I placed my order on November 24 for a Christmas gift. After a couple of weeks of no news on the shipping (last and only other purchase took 2 weeks to ship) I followed up. Currently at 9 emails (can't call - they tell you to email for faster responses) and my order still hasn't shipped or been cancelled, and not a single response to my emails. They did, however, take the time to delete my negative reviews on their website! I reported them to my credit card company as a fraudulent transaction. It's a shame because I chose them over Amazon to support a Canadian company:S

Hello, exactly the same situation.I have placed my order in November and no answers.I wrote us and no answer.Very frustrating.My order was for 480$ and my card was charged.
I placed an order on September 13th 2022 and I am still waiting for it to arrive. They took the money out from my account already and they are now not even returning my requests for a refund. They are very shady - do not buy from them!
I had put my order in on December 2nd and the Shop app never updated past the first chunk of "shipping". I emailed twice and called once with no replies whatsoever, and then googled reviews. Should have googled beforehand, lesson learned. Clearly a front for a fraud and scam account. Will be going to my credit card company and getting a chargeback/return from them.
I purchased $800 from them in October and still there is no shipping, no update and even they are not reply to my Emails. I want to cancel my order and they must refund me. They are terrible. They are absolute scam. Never do any business with them. Be aware.
My order was placed almost a month ago. No ability to see order status without loading an app they recommend, no reply to 4 emails asking for an update, phone number just tells you to send an email. No shipping information a month later. My order is attached here for proof of purchase in case there are any doubters.
The store bills itself as an all Canadian enterprise and brags about it's post-sale support. That's a brag without substance.
Additionally, after I posted, and verified, a bad review due to the above they promptly deleted that review. Proof I submitted one is also attached.

I only received part of what I ordered. I paid for everything when ordering in August. There are still items missing in December. There is no way to communicate with them.
Nice set but arrived with 2 damaged glass lids. Trying to communicate with customer service but no replies back. Not impressed with their service. All I want is 2 replacements lids or the value of the lids so I can replace them. I wrote a review before but for some reason it doesnt get posted. Maybe because I dont give it a 5 stars. Would reply appeciate receiving a reply to my emails

I placed an order at the first of November 2022, by the first of December I had not received my order. I tried calling the company to inquire about my order, you can not speak to anyone, they ask that you send an email. I sent an email to *******@cookstore.ca and *******@cookstore.ca, I got no response. I followed up with another email in the middle of December, no response, I just sent another email today. I guess I will have to resort calling my credit card company and filing claim with them...? Unfortunate, I would be happy to wait for a while if someone would just talk to me and let me know what was up with my order.
Do not be enticed by the discounts on the items, it has been two months since I ordered my product; Everything that you think is in-stock isn't in-stock, it doesn't even exist in their warehouse that also doesn't exist. The customer service are liars. I feel sorry for myself as I have only seen the bad reviews now. Please share with those who might be at risk.
I hope you still have a chance to keep your hard-working money. They did send me an email and said sorry but asked me to give them a good review. It is a joke.

I ordered some things in mid-November. The website indicated that they would ship in 1-2 weeks. I still have not received anything and they will not answer my calls or emails. Have had to put in a charge back request through my credit card. Do not order from them.
I made a purchase on November 11/22 and since then I have made several attempts to speak to someone at cookstore regarding my order which has not been delivered as of today December 19/22. It's over one month and I have tried to email them at their help line and I've tried to call several times. They have never responded to my e-mail and they never answered their phone. The least they could have done is to reply to my email. This is very poor business practices. I will be requesting for a full refund.
I really wish I knew about all the bad reviews this store had before placing an order for a very expensive pan. There is no one to talk with as their answering machine doesn't take calls and they don't respond to emails. I ordered online for Black Friday and I am still waiting for the product. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

THIS "BUSINESS" IS NOT FULFILLING ORDERS. THEY ARE JUST TAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE AND NOT DELIVERING ANYTHING. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT AND THEIR PHONE NUMBER JUST LEADS TO AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE THAT IMMEDIATELY SAYS THEY'RE EXPERIENCING A HIGH VOLUME OF CALLS AND TO TRY AGAIN LATER. THIS FEELS BORDERLINE CRIMINAL. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
