I had an uncanny, unforgettable (not in a good way) experience there earlier today (Sunday around 1:15).
There was a group of 4 or 5 Latino men (none of whom was wearing a mask) with an apparent leader, who was talking to the lady at the counter (Ms. Aisha Sanchez). So far so good, I thought, I will wait until my turn comes, and pay my bill, then be on my way. So 10 minutes into my wait, I kindly ask Ms. Sanchez - Can I pay my bill, and not wait until this customer is done? To which she responded with "One second!". Now this was a ridiculous statement, to which I replied - One second is ten minutes or more, maybe? Which she ignored. Another 15 minutes later (after a 30 minute or so wait) I was commenting with another customer, and she looked at me and yelled: You must go to another store, you have no respect for me! Get out of here, I will report you to my manager!
It seems to me that she was very frustrated - I cannot tell for what reason, but she was very, very slow in making progress in her transaction with this group of 4 Latinos. She acted as the "queen of the kingdom" in a very arrogant and impolite manner. It also appeared that she was not willing to service anyone who was not a Latino, which, totally pissed me.
In conclusion, I have to say that even though Cricket offers a good phone service, people like Ms. Sanchez give the company a bad name for customer service. She is is a very slow, inefficient, biased and impolite person. She has little understanding of good service and efficient work. If all services in Atlanta were like that we would be living in a virtual Mexico, where there is no respect for customers at all. Fortunately for all of us, other locations have a better grip on service and the way it works. As for myself, I will never set foot in this location anymore - I will gladly cede it to the Latinos, so they can have fun there for as long as they please.

August 10, 2020

They charged me $55 for no reason, when I called to figure out what was going on They kept repeating the same thing, which was off topic, and telling me pretty much there's nothing they can do. Very upset, horrible customer service, robs their customers.

Bad service
July 25, 2020

Shady dealings. STAY AWAY FROM CRICKET! I PURCHASED A NEW PHONE FROM THE WEBSITE AND PAYED FOR INSURANCE BUT THEY DID NOT HONOR IT, IN FACT THEY CANCELLED OT ON THIER END AND SAID I MUST HAVE CANCELLED IT. I HAVE THE PAID RECIPT. THAT IS WHAT THESE PEOPLE OUTSOURCED FROM INDIA ARE PAYED TO READ TO YOU. FORGET CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU WILL GET NOWHERE! They kept saying I was supposed to sign up when the phone was new. I went back and forth with them telling them I did sing UP and paid for it. Must have been a language barrier... INSURANCE IS A SCAM ANYWAY. PAY 8 DOLLARS A MONTH? 96 DOLLARS A YEAR AND A DEDUCTABLE OF 75 TO 150 DOLLARS... WHAT A JOKE! IM GLAD THEY MESSED UP. Must be nice to pay some outsourced people in india 3 dollars an hour to basically not help their longtime customer and call them liars and make snyde remarks. Forget this company that doesn't make jobs for americans... go to a more reputable company I would suggest. #cricketwireless #scams #CricketNation

I've experienced the worst phone service with this company. They added services that I didn't request, they overcharged me, they didn't unlock my phone due to shady practices. You should never pay a dime to this company unless you want to be scammed by them. Stay away!

I ordered a phone on May 1,2020. Because my shipping and billing address was required to be the same, I tried to call after placing my order to let Cricket know that. Their website even says to do so. These people sent the phone to the wrong address anyway, and now they refuse to refund my money. I've been hung up on, lied to, and given the run around. They told me about 2 weeks ago that they issued a refund. I called my bank, and they know nothing about it. It is now June 10,2020, and they still won't give my money back. I've never been so dissatisfied with a company in my life.

I had service with cricket for 2 years many years ago. When I left the company for a better service I spent HOURS on the phone trying to get my fully paid for phone unlocked which was eligible according to their terms and agreements. They put me on hold and transferred me more than a dozen times. The last time they put me on hold and kept checking, hoping I would hang up so they wouldn't have to deal with me. After nearly 3 hours, they realized I wasn't giving up and gave me the damn code I needed to unlock it. Now I am attempting to unlock a phone that was fully paid for that I received from a friend and they are telling me they can't determine if the phone has been "reported" nor can they look it up. I am willing to pay to have it unlocked, but they have no way to tell this. I know this is BS and laziness because I have been able to do this with other companies. The employee was unwilling to even attempt. Stay far away from this company. I recommend Metro as they listen and act on customer needs rather than ignore and avoid!

Scam shady company
May 14, 2020

When I went to join Cricket, I went for the free phone for new customers, they did NOT honor that. They are a bait and switch company. Will not upgrade your phone either! Metro PCS does both honor their sales AND upgrade your phone. Cricket needs to be SHUT DOWN

Don't get your service here, they don't care About loyal customers! At the time of this pandemic other wireless companies have stepped up and offered anywhere from 30 to 90 days free service. Cricket offered me $20 off a $100 bill I make every month for 3 years after I told them I wasn't working! Go to metro or boost way better customer service.

False Advertising
April 24, 2020

When purchasing 3 upgrades yesterday I selected 2 Samsung phones and a Moto G7 Supra. Upon checking out the price came up 40 more than the sign next to the display. When I brought this to the employees attention, she called 2 different people including her district manager. I heard the district manager over the speaker phone tell the employee not to honor the displayed price. She was threatened that the difference would come out of her paycheck since new signs were supposed to be displayed. I purchased the phone anyway and spent $400 on upgrades. If this is Crickets idea of customer service, I will not be with them much longer.

Disappointed,

Jason

It seems cricket corporate goes out of their way to provide suck service. You get a good price on the product, but the service is terrible. I HATE Cricket! Any disputes, resolutions, change of payments require a 10 mile trip. The store personnel do a good job, but Cricket corporate is worthless. Try and find a number to reach a real person at corporate. All they want is your $$$$$, screw you is their mantra. I guess there is some truth in the saying, "you get what you pay for." Look seriously for other providers if you expect some semblance of concern. The ONLY concern they have for the cutomer is getting their $. I wish that they would call me.

Pandemic profiteers!
April 14, 2020

I upgraded my phone and Cricket sent me one that didn't work. As there is no open store during the pandemic, you have to take care of everything over the phone. After wasting a combined 4 hours waiting, and ultimately talking to 6 people, all of whom sent me to dead ends, I realized they were making it impossible to send my phone back. I disputed the charge through my credit card company, and Cricket turned off all four phones on my account, indicating I did not pay my monthly charge, which is automatically taken out every month. They are the worst kind of corporation!

I called customer service on 4/5/20 to extend my bridge pay but the agent failed to do his job after I paid the 20.00 for bridge pay so my phone was disconnected due to non payment. So I had my services restored on 4/6/20 to only loose 20.00 and pay the full balance. Then I called back to pay to only be told I don't owe anything. 2 days later get a text saying I owe so I get punished because of there mess up and beat me out of my money for a second time

I wanted to get a copy of my call logs to see how often a debt collector had been contacting me to report them for violating the law. Cricket wouldn't give me my own call log without a subpoena. I used to have Verizon and could view my call log anytime I wanted. Cricket tells me that I have to get a lawyer and a subpoena to get a copy of my own phone records. It's ridiculous.
