Customer service is a JOKE. Every rep I've spoken with has poor English skills, has no flexibility for waiving score send charges during covid, or cancelation fees. Was lied to last Friday when they said scores were going out THAT day; STILL PENDING! We've been waiting 2 weeks for SAT electronic scores to be sent with a deadline looming that could cost us Thousands of scholarship dollars. The 4 free scores should have NO deadline before being charged and who thought it was a good idea in this day an age to charge $46 to cancel a SAT registration; only refunding $10. The biggest rip off. I hope Colleges realize what a scam this organization is and remove their accreditation.

My son has missed college application deadlines for his score report from College Board. He was supposed to receive the scores 3.5 weeks ago. They're telling us different days of when to expect the scores. They take our money but give us no results. This is a sham and a scam. Not acceptable.

Test center
October 2, 2020

The high school test center said they have reported and close the test location to college board sine March but college board is still listing the school as available to public and allow user to register. We registered The test to the center, and receive the cancellation message one day before the testing!

This company is an absolute joke!

Our daughters SAT test was cancelled. We showed up at 7:30 in the morning with many other families and were told at the site that only 1/3 of the students would be allowed to take the test. They said we should have gotten an email but no one had.

Now we are trying to contact someone about the cancellation and they send you to the Philippines. How in the hell do you all not have someone in the states ready to answer the questions of your customers? The people in the Philippines weren't equipped to answer any of my questions.
You have blatantly shown disregard for the students and families when you cancelled their test and didn't contact them at all. You have continually shown disrespect to customers that no other successful business would be able to withstand.

I have never been more disgusted with a company in my life.

My daughter went through the entire process to sign up for the SAT's through College Board. Even though she received a confirmation after signing up she never received a confirmation email or notice of any kind. She was supposed to take the SAT tomorrow and now she doesn't have a seat because of College Boards awful processes. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY AND HAVE A MONOPOLY ON THE MARKET!

So, I wrote the Physics 1 Exam in the first time frame in May 2020 (Covid-19 season). The exam didn't seem difficult at all, but rather they were lucky topics for me. The only problem was that I ran out of time on the first question. But luckily, I think of including my first page with the second question, clearly stating in the pictures that the section was from the first question. Immediately afterwards, I call my guidance counsellor to contact an AP coordinator she is familiar with. In a few days' time, she informs me that the AP coordinator has ensured us that my exam would be marked and that I would not need a retest. And that's that for the summer, no more stress until July 17, when they send out marks for the May exams.

And then July comes around. Its the 17th. No mark. In the marks section, it says that I will be 'contacted' by August 1st about my missing score. I wait. Still no score on August 1st. And meanwhile, I've called their office a few times. I call again at the office and they say that they will in fact be marking my exam by the 7th. And to double-check, our AP coordinator also said that my exam should be marked. Can you guess what happened next?

That's right, no score... and today has been a week after the 7th. I call almost every day after from the 7th only to be put on hold for an hour or two. Even wrote them a long a** email expressing my concern. Yet, it took me about a week for someone to actually pick up the phone after a while, only to waste 20 minutes or so saying that nobody will be marking my exam and that I will have to retest!

Collegeboard, if you are reading this, all I have to say is f*** your bull****. Seriously. I paid like $140 just to get a rejected score and a stupid retest, which I am quite sure, you will f*** up again. And I just figured that the Universities I want to doesn't even care about the marks of the exam I want to take. So give me a FULL REFUND for the extreme inconveniences and holdups you have caused over the past three months or so.

And I do want congratulate you Collegeboard people for successfully ripping off thousands of people for no mere reason. :D

So $#*!
July 15, 2020

They over complicate every single question, make tests nearly impossible to understand or even pass, AP teachers have to curve grades so much for students to have passing grades, and the college credit shouldn't be determined just by one test. College credit should also be based on the grade in the class mixed with a test you can actually understand.

Plan on repeating your self several times over a 30 minute period. You can never talk to an upper level employee. Customer service reps don't understand English and clearly don't understand the testing process. Very painful to call and get answers.

Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the siege dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

As a high school AP teacher, I have had nothing but negative experiences with the College Board and its AP program. The website is so poorly designed it can take hours to try to find the appropriate information. Communications are sparse and misleading and it is impossible to reach anyone in customer service. I have spent an hour on hold only to have my call dropped. Requests I have placed for additional materials have never been filled. This year they demanded payment from students in October, instead of the spring as in the past. Students in my AP art class are not always certain they want to submit a portfolio until later in the year. Now they are out the money and there is a PENALTY applied if they do not. Research has shown how invalid the SAT is and the stress it creates is not worth the millions of dollars students and institutions have to throw at it.

I had to register for a new test date since COVID19 cancelled mine. Despite them probably having many people probably trying to reregister, the wait time was much much shorter than I expected. The man who helped me was able to change my test date quickly and without any hassle. It was much easier than I thought it would be and much quicker too.

Dumb agents who don't understand English. Calling in to the College Board is a miserable experience. The off-shore agents can't speak nor understand English. They have a high school education level and are unprofessional. Ask for a supervisor and they won't honor your request. They will hang up on you.

Shady Hiring Team
November 22, 2019

I applied for a job with the College Board. After a few rounds I was told I was still in the running and that an extended interview was being scheduled. After being ghosted I was then told the position had been filled. Clearly the managing team does not have their ducks in a row. Seems like a very disjointed operation.

Worst customer service
October 30, 2019

If you only speak English and hope to be able to communicate with their customer service in English - forget it. I spent 20+ minutes on hold followed by a 20+ minute "discussion" with a representative. I put the word "discussion" in quotes because I could only understand about one out of every ten words he spoke. After repeated requests to speak to a supervisor, he said he was going to put me on hold and transfer me to a supervisor. He proceeded to hang up on me. Worst customer service ever.

Horrible!
October 30, 2019

I called three times to enquire about SAT subject test information (about changing the listening test that my child has previously registered) and each time I got a different answer. One of them told me I can change the subject test on the test date itself, even after I told him it was a language test with listening. Another said I cannot due to their policy. The third said I can try asking the Proctor on the test day itself to see if I could change to take another listening test. And then one told me the deadline to make changes was 28 October and the other told me the deadline was 22 October (test date is 2 Nov). The last one was worst, she just hang up on me :(( (( Ended up I missed the deadline because of the misinformation and I can't change now. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

Throughout my 4 years of high school ( currently in my 4th as a senior) i have always genuinely hated college board. They're system is an absolute scam! I've never worked with such money hungry, greedy, filthy people than those at college board. It's clear as day that they don't actually care about students or even education at all. Their sole purpose is to suck money out of oblivious students and parents. The worst part of this sham is that they're continuously allowed to do what they do. HOW DOES THE GOVERNMENT ENDORSE PRIVATE SCAM BUSINESSES? Seriously, I pray with my whole heart that this organization gets shut down, they are evil horrible people.

Part of the Education Scam
September 16, 2019

Now College Board has moved the AP test registration deadline from March to November to make even more money... because $1.2B is not quite enough! Parents found out today that they have to shell out $400 four months earlier than planned for AP tests. Kids will also have to commit to an expensive exam without being certain it is even worthwhile. These tests are a scam anyway. My son had 40 AP credits, or as I like to think of it, a $1000 investment. He should have entered college as a second-semester sophomore, but the reality is that these credits have no real impact on the number of years spent in college. They still have to take all of the courses vital to their major, and fulfill all of the prerequisites for their higher-level courses. If this year has taught us anything, it is that higher learning has become one big pay-to-play scandal. Shame on you for being part of the problem.

43 to get scores from just over a year ago sent to a college? Ridiculous! I couldn't afford to pay for rush so I'm not sure my son will get in for fall. We already paid for the SAT it should not cost so much to get scores

Horrible Services
May 10, 2019

Horrible services. The only thing they care is money. I once tried to set up an account for my 11 old daughter in college board to take SAT for the talented program, but I was not allowed to so I tried 2002 instead of 2007 and it worked. So I knew it was because she was too young to register through the website so I registered her through a talented program. However the account I set up in college board gave us nightmares. Even though my registration information through the talent program was totally correct and the admission ticket was correct, first they did not send out the admission ticket until I called to ask, then they did not send out the report to me until I called to request (for young kid, the report will be sent out automatically because they could not check online), next they sent out the score with the wrong day of birth, next I called 4 times, sending out the required documents for the birthday changes, paid the rush fee as asked,, I waited another ten days, still not received the score, and I called again and found out that ridiculously the College Board still sent out the report with the wrong birthday and nothing changed after my seven phone calls! I waited more than two months and called nine times and the deadline for score report of the talented program has already passed, I still haven't received the correct report. My daughter got 1240 over 1600 at age 11, which is much above the requirement for the talented program, however, she may miss the chance for the talented program because the bureaucracy of the college board. Anyone can imagine how fluctuated I am?
