Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel in Fort Wayne Alabama is convenient for breakfast off of Route 59. The service is good, the food is good BUT the coffee is terrible. My wife and I were served on December 9,2023.

I've only ever been here a couple of times but I think I'll make it a more regular spot. My husband and I walked into a very busy restaurant this morning and I could not believe how quickly we were served. It was almost as though the food was waiting for us before we ordered. Just because it was fast does not mean the quality was jeopardized in any way, everything was cooked perfect, it was all so good I have zero complaints. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, I will be coming back.

My husband and I are always traveling on Thanksgiving and have enjoyed thanksgiving meals for the past 20 years with Cracker Barrel. This year again traveling we ordered our meal and wish we would have had somewhere else to dine. It was the worst meal I believe I have ever had with this company and it seems over the past few years it continues to decline. I only hope they can pull the company out of decline and come back to what they once were. Next year we'll do a frozen meal before we eat a thanksgiving meal like this years.

Very disappointing visits recently… food very poor quality. Service poor why bother asking if everything is ok if you do nothing about it… management need to get on this asap……

My family of 8 went here after church yesterday and it was busy but we asked for biscuits ahead of time to keep the little ones 2 and 4 occupied had to ask 3 times before we got any then we asked for drink refills 3-4 times never got any it was coffee tea and coke had to pay a high price for no refills! Food came and I asked for cheese in eggs had 2'square cheese slices on top of eggs that's not in eggs like usually it was not good! Hash brown breakfast casserole same way they had 4 cheese slices on top not good at all! Food overall not good I could go
On but won't husband ate food with no coffee she never did come back and to get ticket took 20 min! My sister had to take 2 year old to car he wouldn't wait any longer! So I paid for hers and so did my niece I found out when I went

Both have to prove we paid by printing off bank accounts sheets and show them we both paid or they wouldn't give us 16.37 back so dumb! I've never had to do that anywhere! We
Won't be back to mattoon Illinois Cracker Barrel and that's sad! They could do much better guess they don't care about customers anymore so sad!

Menu is wrong on the net so all's I can is me and my mom got sick and I am still sick if you know what i mean.

On November 24th myself and 3 others went to Cracker Barrel in Greenville NC. Ashley was our waitress she brought out cold pancakes without syrup.My friend ordered corn muffins which came to the table late.The fried apples came out late. November 25th my friend and I went back surprisingly we got the same waitress. We had to ask for napkins. Again I ordered pancakes only received one container which wasn't enough, my friend ordered corn muffins which came out late.The waitress never made her way back to the table to inquire if everything was ok. My daughter was a waitress in her younger years and she would say a good waitress will follow up to make sure you're satisfied as a customer. She needs to thank her lucky stars I didn't pay, therefore I didn't have to leave the tip.

The last two times we have been to the Cracker Barrel in Plainfield Indiana the food has not been good. The first one was no cream cheese in my husbands crepes and we waited on silverware awhile after we got our food. This time our fish and fried chicken were way over cooked and Mac and cheese had been watered down with milk. All the staff were VERY nice and sweet, but the food has just gone downhill. We are hoping if we try another location it will be better. But we'll give it one more try

I ordered 2 Thanksgiving Meals to go from the Mesquite Store. The sweet potatoes were thinner than gravy with no flavor. The 2 very small slices of turkey were so dry and hard. The dressing exactly 3 tablespoons had 0 flavor and so dry. I got a side of dumplings that only had 1 and 1/2 dumpling in there and the green beans tasted straight out of the can still cold. I would be embarrased to charge anyone 29.97 for what I got. Hospital food would have been much better. I added a picture of their 2 slices of turkey.

Dressing used to come in a large pan, already mixed. Now, it comes in 2 small rectangular pans, and have to mix it yourself. Paying 27 bucks for this small portion. Pathetic and not worth it. I will never order this from themagain. They gotta do better.

While I usually like Cracker Barrel's suppers, one in particular isn't good at all. I'm speaking of the Chicken Pot Pie. It had such an unusual taste. Neither me or my friend could place the odd taste. It was kind of bitter. I couldn't eat much of it, and it didn't sit well on my stomach. I'm hoping it wasn't bad.

This is to be the worst website for ordering off your website I have ever seen WHO put this together a 12 year old kid?

This store is a disaster. And whoever Fred is that thinks it's ok to argue with the customer needs to be fired. Waitress can't do there jobs and the cooks evidently don't understand how to cook.

We have not been out to eat since the pandemic and we chose our favorite restaurant, Cracker Barrel to take our daughter for lunch. Food was great and service was acceptable, then the check came. We had specifically order lunch meatloaf with two sides. This has alway been our favorite and have always substituted another side for the mashed potatoes. When the bill came we were charged for dinners at a higher price. The server, Sam, told us that we could not have gotten lunches without mashed potatoes, so after about a 10 minute adjustment, she changed the price on one entre that did have potatoes. I then went to the cashier and asked for a manager to protest, I first got the retail manager who then spent another 15 minutes getting the restaurant manager. He told me that I could have easily asked to substitute another side with the lunch special, but would go check, he came back in about 10 minutes and gave me a lecture of the difference in portion size and, in a very condescending way, asked me when was the last time I visited Cracker Barrel. Not sure why that mattered, but accused me of not catching that the meatloaf was bigger when it was served, After another 15 minuted adjustment, I finally got a corrected ticket and then had to wait in checkout line for another 8 minutes. The food was barely edible - side salad and side of broccoli/rice casserole. Server, among other things, kept cleaning up around us - sweeping floor within 2 inches of me as I tried to eat, removing condiments and replacing same as we tried to eat and converse. The salad was a row of cheese, a row of lettuce, etc. The B/R casserole had underdone broccoli (had to cut with knife) and I found no rice, only massive amounts of breadcrumbs. So bad.

Myself an family went C B to eat the waitress was nice the kids food was hot an on time she drought my dumplings and cooked apples out along with broccoli and cheese when I ordered broccoli casserole well the dumplings were cold and so was the apples so I asked for it to go box. I put the food in it to go box but the dumplings wasn't even worth eating, are you could taste with flour I'll make my own from now on. But I think in my little grandson, 19 months old, got him a pair of cowboy boots and got him a sloth toy that records.

I have always enjoyed the food but like why do y'all serve the cookies cold I really don't understand and they are 12-13 dollars for 5 cookies?I am better off buying a pack of cookies from the store I don't know why I have learned this lesson sooner to just buy packs from the store
Waiting 1-3 hours for cookies to be thawed is not too bad I understand why they did that but is not for me But overall I really enjoy the food and have not been disappointed once yet besides this cookie review

Depending on location and service cracker barrel could be good or crappy.

I'm still not happy they ignored me when I reached out about a terrible experience I had how the host treated my bf and I at the Romeoville IL location. I left a review as well and owner never reached out and apologized to me. Cracker barrel themselves didn't either so they've lost my respect.
