This company is awful they have no regards for the clients. I got service with them because my husband said he liked this company. The problem started with sim card it was not working properly. When I contacted them they said it wasn't the Sim card. They said to turn off the phone and it should be working. But the problem kept happening, I told them it was the Sim, on customer service agent said to take it to the store and that they needed 100% proof that it was the Sim card. When I told the I had no network that meant it was the Sim card tell guy said fine then go to the store and buy a new one. So now I have to spend another 10.00 dollars for a new card. Really unbelievable, I was getting even more upset. Finally after 2 months of constant problems I terminated my services but they didn't disconnect my line so they charged our credit card for the two lines. When I called to complain they told me that they cou ll don't reimburse me the extra money. They would credit it to my husband account. But when I was transferring my old # to the new company the agent said she would do me a favor and reinstated my line at no charge for 24 hours so I could transfer my old number. But then I found out that they took the credit they had given us before. And when I talked to Juan the supervisor at cricket he said that to reinstate the line I had to pay 25.00 dollars. Can u belive that CRAP! So now I paid 25 for 24 hours. And this people are rude and could care less if the screw u over. And their favorite word is NO! Everything u ask is no they will screw you in a heartbeat. I would never recommend this company to anyone. It's the absolute worst.
First I had to wait almost an hour before being helped by the only employee...I brought my own new phone with me to sign up with cricket...I asked to have my new phone set up and she assured me she would also move my contacts from my old phone to the new...after inputting my information in her computer she had put most of my information in incorrect..I've been in the store for an hour and half..I asked her if the process was about done and she assured me it was...she gave a total cost of 77.49 and asked me to pay which I did with a debit card...then she tells me she couldn't figure out how to transfer my contacts and that I would have to do that myself...I asked if moving my contacts was part of what I paid for and she said yes however she didn't know how to do that...I asked to get my money back and was told that would not be possible...her exact words were they only take money in not refund....I left and contacted her manager and again requested my money back and he said they have a no refund policy and I was getting nothing back...I guess I learned a 78.00 lesson trying to save a little...my suggestion is to stay away from cricket...very low class business...

I signed up with Cricket Wireless on 6/7/18. I was having issues with my former wireless company (Total Wireless). Constantly getting dropped calls! I would have to stand in one place in my house to talk. So frustrating! A friend of mine said she had Cricket Wireless and never had an issue with dropped calls. Having a store right up the street from me was very convenient so I decided to have my service switched over. I have a Samsung Note 3, which I love. Did not want to switch phones. It took quite a long time to get everything transferred over but I was patient. After the transfer was complete, my internet was not working at all. I was told to wait about an hour or two and it should be on. After speaking with his DM he was told that it was a delay with the transfer, nothing to worry about. I was not reassured. I figured what's an hour or two. Six hours passed and no internet. I decided to call another Cricket Wireless store at 5162 Pearl Rd. Not knowing if someone could help, I explained my situation. Dean was more than helpful and put my mind at total ease. He said that's not an issue. All he had to do was download the internet and it would work. I was so excited that I drove over to the store and Dean focused all of his attention on making sure my phone was working perfectly and never made me feel like I was a burden. He deleted things I did not need. I asked tons of questions and they were all answered to my satisfaction. He put all of my pictures in a photo album. He said my gallery pictures could be deleted and it would save my battery from draining too quickly. I spend an hour and a half in the store, not once being told the store closes at 8 pm. I left there close to 8:30pm. I can't tell you how happy I was with Dean's superb customer service! He's one in a million! Keep up the good work!
I brought my phone in to get Cricket service. They did the test and said my phone would work. I can't get voicemail. Now they want to tell my phone is not compatible and that I will still be charged 87.00. The saleperson threw my sim card away too. I told that I need to go back to store that I got the services from. They also lied about calling me back to let me know they provide my phone voicemail. There's no record of the calls on my phone. This is unacceptiable. They just want you money. Please be careful with these guys. They will tell you your phone will work then they don't want to give you your money back. I am a veteran and this is the kind of service that I get. Will be going back to my old provider. No wonder they provide cheap deals. BEWARE
HORRIBLE customer service! I referred 2 people to cricket in September and cricket never mentioned the referral credit you can get, which they had at that time. NO emails, texts, nothing! I logged into my account a few days ago and saw they are giving you credit if you refer people to them, i got texts, emails. I called them and mentioned i had referred 2 people cricket and i cant tell you how many people i've talked to and how many different answers i got as to why i cannot get my credit. I was promised a supervisor would call me at a time i requested and no one called me. I will never refer anyone to cricket again.
After reviewing our phones and promising they could provide service... they didn't, they couldn't, and they refused to refund our money. They kept insisting they wanted another four days or more to "create a ticket" and then they would start to see if they could provide the service. Meantime, of course, we were expected to pay full price and do without phones. Went back to another provider which got our phones up and working instantly. AVOID! Cricket is incompetent and they are dishonest.
Worst customer service with a phone carrier. After a network upgrade, i could not place any calls. I went to the store and the considerate gal there tried to explain to the person at corporate that i was not the only one having issues. Cricket did not fix the problem and did not refund any money i spent for a new sim card and a new phone.
Spoke with Chelsea Bell who thought it was appropriate to start the professional email to follow my complaint "GM!". As well Shakib Hoque emailed me today, it is not a customer based company, I lost data, had to pay to have my first malfunctioning phone sent out, never received a credit for the days missed, time spent, now the replacement has the same issues I've only been a customer of cricket 6 months now, this company really treats you insignificantly the no would not have been as difficult if the leads in Atlanta that contacted me had an ounce of tact and professionalism. AT&T truly has better service#BoycottCricket can't appreciate your consumers then you deserve none. Simple.

Cricket after tearing up a phone on my account, then refusing us upgrades we could afford, thanks to their bait and switch scheme. Display phones under $100 then refuse to sell them, "we only sell phones priced $100 and up" several reps told us that. One moron said "pay $100 for a phone and it will last you 100 years" I told him he was an idiot. Let's see hmm $375 plus taxes and fees to stay with Cricket or $90 for service plus taxes and fees plus 3 free $150 phones. Total cost $150. Yes, we switched to Metro PCS and you should too!
This is one of the worst customer services experiences that I have ever had. My phone melted. I have been trying to get it replaced for over hour. I have been transferred 7 times, placed on hold and disconnected. Still trying to get through. RUN!
I ordered Cricket service and brought my own device which they said was compatible. Tried the first Sim card, after countless chats and troubleshooting Sim card was invalid. The rep suggested it was the Sim card and to buy another one and they would credit my account. Second Sim card, same thing. They suggested the phone wasn't unlocked, checked with my previous carrier twice, they assured me it was unlocked. Tried to cancel Cricket service and get a refund. They said there was no proof the Sim card wasn't good, had I tried another phone from Cricket. Of course, the whole deal was they wanted me to buy one of their phones! They wouldn't do a refund. So I've spent over $50 for a service I never used. Writing the corporate office now, wish me luck.
I had an old phone brick on me and so I ordered a Note 5 from ATT. Put a cricket sim card in it and the wifi hot spot wouldn't work. I called Cricket and they said we don't support the Note 5 with wifi hotspot and you'll have to buy one of our phones. So I go to a cricket store after I called and she said she had the phone I wanted. She goes in the back and sure enough, they are out of stock. We call around and the next day I drive 25 miles to the closest store that had the phone. I got the phone, activated it, and wifi hot spot didn't work. I went BACK and they said oh no, you have to add wifi hot spot. So I do that and wifi hotspot works. I got a wild idea and put my sim card back in my Note 5. And Viola! Wifi hot spot works. I go BACK to that cricket store a 3rd time to return the brand new phone I never used and had like 30 min. She says that she can't take it back. The first cricket store told me I had 30 days. She calls the manager and they said that I had "buyers remorse" and would charge me 25 dollar restock fee and I would not get back the 25 dollar "upgrade" fee which wasn't an upgrade at all. So I paid 138 dollars total and would get back 75. I said you people are nuts I'll sell this brand new phone on Ebay for more than that. They are lying, deceiptful people. Tell me I had buyers remorse for a phone I didn't even want. If they would have added the hot spot I wouldn't have wasted 2 days with all this. I would avoid cricket if I were you.
I order service and phone on friday! Monday order was canceled! No one was able to explain why order was canceled (even though my card was charged without any problem)! Straight talk is well worth the extra $10 amonth!
Cricket sucks. My phone stopped working and because insurance was bought for it I thought I would get it in the 3 to 5 days like they said. Wrong. It's been over a month and they haven't sent it to me. We've been on the phone for hours trying to get this new phone and it still hasn't arrived. My brother's phone broke after mine and he got his sooner because his phone was under the manufacturer's warranty, while I was basically punished for keeping my phone for over a year. The first phone they sent after 2 to 3 weeks was under my mother's phone number and the one they just sent us and we just got (that we had to send to an alternate address because they've tried to send the correct phone to us twice now) was under my father's number. They can't get me my phone and I'm damn tired of it. Never trust these people and never get insurance for your phone from them.
Before switching from Verizon to Cricket, explained my needs at the Burnsville, Mn. Store, told them that I would need to port over my current cell number then later add a line to my account and port over my business land-line from Frontier communication. A few months after signing on, I went to add that second line, I dialed 611 customer service, explained my situation asked if my new phone could support 2 numbers, was told I'd have to get a phone with to sim cards from an outside source, cricket offered none, or just add the new line, get a free second phone for an additional $30 monthly. Went back to local store, was then told by salesperson that cricket couldn't port over any land-line numbers, they're owned by another carrier that wouldn't allow this, called 611 again and was told the same despite what being previously told. Called land-line carrier and was told by them no problem to do so, law requires that can be done. Been back and forth numerous times with cricket stores and customer service with no success, spoke to other cellphone carriers explaining my needs, they claim to have no problem porting over a land-line number. Went back to store to cancel service and get a refund on the upgraded phone I spent $150 on plus additional accessories, I was told to go pound sand. Horrible company, store sales clerks and customer service department are imbeciles! Got screwed and didn't even get s reach around...
Enjoyed that $5 late fee because it cost them my service completely forever Boost Mobile never charge me a late fee ever even if I renewed it the day after but I guess Cricket is money hungry and dolgin jackasses so guess what enjoy your $5 bonus for my late fee last month because you lost me completely as a customer anyone out there you want a good service I had boost for many years and decided to try someone new should never have done it I had great service with them and I'm back with them got a great phone a free phone I mean a really good what I was shocked way better than the phone I bought from cricket upgrade trust me so now I'm back and I'm very pleased goodbye eat me you'll never see another Penny out of my pocket

Cricket is the worst, and the CSR's are uninformed and rude! We switched one of our 2 Cricket kid's lines to Verizon today. We were told that everything went through and we were good to go, so they cancelled our 1 Cricket line we requested. Well, the "port # switch" didn't end up going through successfully, so in order to successfully switch the phone number over to Verizon, Cricket wanted us to pay a $45 reactivation fee to reactivate the phone (for 2 seconds) to switch the phone # over to Verizon correctly. They were very rude and unhelpful, after they turned the line off in the first place, because we were "good to go." After spending 2.5 hours on the phone with a Cricket CSR and a Verizon CSR simultaneously, we said f u very much and ended up cancelling the other line with Cricket as well.
Answer: That's what they do best. Lie. When I first joined I was trying to get the New Customer deal. But they did not Honor it.
