Just like many of these other reviewers, I am very displeased with this website. I was on a time crunch to put together a cover letter, I followed all the steps for a supposed free cover letter and at the end I was taken to a payment screen. After the 20 minutes it took me to put together a decent cover letter I felt obligated to pay the $2. I was upset but said screw it, at least I'm done with it. A few weeks later my debit card was charged for a full months subscription which was $40! Evidently not only do they charge u $2 for a single cover letter but upon your purchase you are automatically subscribed to pay $10/week AND you pay in advance for membership time that hasn't even happened yet!? This is absolutely criminal!

They tricked me in to buying a subscription. All I needed was a quick cover letter and their site said I could get one free. After completing my cover letter and hitting the only option "Save and Next Step" took me to the purchase access page which led me to believe I HAD to purchase it! The top of the page listed steps, 1Create Letter(which is already checked), 2Choose Access, 3Enter Payment Details, and 4Finished. It was late, I was tired and on a deadline so I paid the $2 and then it took to me build a resume instead of print my cover letter. I had no idea if it even saved. I was tricked in to paying that fee as it was NOT necessary to save my cover letter. I did not know how to retrieve my cover letter and subsequently missed my deadline. It says you will be refunded if not happy so I emailed them for one. All they said was that they cancelled my subscription from renewing after the 14 days, but still have my cc info on their site. I've read several reviews on another site stating they keep charging people after they've cancelled subscriptions. So now I'm out the $2, did not get my cover letter on time, and may have further hell to pay with recurring charges. Don't be fooled like I was!

I just purchased the cover letter package along with the resume aid or what ever it is called. I submitted my already complete resume expecting it to be revised. The revision looked as if some computer program had gone through it. The job information was distorted and it looked a mess. Further, the "live chat" is a complete waste of time. The reps take a very long time to even join the conversation. When they do, they have absolutely no answers. This is a VERY bad program. Anyone saying otherwise must be related to the company or paid for their false review.

The ability to print, email, or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. You can download a plain text version of your resume for free. We also explain that the subscription is auto-renewing. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.
