College board barely knows what they are doing. I recently needed help logging into my account to submit an assignment in my AP class, which is SEPARATE from my AP college board login (for some reason). I tried to call yesterday and they walked me in circles asked me a bunch of information to just throw that out and tell me to do it myself and they don't even have information on them. They told me to get the key to join the class I would have to contact my AP coordinator who told me to call the college board help line in the first place! Basically I walked in circles and got no where to getting my login information. Today I called them and I am currently on hold and have been on hold for 25 minutes. I tried to email them but a response to an email takes 5-7 business days. I don't know how collegeboard can be taken seriously because they are the most unprofessional, useless, and trash organization. If college board is what we use to educate our students then I am scared for the future.

This continues to be the worst website I have ever used. They have done nothing to improve it over the last 5 years! I believe they must make a concerted effort to make this the most user unfriendly site on the planet. How else could it be so terrible? I don't want to teach AP again because of this site. I don't think I can say enough bad things about it. In fact I hope that the AP test is discontinued in the future. I see College Board as nothing more than a money grab. If CB cared about students or their teachers, they would have improved this horrible mess long ago.

I cannot find anything on this god forsaken website. There is a labyrinth of links just to find my ap classroom stuff. Not to mention this "nonprofit" is greedy and discriminatory. I'm so sorry that every American student of a public school is required to be slave to this horrible monopoly.

Had to complete a CSS Collegeboard Profile for my 2 daughters' application to UVA. The site does not have an option for creating 2 CSS profiles. Customer service indicated that I would need to create 2 separate accounts, which involves creating a secondary email address, to bypass their "system", and also to use my last name, as my name, and my name as my last name in the second profile to, also bypass the "system". Not to mention the payment for each separate profile. It's absolutely ridiculous that this organization even exists, and even worse, that some universities require to go through them. Collegeboard CSS: If you want to justify charging money out of college/financial aid applications, at the very least have systems that support that. Your platform is terrible and your customer service is inept and to round it all up! What a Scam!

This organization is a not-for-profit with a mission statement to provide exams, support for exams (including explanations of scores), and to provide correct scores to colleges and universities.
They lost my daughter's AP exam for months, and then posted an erroneous score that they refuse to explain or investigate. They deflect, do not respond to certified letters or faxes, and outright lie. I have been communicating with various customer service reps there, who put you in hold for hours and then disconnect you, or parrot what you requested, but provide no service. They refuse to provide info to their legal counsel for any sort of contact. I was on the phone with a 'high level customer service rep''- Colleen Neidt. She refused to provide contact info to College Board's legal counsel. She stated it was 'policy'. I asked her to provide the policy to show me why an organization that serves the public refuses to provide their contact info. She told me she didn't need to show me anything. College Board needs to be investigated by the Attorney General's office and any other regulatory agency. This agency should not be receiving any funding from anywhere. They must be investigated.

This site sucks. It's laggy, it's slow, and it doesn't even load half the time. I click remember me, but I have to log in. Every. Single. Time. On top of all this, I have been kicked out of in-progress assignments for no reason and with no explanation, and when this happens I typically have to start what ever I was doing all over again. Really I might as well not even try at this point.

Terrible!
December 9, 2020

Between my daughter's tests being cancelled with zero notification and trying to order her QAS with zero info on how to access it (I was expecting it in the mail) and their horrible customer service... I feel one star is way too generous. Terrible operation.

Worst Exam Organization
December 4, 2020

After registering for the SAT, a week before the exam I was told the test centre was closed. I know what you are thinking "It's a pandemic it is not the College Board's fault" well I'm sure after explaining you will see that it is. The test centre I registered had been closed for months and College Board still allowed registrations to this centre actively knowing they would not facilitate me or numerous other students who registered. The College Board cares 0 about the best interests of the students and has completely tried 0 to fix the issue in the best way for all wronged students.

Requested an archived score report in October 2020 after months of telephone calls while their archives were closed due to COVID. In addition to the $31 fee, requested a rush which was extra. CSR completely screwed up the personal information transposing numbers in my birthdate, getting my graduation date and test date incorrect. When the score was UNABLE to be found in their archives due to their mistake, they refused to refund the costs. In addition, they launched an investigation/escalation which they informed would take 5-10 business days. However, they did not correct the information. After 10 business days, I asked for them to again correct it. College Board said then that I needed to be patient and it would be resolved soon. Over a month later, it is still not resolved. CSR routinely disconnect me when I call back and give them the case number. They claim their "systems" are down or they cannot work on the issue due to Thanksgiving holiday or claim they have a large volume of calls so a supervisor is unavailable.

I've long been dissatisfied with the College Board because my kids have all had to take a Sunday test, which you cannot schedule online and must prove your religion to them to schedule, which in and of itself sounds like a violation of constitutional rights. They need to organize and run the tests themselves. It's as simple as that. Because they rely on schools to volunteer to proctor the test so they can make more money instead of serve the student, they can't get anyone to give tests on Sunday. They should just require a test site to just offer a test on Saturday and Sunday to be fair and equal to all students. Nonetheless I've hoped this business would just go under - go bankrupt - for their complete disregard for the students. Perhaps someone will file a class action lawsuit for religious descrimination someday. Thankfully now that COVID has hit, I hope that most colleges will simply go test-optional. I'm glad to see so many other dissatisfied customers because now I know I am not the only one and this is a systemic corporate-culture problem. I believe that this company has been just collecting money for years and now is facing having to reinvent themselves and cannot do it because they are too unattached to their customers needs. Good luck to anyone trying to test on a Sunday - you might have to fly out of state to do it!

First off, I have been calling for the last month and a half to reset my daughter's collegeboard login. No one answers the phone. Keeps you on hold for hours. Today, finally someone picked up the phone and kept saying I can't hear you, while I could hear him perfectly fine.

Disgusted and Outraged by the absolute disregard for customer service exhibited by the College Board.

To say that I am disappointed by the complete absence of ANY communication from College Board as to the status of my archived scores request would be a gross understatement. I am 7 weeks into NO COMMUNICATION or update or sense of where this search lies and despite being thrice told verbally (because it surely wasn't communicated in writing) that my paper application request has been received, I am not getting anywhere or any direction with College Board on this.

I have called College Board every single week for the last six weeks and have gotten nowhere. No one who answers the phone, while courteous, has ever been empowered to get me any information whatsoever as to the status of my request.

I am not allowed to speak with a manager or supervisor, so there is no one to whom I can escalate this matter so as to get some kind of direction. This is the single remaining piece of information holding back my application for a Master's Degree in Teaching that I was looking to begin this January 2021. Every other part of the application has been completed for weeks, except this. The impact is that I have not wasted more than a month of inaction that could have been funnelled into taking steps towards having to retake the state-mandated stardardized test.

I am the parent of a student who requested, a month ago, that his expired AP scores be reported to his current community college, so he may apply to transfer to a 4 year school. College Board has not provided the scores, despite his having done everything they told him to do.

My student faxed (yes, can you believe they're still using fax!) his request for his expired AP scores a month ago. He had been told by their customer service that he would receive an email within 2 weeks of submission. He never received an email.

When he calls to see if he can find out what happened, the staff dismisses him, puts him on a hold which leads to a hang-up, claims he has called the wrong number, etc, etc. In other words, conjures every excuse imaginable to avoid spending the time needed to find out why his request has not been filled a month after it was submitted. (He has re-faxed, marking it as a second request as directed by their staff, and also mailed the request form to no avail.)

Whatever their incentive system is for their customer service reps, it's not working. I know things are strange now during COVID. Yet, every student still deserves to receive their scores in the timeframe promised to them by College Board staff when they first inquired.

College Board is acting like one who has no stakeholders to answer to. Why are we putting up with this, fellow parents and students?
