My detailer specifically told me to get a cover with a soft lining and to never put it on over dust if i could help it. Took that seriously and went with the platinum specifically for the cotton interior. The difference versus a bare fabric cover is pretty obvious when you handle both. Cotton lining sits against my VW Golf without any drag, moves with the cover instead of against the paint. Been doing this every day for several months, quick visual check every week or so, and the paint looks exactly the same as when i brought it home from the dealer. For a limited edition color that i'm not going to be able to match if i scratch it that kind of protection matters a lot.

Ross, your detailer gave great advice and it sounds like the Platinum is delivering on it. Really glad the cotton lining is keeping that limited edition paint looking exactly as it should. Thanks for sharing!

My kids actually fight over who gets to help put the cover on which is not something i expected to say about a boat cover. Our boat is over 20 feet so having an extra set of hands does make it easier but honestly one person can manage it too. We've turned it into the end of every lake day routine, pull the boat out, rinse it down, cover goes on, everyone helps. Takes maybe three minutes with two people. Kids are 9 and 12 and they've both got the process figured out. For a 1989 boat that still runs great and looks good, keeping it covered has become just part of how we take care of it.

Easy to handle
April 8, 2026

The XJR is a long car and i was expecting the cover to be a wrestling match to fold up every time. It's not. Shake it off, fold it in thirds lengthwise, roll it up from the front and it fits back in the bag without a fight. Takes maybe two minutes once you've done it a few times. Keep the bag in the boot and the whole thing is out of the way until i need it again. For a daily routine that's the kind of thing that actually determines whether you use a cover consistently or whether it ends up sitting in a corner. Easy enough that i actually use it every day. That's the whole point.

Review for boat cover
April 7, 2026

Ski boats take a beating in the sun and water and after a few seasons without a cover the wear really shows. Gelcoat fades, vinyl cracks, upholstery gets that sun-bleached look that drops the value fast. Been religious about keeping the Moomba covered since i bought this and the boat looks genuinely better than its age suggests. Had a guy at the ramp last month ask me what year it was and when i told him 2008 he didn't believe me. Cover is a big reason for that. Whatever i eventually sell this boat for is going to reflect how well it's been kept and that's a return on investment that's pretty hard to argue with. Good cover, smart purchase.

Take the Cherokee on a lot of long weekends and the cover comes with me every time. Folds down into the storage bag pretty compact, fits behind the rear seats without taking up the whole cargo area, and when we stop somewhere overnight it goes on the Jeep in a couple minutes. Hotel parking lots, campgrounds, random spots in the middle of nowhere, doesn't matter. Been doing this for several months now and the bag is holding up fine, cover isn't getting creased or damaged from being packed and unpacked constantly. For a Jeep that genuinely goes places having a cover that travels as well as the vehicle does is the kind of thing you don't think about until you have it.

Great fit on custom bike
April 7, 2026

My wife bought this as a surprise which meant she had to call and figure out the right cover without me knowing. She said the person she talked to was patient, asked good questions about the bike, and helped her land on the Gold without making her feel like she was being sold up. She got it right. Cover fits the Sportster 1200 perfectly, gets over everything including the windshield and down to the lower frame, straps have plenty of length. Been using it a few months, bike stays clean and dry, chrome looks good. She was pretty proud of herself for pulling it off and honestly she should be. Good cover, and apparently good people on the phone too.

Good so far
April 7, 2026

The last cover i had fell apart after one winter, seams went first then the fabric just kind of gave up. Wasn't doing that again. This one's been on the boat through a full season including some pretty rough stretches and i can't find anything wrong with it. 5 star

Good Buy Car Cover
April 7, 2026

Bought this knowing full well i wasn't going to baby it. Old car, basic cover, just needs to work without making my life complicated. Pollen season was the real test and when the cover turned yellow-green i just hosed it down on the lawn, let it dry on the car and it was back to normal. Fabric held up fine through that, no color transfer onto the Monte Carlo, no staining on the paint. That was my main concern with a lighter colored cover on a dark car. No issues at all. Does what it's supposed to do and easy enough to keep clean. Good buy.

Cat Problem Finally Solved
April 5, 2026

We have a neighborhood cat. I don't know who it belongs to but I know exactly where it sleeps because I've been finding paw prints across my Nissan Rogue's hood every morning for the past year. Little muddy tracks from the bumper up the hood across the windshield and onto the roof. Every single night this cat uses my car as a walkway to get wherever it's going. I tried parking in a different spot. The cat found it. I tried leaving the wipers up to make the windshield less appealing. The cat did not care.

The Platinum cover has ended the standoff. The cat still walks on it, I can see the faint prints on the fabric some mornings. But the car underneath is completely clean and the fleece lining means those little claws aren't leaving scratches through the fabric. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Built for Real Fishing Use
April 5, 2026

My Tracker Pro Team is strictly a fishing boat and it gets used hard. Early mornings, late evenings, muddy boots, tackle everywhere. What it doesn't need is to sit uncovered between trips collecting whatever the sky decides to drop on it. The ShoreFit 600 goes on after every outing and the boat is clean and dry the next time I'm ready to fish. The 600 denier fabric handles the rain we get here in Oklahoma without any issue and the shock cord keeps everything sealed around the hull. I used to spend twenty minutes wiping down the console and seats before every trip. Now I just pull the cover and go. More time fishing, less time cleaning.

I know this sounds ridiculous but the reason I bought this cover is my kids. I have a four year old and a six year old who treat the Raptor like playground equipment. I've pulled toy dinosaurs off the hood, found dried juice box drips on the fender, and once discovered a half eaten popsicle stuck to the running board that had melted down the side and dried into a purple crust. My wife thought it was hilarious. I did not.

The WeatherFit Platinum cover goes on now the second I park in the driveway and suddenly the truck is no longer an interactive exhibit. My son tried to climb up on the bumper last week and slid right off the fabric which was honestly funnier than it should have been. The fleece lining means their adventures aren't scratching the paint through the cover when they inevitably ignore my instructions to leave it alone. I've accepted that I can't control my children but I can put a barrier between them and the Area 51 Blue paint.

Harry, a half eaten popsicle melted to the running board is not a use case we had documented but we are glad the WeatherFit Platinum is rising to the occasion. Protecting the Area 51 Blue from little hands is just as valid a reason as any. Thanks for the laugh and the great review!

I've lost two covers to the same problem. The fabric wears through at the spots where it contacts the bow eye, the windshield frame corners, and the cleat hardware along the gunwale. You don't notice it happening until one day you see sunlight coming through a thin spot and by then the damage is done. With a boat this old the hardware has some rough edges that I've filed down over the years but they still create friction points against any cover fabric.

The 1200 HD is holding up at every one of those contact areas after a full season of use. I check them regularly because I'm paranoid about it at this point and so far no thinning, no abrasion marks, nothing wearing through. The 1200 denier material is thicker than anything I've put on this boat before. I also taped a few of the sharper cleat edges with marine vinyl tape as extra insurance. Between that and the fabric quality I think this cover is going to outlast the ones that came before it combined.

Logan, that kind of wear testing at the contact points is exactly what the 1200 HD is built to handle and it sounds like it's delivering. Really appreciate you sharing the detail here as it's helpful for other boat owners dealing with the same friction point issues. Thanks for the great review!

We share a tandem garage with my mother in law's Buick and the clearance between the two vehicles is about fourteen inches on a good day. She has a habit of opening her door without looking and I've already had one ding touched up on the passenger side of the Aviator that I'm fairly certain came from her door handle. I can't prove it and I'm not going to start that conversation. The seven layer platinum cover absorbs the contact and the fleece lining means nothing is going to press through and scratch my pant. She actually asked me why I cover the car inside the garage and I told her it's for dust. It is also for dust. But mostly it's for the door thing.

No Garage, No Problem
April 4, 2026

I'm on the third floor of an apartment building in Atlanta with an assigned spot in the open lot behind the building. No garage, no carport, no tree cover which is actually a blessing and a curse. Nothing drips on my car but it's also fully exposed to rain from October through May which is basically one continuous drizzle with occasional breaks. The Platinum cover handles the rain without letting anything through. I've left it on for three day stretches during heavy storms and the car is completely dry underneath every time. My lease doesn't allow any kind of canopy or structure in the lot so this is the next best thing and honestly it works just as well.

Saves time on our rides
April 3, 2026

We ride our ATVs pretty much whenever the weather allows and the whole point of the cover is that i don't have to do anything before heading out. Pull it off and the CFORCE is clean and ready, no wiping down the seat, no dust on the handlebars, no pollen sitting in every crevice. Before i had this cover i was spending ten minutes cleaning it off before every ride which sounds minor but adds up fast when you're just trying to get out the door on a saturday morning. Basic tier is plenty for my situation, the CFMoto lives in the shed so it's not dealing with hardcore weather. Does exactly what i need it to do without overthinking it.

Glastron Cover
April 2, 2026

Was specifically worried about the raised seating on the Glastron before ordering, called and asked about it and was told the cover accounts for that profile. Skeptical but ordered anyway. They were right. Goes over the bolsters cleanly without looking like it's straining anywhere, and the bow area fits down close to the hull the way it should. No weird tenting, no spots where it's pulling away from the body. Pulled it off after a rainy week at the dock and everything underneath was dry including the seat cushions which are usually the first thing to show water intrusion. Good fit on a boat that isn't the easiest shape to cover.

I straight up went with the WeatherFit Basic because I didn't want to spend a lot. My Ram truck has 138,000 miles on it and gets used hard. Towing the camper, hauling mulch, sitting at job sites in the weather. It's not a show truck and I wasn't looking to treat it like one. I just wanted something to keep the worst of the elements off it when it's parked at the house for more than a day or two. The Basic does that without making me feel like I overspent on a truck that owes me nothing at this point. The fabric handles rain fine and keeps the morning dew and bird droppings off the hood which were my main annoyences.

Threw it on the Outback the day it arrived, figured i'd figure it out as i went. Front tag tells you which end is which, everything else is pretty self explanatory. Cover fits the roofline well including over the roof rails which i was specifically wondering about. Straps cinch down easy and the whole thing feels secure once it's on. Coming off is even faster than putting it on. For a daily driver that i'm covering and uncovering every single morning and evening the ease of use actually matters a lot. This one doesn't make it a chore.

Learned my lesson on last bike
April 1, 2026

Had an older R1 before this R3 and watched the rubber on the grips and tires go chalky and the plastic fairings fade out over a couple of summers parked outside without a cover. Wasn't going to let that happen again. The platinum weatherfit has solid UV blocking and it shows, the fairings on this bike still have the same depth of color they had when i bought it, grips feel normal, no cracking starting at the edges of any of the rubber trim. A sport bike like the R3 has a lot of exposed plastic and it's not cheap to replace fairings if the sun gets to them. This cover is way less expensive than any of that. Been using it about eight months, zero degradation so far.

From Untouchable to Comfortable
April 1, 2026

The black leather interior in my Mustang turns into a griddle from about May through September. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've burned the back of my legs getting in after it sat in a parking lot for a few hours. I started carrying a towel to sit on which felt a little ridiculous in a sports car.

The Solar-X cover was a BIG help. The reflective fabric blocks enough heat so that when I pull the cover off after work the steering wheel is warm instead of untouchable and the seats don't require a cool down period before I can sit.

My commute home used to start with five minutes of blasting the AC with the doors open. But now I just get in and start driving.

A coworker watched me put the cover on one afternoon and asked if it actually works. I told her to touch my steering wheel at 5pm versus hers. She didn't take the bait.
