my number on Monday. They could not, had to start with a new number, didn't get the free phone for porting. Try calling customer support, about a twenty minute wait, when you get a rep,you can't understand them. Will keep a good eye out on auto pay, company has many problem area's, will probably keep the account anyway, might be worse headache with another company.
I would warn others to not buy the Cricket wireless plan. My experience with their support has been a nightmare. I've had my service for a little over a month with great coverage and no problems...until I discoved why a lot people I called wouldn't pick up my calls. My caller ID is under someone else name, not mine. I think you can see the problem there. I've spent many hours on both chat and voice support at Cricket. They finally told me there was nothing they could do except to change my number for a fee of $16.00. When your number is changed, it takes days to notify everyone. The thing is, they guarantee your caller ID when you sign up. They do not honor their contracts.
We recently decided to switch carriers from cricket to spectrum after almost ten years with cricket. The quality of their customer service had been steadily declining and the people in the stores were completely clueless. My husband had purchased a new phone on the advice of one of the in store agents. It was the worst phone we ever owned. That was in September. My grandson purchased a new phone in October. Both phones were fully paid for. When my husband tried to exchange his phone for a better one, they said he'd have to buy a new phone. They refused to do an exchange. That's when we decided to change carriers. Cricket refuses to unlock the phones because they were purchased less than 6 months ago. I got my husband's phone back on by being forced to pay another $70. They refuse to turn my grandson's phone back on, saying now he has to wait 3 months. Mind you, they also refuse to unlock his phone. At this point his phone is in limbo, he can't get cricket to continue his service and Spectrum can't get him connected because his phone is still locked. If you don't mind being blackmailed, go with cricket. But don't buy a phone and then try to leave. And btw, they don't allow you to return phones that have been purchased online to the store. You have to send the phone back and wait for the replacement.
Luz is an amazing worker, she was so kind to us (and my son).
Also she remembered my boyfriend and I, she was smiley and funny and was just very informative. She knew what she was talking about for sure! I am so happy she was our helper and we are so grateful that she remembered exactly what we were going to be coming back for today! She is so sweet and I hope to get her every singe time we come back in to pay our bill Some of the best customer service I have ever had. Thank you missy!
I got my phone less than a month and have been having issues with it every since. I went to the store nobody could help me call customer service couldn't understand what none of their representatives were saying, all in all it was a very bad experience dealing with the company. I left AT&t a month ago and I am surely going back I would rather deal with their high prices than to deal with the phone company that is inadequate. I am currently a cricket customer but after this month I will no longer be
Called so many times to alert customer service of the incredibly horrible reception I've been having w my iPhone. Moving over to TMobile who has a much better network and customer service. Can't get a rep on the phone either. But rest assured they run my cc every month for their pitiful service. Can't and won't do this anymore. They do NOT deserve my business or yours. Just saying. Make the move to another, more reputable carrier. You'll be glad you did and you'll ask yourself why it took you so long to do so. I know I did!
Usually, employees are happy to see their customers because, after all, they're going to spend money. However, that was not the case with Cricket located at 1203 E Vine Street, Kissimmee on 10/5/22. My mom & I arrived and the storefront was littered to the point where we thought the location was closed. Upon closer inspection, they were open. We walked in and the only employee in the store greeted us unenthusiastically... perhaps because we interrupted his phone time. We told him of our problem with my mom's I-phone not working and that we wanted a new phone. We provided him with the phone number as he requested and he went to his PC to send us a code even though we had already told him the phone wasn't turning on. I asked him for a charger to see if we could get it to turn on and his answer was, "I don't know if we have chargers for I-phones here". Since I saw his demeanor and noticed he wasn't going to help us, I asked if there was another Cricket nearby and he replied: "I don't know. I'm not from around here, so I don't know". I was baffled at his attitude towards customers. I can't believe a company keeps that kind of employees. I don't care what you're going thru - if it's that bad, then stay home and don't report to work or stay in a back office away from customers. At that moment, I decided I was done with Cricket. I went to T-Mobile and got my mom a new phone. Good-bye Mr. I don't know & Cricket.
I just want to say that Joseph at Lacey Washington Cricket store was exceptional courtesy was shown not only to me but another customer. He made sure he got my ACP program up and Running another customer came in and said she recently had a stroke and would sit in her car to wait for him to be through with me and after me he went and got her from her car. Kudos to Joseph.
I went to Cricket to purchase a new phone. I already have Cricket service. It was very crowded on the Saturday I went and had to wait in line *******@5-10 minutes. Numerous people kept coming in. I met with Johnny. I am older, very technically challenged and get frustrated easily with technology. Johnny walked me through all iPhones available. I am on limited income and he did not try to upsell me to a more expensive phone. He asked many questions about how I use my phone. We finally selected a phone. He guided me in purchasing a case and screen protector combination which saved me a lot of money. In transferring my data from my old phone to my new phone, I forgot my Apple ID and started to get very impatient. Johnny calmly stated he would guide me through the whole process which he did. It took almost 2 hours to transfer all my data. I have trouble standing and Johnny found a chair for me to sit on while it was transferring. It took a lot of time but he kept helping other customers but kept coming back to me stating how the transfer was progressing and how much time was remaining. It finally was completed and I left the store to discover my apps were not downloading. I returned to the store very frustrated at this point after all the time I had spent in the store. Johnny helped me again by resetting some things on my phone to get my apps to download faster. THIS is why I continue to use Cricket. Your store was slammed on this day with 3 employees working but each customer was given undivided, individualized attention. I was never looked down upon for my lack of technology savvy but supported and encouraged through the whole process. Unfortunately, customer service is a dying art in today's retail sales market. NOT the case at this Fond du Lac location. Kudos to Johnny and the Fond du Lac team. This was superb customer service and I will never go anywhere else for service but Cricket. Keep up the good work. Fond du Lac is a leader in providing help to ALL kinds of customers!
My keyboard went out in January and twice after that. Worked for over hr. On FB with Tech and problem was not corrected. Found out others were having the same problem and it has not been fixed (SINCE JANUARY) Went to pay my monthly bill today (9/28/22)on the CRICKET phone and it logged me into their site, but stated there was a technical problem to come back later. Noted the same complaint from others. DON"T use CRICKET.
They don't take care of there customers, they hang up on you all the time and there customers service is horrible don't even know how they are still in business.
I am a very long time dedicated customer of cricket cell phone service.in the many years I have been a customer, I have literally had to buy at least 10 plus Cricket phones. They are junk! They all do the same thing everytime. They last about a year, then they keep malfunctioning over and over... you live in the Cricket phone store constantly trying to get these horrible phones fixed... the only reason I stay here is because they are a little cheaper monthly costs than other phone carriers... that's it! If they ever go up I will quit them in a minute. Very very fustrating and disappointing... A serious customer...
I'd give zero stars if possible. Used to be good, straight trash now! Will not unlock iPhone 13 bought in February, because I didn't have quite 6months more of service before moving to Verizon! Their customer service is garbage and they stole my $900 I spent on my new paperweight. Straight trash!
So I called because the system wouldnt allow me to pay me bill. Currently on hold to speak to manager and no one is answering. I am really starting to hate their services. One start only because I had to. Seems like they are getting worst.
Cricket needs to be shut down. The workers are not trained. They don't understand nothing that's going on with the devices. They are reading off a script. They need to shut their whole customer service dept DOWN‼
I needed a replacement phone I went to a Cricket Wireless location in Flagstaff AZ.
I told the young man that helped me my #1 requirement for a new phone was cordless charging ability.
He showed me a number of phones, I made my selection. I chose Samsung Galaxy A53 5G.
The price...$349.99 I also purchased a phone case and screen protector for a final bill
$499.26 (In retrospect I'm not certain I wasn't taken advantage of... RIPPED OFF?).
I got home set up my phone. The next day I started researching a cordless charger for my phone. I discovered none available as the $350 Phone that cost me $500 was not cordless charging capable.
I will recommend avoiding Cricket to anyone that asks
Answer: That's what they do best. Lie. When I first joined I was trying to get the New Customer deal. But they did not Honor it.
Answer: The bbb is definitely no help. Lawyers are out for themselves. Post the truth on every review platform you can. They work. Im a professional reviewer for a major home improvement warehouse and they do get results. Cricket is the worst company i have ever dealt with. Expose them
