This is the second time I've used their services. It's so EASY to use, anyone could follow along. I HATE doing cover letters, they're such a pet peeve of mine for some reason. And I love how you can download them into Word or PDF, so you can just change out the name of the company and the basics of the job, but keep the guts intact if it's relevant to save time.

I was able to create a good cover letter and didn't realize that it wasn't going to automatically cancel after the trial. I was billed for the next month, but called and the lady was very nice, and helpful in cancelling the account for me. The monthly fee is too high and she asked didn't I want to keep it. But after getting a job, why would I want a keep an account to write cover letters. I would say that overall, it was a good service and great customer service.

I was in the market for a new job and I had an old cover letter and resume that looked dates.
So I found the site and it was great. Lots of variety and I came up with a good cover letter.
But I cant see paying a monthly fee as once I got the job i dont think ill need it for a while.

I purchased a $1.95 trial subscription -- not reading the fine print, I was charged today for $19.95. I used the live chat to contact them, and Linmy explained that I signed up for a 14-day trial, which turns into a monthly payment. They quickly refunded me and canceled my subscription. I honestly thought it was a long shot that they would refund it, since it was my own error. Great customer service!

I just bought one template of 1.95$ but 2 months later I found they were charging me 19.95$ each month for a subscription I didn't do. It's a good scam to steal people's money. In the end I paid 41.85$ for a simple cover letter template. Ridiculous. Get out of there

I made my cover letter very quickly and it looked amazing after it was done. I paid the 1.95 and after saving and sending my cover letter I called to have it cancelled the same day. Customer service was extremely nice and cancelled the membership so hopefully nothing bad will happen like the others...

I needed to write a resignation letter for a prestigious law firm. My boss asked me for a formal written one. Expecting I should have already had it done... I was in a time crunch! (considering I'm a paralegal I could have drafted my own just by doing some research) BUT I didn't have the time... the wording needed to be just right because my future employers would be calling and tadah my letter would be in my file. I found Cover-Letter-Now and it was a huge LIFE SAVER! I drafted it in about 10-15 minutes. Yes I paid $1 or $2. But come on! That was nothing! And Idk why ppl are bashing them because by law they are required to notify you that there is a monthly charge... I told myself I will cancel it before the trial is over... OF COURSE... I forgot. I got charged the $20 not once... twice! I called to ask for a courtesy... I was willing to swallow the $20 because I knew it was my fault the first month... but I spoke to the customer service rep Rafael Vazquez who listened and said he will see what he can do! He was so kind and professional. I explained to him how I only used their service that one time. He checked my history of activity and he refunded me BOTH charges of $20! This shows me their integrity and how they care about their customers! They didn't charge me for what I did not use! Thank you Cover-Letter-Now for helping me in a very stressful time. It was so easy to use! It gave me suggestions as I entered each line on the letter! Easiest format ever! I'm sure they use the same methods of helping customers on everything else on their site... No brainer! I couldn't be happier that on top of it... their customer service was so nice!

I was in need of a cover letter, and I was enticed by the promise of a free cover letter builder. The tool was simple enough. After completing the cover letter, it said I must pay a dollar and some odd cents fee to be able to print/download. Fair enough, I thought. Later that month, I was charged a random $19.82. Though they claim warning me, I had no idea I was signing up to have money that I didn't have anyway taken from me when I had not used the website since. I online chatted and my money was NOT refunded. They claim to have deleted my account, so we'll see about that. Overall, pretty low of them to take advantage of people who are desperately searching for jobs by stealing their money. It didn't hurt me too badly, but I can only imagine how it might affect someone else. BEWARE!

I definentley got scammed with the $39 charge but also my own fault for not reading fine print. However, when calling to see if I could get a refund since I never used it custome service rep Enrique was so nice and kind and gave me a full refund. Great costumer service just make sure to read the fine print.

If you try to cancel, they will keep billing you, horrible customer service. Only way to stop the charges is to cancel your card and get a new one. Do not do buisness with these con artists!
