Sent me a message with my name and phone number to upgrade for free won't honor it then sent a different message saying they randomly sent it plus customer service is not helpful.
I just want to say they are inconsiderate the whole company very unprofessional and they under pay..
Every other company will give you a grace period of a few weeks to pay your bill. An unexpected big expense came out of my account that drained it. I now have no service until payday. There really needs to be a grace period on payments not 11:59pm the day it's due. That's ridiculous.
I switched to cricket wireless because they told me it came with a 1 year Sam's club membership and the 60 dollar a month plan for 10 dollars a month through the EBB program. After they said I was approved I walked out of the store satisfied only to receive a 60 dollar bill a month later. When I called they said there was nothing they could do about it and still no sams club. Scam
After 5 years and 5 lines of service, they start phasing our 3G and abandoning all my devices. After randomly hijacking my calls for months and sending me to their sales department instead of the people I called, they finally promised that I could upgrade 3 of my devices at a discount and I would also get 2 5G phones free. Now that I have purchased 3 new phones with them and received 1 free device, they are refusing to honor the 2nd free device promise. Now I am stuck and can't afford to switch to another company because of the money I have spent to stay with them. Their support team, whom I have talked with for hours over the past week, says I'm just out of luck. They lie to keep you as a customer, then don't care when there is nothing you can do about it. I would never recommend this crooked company to anyone regardless of how cheap the service is.
Paid my bill went yo use the phone to get help for my child that is extremely sick has 3 diseases and they canceled my account. Call customer service they claim 2 days before I pd my bill it was switched to another carrier which I fid not authorize. Now I don't have a phone after paying 200.00 for the phone I bought from them. Told me it could ask up to 45 days to get my phone back on. What a. I suppose to fo now, if this happened before my bill was due why not cancel then. EASE DONT EVER BUT FRIM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. I did however turn this over to my laywer, have something done.Im not playing with these people,. It's the holidays and can't afford a new phone and service which I shouldn't have to. WORST PHONE COMPANY!
Been with them for over 5 years they don't go to the extreme in helping you like they use to which is now I know alot of people are leaving them and going to a different carrier I'm going back to MetroPCS. Thanks for giving sending my account number through text when I payed my bill.
This is awful I bought 4 phones in 10 months n I still owe money n they some how messed my SIM card up and is Makin me paying for a another sim n the man hung up he didn't want to deal wit the issues why this is messed up I deserve a worker who gonna help the customer
I was on autopay and they took my payment for the next month's service. 5 days into the new month, I changed cell companies. I called asking for the money back for the remaining days after i quit using their service. I spoke to a guy and a supervisor in customer service and they both said they don't give refunds when a person quits using their service. Since I ported out the number, it negates everything. I actually ported the same number from another company to cricket in the first place, so it was not their original phone number to begin with. I have switched cell services before in the middle of a billing cycle and have always received the refund due for any days that was not used.
After being a Cricket wireless customer for close to 10 years, I began to receive notices from them that 4 out of 5 phones on our plan would not work after February due to them discontinuing 3G. All 5 phones on our plan are 4GLTE phones. Yesterday, they suspended my phone and turned it into a worthless brick. I called them this morning and spent 14 minutes on the line with a woman who clearly was speaking some dialect of English that I could not understand before being abruptly disconnected. A while later, my wife called them and spoke with a gentleman about why my phone was suspended. He told her that my phone was not compatible with the Cricket network. She tried to explain that I had been using my phone on Cricket for about four years. After repeating that fact over and over, she was told that my phone was incompatible with the Cricket network and that I would have to purchase a new phone. She told him that if my phone would not work with Cricket anymore that we would be switching to another network. He then said that he would reactivate my line and that I should turn my phone off and back on. Just like magic my phone was working on the Cricket network again. We will be switching networks soon.
I bought a new phone from them, and asked if I could temporarily unlock the phone, because I had to travel abroad. They said, they can't do that.
Then, I asked if I could unlock the older phone, that I bought 8 months ago with them but never activated, so that I could use it. They said, they can't help because it has to be in service for 6 months. I told them, it crossed 6 months already by the time I bought. They said there is no exception for anything. I don't think I am buying any phones with them again. Their price is only like $50 cheaper then in the market, but on top of that they charge $25 activation fee. So, it is pretty much the same price.
Most importantly their customer policies are very rigid and can't go an inch further to assist the legitimate customer requests. I hope they change.
I have tried several times and multiple methods to contact customer service to speak to somebody about the 3G network that will be turned off Feb 2022. The people who answer the phone are NOT inside the U.S., are therefore hard to understand, and do not have a grasp of technical details of network architecture within the U.S. If you are placed "on hold" you will NOT get any answers. If you ask to speak to somebody inside the U.S. you will NOT get any answers. If you ask to speak to a supervisor you will NOT get any answers. If you try the chat option on the website you will NOT get ANY response from a person anywhere. There is NO email address available to communicate with the company. The local Cricket Wireless stores cannot answer technical questions related to the 3G network discontinuation or any problems related to coverage/ service as a result. I gave Cricket 1 star because 0 was not an option. It is shameful that corporations have little to no regard for customer service these days. Not all questions/ concerns can be addressed by a website or App.
The absolute worst provider I have ever dealt with. I ported my number from RedPocket Mobile this last Sunday 10-3-21. The port would not go through it took four days. I bought the newest BLU G91 Pro smartphone where Cricket IS LISTED ON THE BLU WEBSITE as a compatible provider. My phone finally started working properly yesterday 10/5/21. I call a family member this morrning. Right after I hung up I receive a text from Cricket saying the phone was not compatible and service had been terminated. Ok, so I go to the store in Great Falls, MT I am mad at this point, but was not just rude. The guy basically tell me the phone is NOT compatible and cannot be reactivated on their network. Really? So, I said ok I want a full refund for the service seeing how I have not had any. I was told I would have to call. I call Cricket and am pretty much told they do not GIVE REFUNDS Really? That guy needs to find him another job, and AT&T needs to shut cricket down. I worked at AT&T OK, and have forgotten more about phones than you will ever know. I also own a business. T-Mobile had it handled in thirty minutes. THE WORST I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH ZERO STARS. Oh, and my credit card company has already initiated a chargeback Cricket. STAY FAR AWAY! My new T-Mobile business line works just fine.
I went to cricket to upgrade my phone ask for my monthly charger to be add in cost me 109 dollars sad part they didn't have the phone sent me to another store young looked at my receipt advise me my monthly payment was not paid so I ask for a refund they charge me for a upgrade fee which I didn't ever get the new phone sadly to say my old phone was turned off an I had to buy a new Dim card which cost another 10 dollars call the cricket customer service they told me dont worry my monthly payment would be taken care of an it wasn't the next day customer service said why would they pay it... NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL BAD BUSINESS
I've been a cricket customer for 14years there phones suck prices are ridiculous an they actually have the nerve to put an foreign person on the line who you can hardly understand like please give me an American who I can understand when I'm dealing with my money they had to audacity I spoke to customer service on the 27th of September they gave me a whole wrong due date of the remaining bridge payment a whole total different price so when I spoke to customer service they were arrogant nasty and then she just repeated the exact same thing that I was discussing with the guy that I was on the phone with before I said I wanted to speak to the manager and guys she totally repeated the exact same thing that I was telling them and it all boiled down to it of not I'm sorry that one of our customer service agents gave you the wrong price or I'm sorry one of our customer ages gave you the wrong due date will try to fix that nothing no compassion anything and I'm talking about I've been with them I started my job in 2008 2009 or 10 and this is 2021 and this is what a company does to you of being a loyal customer for that many years sad right yeah that's what I said
Literally worst customer service experience in my entire life. And I'm super chill about bad customer service, but this is crossing a line. My boyfriend broke his phone 5 days ago and we have been trying to replace it since, I have been the main one dealing with it since I'm the only one with a phone, so they were supposed to send it the next day and they put the address in wrong so it never delivered and they sent it back to the sender in Texas, we live in Seattle. I tried calling UPS, and cricket, they both told me they couldn't change the address. So finally it gets back to the sender. Now I have to get his mom on the phone with me to approve his phone getting reshipped even tho it was THEIR PROBLEM. So everything seems all good they seem to be sending it back but then I have to fill out an affidavit and submit a photo of his moms ID. Ridiculous. To remedy THEIR MISTAKE. It's literally the most complex confusing process for such a simple problem like replacing a $#*!ing phone. I cried on the phone multiple times because nobody would even help me. I literally cannot say a good thing about this dog $#*! company. Do not give them your business
Been a Cricket customer for 4-5 years now never had a problem with their service or coverage area as a matter of fact I get better coverage than my girlfriend who has Sprint, The reason for my pour review is cause Cricket allowed me to place a protection plan on a ( bring your own device) and I've been paying this for over 2yrs. Not to mention I've always had protection plan on the other 3 devices on my wireless plan, so my "bring your own device got damaged and I filed for a claim to get my phone screen fixed which has a deductible of $29 not a big deal but Cricket denied my claim, they wanted me to upgrade my device and pay $300 which I refused cause I didn't need an upgrade I just wanted the phone I had and have the screen replaced long story short they denied my claim, I went to get my phone fixed in my own and paid $297 out of pocket its frustrating how these big companies work and never want to loose out!
I checked with the on the internet with Cricket they said my phone was compatible I went and bought a new SIM card and a plan and now they say it's not compatible now I'm stuck with $60 worth of nothing Cricket Wireless sucks I would not recommend recommend them to nobody eat s*** cricket
Cricket is horrible the service sucks $#*! they charge you extra $5 for reactivation fee. I'm switching back to Metro PCS because when your bill is due they give you a 72 hour extension for your text and call Cricket has none of that they just turn off your phone and charge u 5 extra bucks.
