Called about discrepancy in hotspot data usage, 1st call rep couldn't explain, asked for supervisor, call terminated. 2nd call, explained issue, rep couldn't explain, ask for supervisor, call terminated. 3rd call asked for supervisor right away, got put on hold for 50 minutes, then disconnected. Will be cancelling service soon.
Don't even try to reason with their clerks. They will just keep telling you what is on their script. Completely mindless morons with no customer service mindset whatsoever. Their Filipino accent at least is at least not too tough to understand
I had a separate hotspot plan. I canceled that plan with the understanding that I had 29 days to pay a $15 reactivation fee. 20 minutes later I had a change of heart and decided I wanted the hotspot. They charged me $70 on February 25th. They expect me to pay another $70 on February 27th. For a hotspot device that was canceled for 15 minutes, they expect me to pay for it twice for the month of February, PLUS a $15 reactivation fee. When I complained they offered me a $10 credit. When I spoke to the supervisor, he said there was nothing they could do.
They scammed me for an extra $70 and $15 reactivation fee, and then slapped me in the face by offering me 10 bucks. This was literally the worst customer service experience I've ever had, and I'm letting my service with them end in 2 days.
I have been a customer for years.bought several phones payed $1000 s in phone bills spent 2 hrs in store and 1 on the phone to get nowhere looks like it's time to say goodbye to cricket had my dl in the store for 2 days and never tried letting me know that they had them very disappointed in cricket
Bad customer service!, have fees for everything. Ima a new customer with auto pay, yet cricket made me pay a late fee. Signal is very bad. Internet is slow! And I'm paying "the highest". For sure won't be a cricket customer for long.
1) I got this phone for one, very-limited purpose and set it up on autopay. It was $30 per month for 5 years and I used it about 4 to 8 times a year! They made their money on me
2) They had some problem with the autopay credit card 4 months ago (it wasn't a balance issue because I have yet to come close to the balance on that card) and didn't notify me - or, rather, they SAY they notified me by texting the phone number on the account - THE PHONE WHICH THEY HAD CUT OFF SERVICE ON! They sent me NO other notices - by their own admission!
3) Their customer service is farmed out of country to places without English as a primary language and whose employees are so busy READING what they want to say to you that they can't LISTEN to the problem!
4) Now I have an emergency and I can't use the phone set up for that very purpose!

So check this out. I got a phone from Amazon.Went to cricket store to get a line. Eventually, sim card is working, BUT I cannot make a phone calls, to call someone. So the rep goes like, you need to wait like 20-30 min so the system will update your phone and everything will be fine. Waited for 20 min, in store, after NOT able to call, asked the rep for refund and rep goes we're prepaid PIECE OF $#*! SERVICES and for that reason there is no refund.So I left the store, removed sim card and was NOT using it at all and just two days I saw on bank account cricket charged me the full price for their PIECE OF $#*! SERVICES! Thugs...
Worst customer service ever paid my bridge pay amount phone was still turned off for several hours was stuck on the highway for hours with no phone… Called the very next morning spoke to 2 different customer service reps still got no where all I asked was to give me my account number so I can change service
They will tell you what you want hear, thats not true,once your billed,DO not do auto pay with cricket wireless they will rob your bank account,They are not to be trusted at all.

Has the right name, because they're definitely not straight with you. The app always breaks and they have a bunch of hidden charges and give you no breathing room.
They told me they would charge me an extra $10 but charged me an extra $50.
They might as well reduce customer service to just bots. Neither of them do a good job.
I have a 3 lines with cricket for 6-7 years. I needed to switch my phone number. So I dropped a line however at the same time. Added a line. I still at 3 lines. But, the rep said it was a $10 fee for the additional line. Which didn't make sense. I had 3 lines before the switch and 3 lines after. So I don't understand why I would be charged anything at all. Changes to a service should not cost a penny after being a loyal customer for 6-7 years...
Cricket customer service is garbage. Even the pathetic managers are uninformed. They are useless and a slave to a computer system no can manage. If their system makes an error you will be responsible for it with no empathy from their rude employees.
My son went into the one in Lamesa and paid to get his girlfriends phone added to his plan. He paid (78.00) for it but Cricket ended up locking her phone from previous provider and then my son couldn't do it, credit. You would think they would give the kids their money back (they paid cash) but the lady said she couldn't to call support. While there they called support but support told them they needed to talk to the manager. Manager called (2 days later) said it was nonrefundable. They kept his money for what, nothing was done-this is sorry and robbery-NEVER go to Crooked Cricket! :(. .went to T-Mobile :)
I get the 5 gb of the unlimited data plan. I've literally had my phone on WiFi for the past 3 days and yet I keep getting notifications of my data allowance is going down. Now. I was under the assumption that while on WiFi we are not using our data from the Network plan. Other than this issue I have not had any other problems with Cricket. I've only had this service for 2.5 months and thought my data was taken last moth eventhough I was connected to WiFi, but was not sure till this month when I was watching it very close.
The day before my billing cycle restarted, I ran out of mobile hotspot data. They say they don't cut it off just throttle it, but it is literally unusable if you run out. So I was looking to get a little more data. They have such a service, and I clicked on it. A message popped up telling me that due to my next billing cycle being so close, the cost of this service would be $0.00. "I'll take that deal, " I thought. I was a long time loyal customer who always paid my bill, and my hot spot data would literally start over the next day with no rollover. Two days later, my cellphone service was suspended and I was being asked for a $15 reactivation fee plus $10 for the hotspot data that I had for less than a day and didn't use 90% of. I called customer service and got a foreign call center where the agent explained that it only said it would cost me $0.00 because they secretly took the $10 out of my next month's payment, making my autopay short for the next month. Although I tried to explain multiple times that you can't tell a customer you'll give them a service for free and then charge then for it later, she just kept repeating the techical aspects of why it happened. She offered to refund the reactivation, but insisted I pay the $10. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she put me on hold for 10 minutes until the call dropped. I called back and got a different CS agent, and the conversation repeated exactly as before, except this time I got through to a supervisor after being put on hold. After having the same conversation with him, he offered to waive the $10 if I paid the $15 reinstatement fee. This was getting worse! I agreed to pay $10 get my service turned back on, but told him I was escalating my complaint. Cricket Wireless is perfectly willing to lose a longtime customer over $10! Not to mention this unethical if not illegal business practice.
Upgrade charges A13 cost $170, could bought at walmart or online for $50. Phone drops calls. Suspended my phone after deducting my monthy charges for $10 ins. Charges that I never agreed to. I had pay $14 turn phone back on. They lie and have terrible service.
If I could rate zero stars I would. The customer service people in the stores are no help at all if you call with a problem. If you go in to the store there is normally 1 person there who knows what they are doing. The others are dead weight. The service works less than half the time. Often times my phone shows that I have full signal and active 4G but my phone says I have "no internet connection" same way on the phone calls. The phone shows signal but I can't connect to make a call. I have been using cricket for a few years now and the service is worse than it has ever been. I purchased 15 gigs of mobile hotspot and the cricket app wouldn't let me pay the $10 for it. It FORCED me to put it on my bill. Then when the bill auto drafted out it only took the normal payment and not the additional for the hotspot. So then I had to pay a $30 reconnect fee because of a $10 charge that cricket would not let me pay. So in my opinion... Cricket dropped the ball and I had to foot the bill by having my phones turned off for a day and having to pay an additional $30 reconnect fee. I hate paying for a service that doesn't work but now I'm outright being robbed. Never using cricket again. Not recommended.
Cricket wireless is terrible and a waste of money. If you're having device issues, the dumbass Indians from customer support will hang up on you after you've waited 30+ minutes on hold. Service is trash, constantly having to restart my devices to attempt to reconnect to internet.
This place is amazing and took care of everything I needed! Great, knowledgeable staff! I didn't know that service in blythe was this good!

Answer: That's what they do best. Lie. When I first joined I was trying to get the New Customer deal. But they did not Honor it.
Answer: The bbb is definitely no help. Lawyers are out for themselves. Post the truth on every review platform you can. They work. Im a professional reviewer for a major home improvement warehouse and they do get results. Cricket is the worst company i have ever dealt with. Expose them
