Every gift I sent for Christmas, to different people across the country, was mailed to incorrect addresses. I had very carefully spelled everything out by the way. They will not let me speak to a supervisor and I was hung on. I have no gifts to give my family members for Christmas and they are holding my money. The level of dishonesty and rudeness from staff as well as their incompetence is unbelievable and I will never order from them again.
Just tried to order from new catalog and was told they could be shipped in SPRING. What has happened to cwc?! Used to be great but can't see ever ordering again. What a shame..
I paid an extra $22 for overnight shipping so that I will have the item I ordered with me before I leave on a long trip. Called two days later to check package status and was told that it was just shipped today and will not arrive tomorrow (that woulld be overnight) but on Monday, a total of FOUR days after it was shipped. Incredibly disappointed and upset. They did refund me part of the shipping fees I paid, but bottom line I will not have the item I was hoping to take with me. Wish I had read the many other negative reviews before ordering from Coldwater creek...
I placed this order on November 8. It is now November 21 and the order has still not shipped. I will NEVER order from this company again.
Absolute WORST online merchant I have dealt with in a long time. So sad, I shopped for years at Coldwater Creek store in Leesburg, VA. Now, you have problem ordering online? You end up in an offshore call center trying to get through scripted broken English. THEY LOST my order IN THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM that they had CONFIRMED by email to me on the day the order was placed, then, after 10 days of inept customer service refused to honor the order's discount on a replacement order because that promo had expired.
I've been ordering from Coldwater Creek for decades. The quality matches the price and clothes are decent, launders well, doesn't fade and holds up over the years. My only real complaints are the new colors of the season go on backorder very fast and never come back in stock. Also, the sizing runs big and the tops can run ridiculously short so I always order a 1X as opposed to my normal Misses XL which is unfortunate given the large sizing. The jeans are not a flattering fit and they NEVER show the backside in pictures so I usually stick to sweaters and tops. Keeping those 3 things in mind when ordering, overall, I am pleased with the apparel I have ordered these past 20 years.
I received a wrong item in the order. So I promptly returned it properly. This was October 2nd 2021 and now Iam trying to trace it and it says no record of the order can be found so now Iam out 50 dollars. Ill try to dispute with my charge card. I dont know how to upload proof of purchase or I would.
This is my second and last purchase using Coldwater Creek catalog.
After having similar problem with my first order couple of months ago, I gave another chance thinking that it might be just a "bad day" with on line ordering.
This time, again, putting the entire order in, including payment information etc, twice - it stopped again on "review the order" again.
I called the customer service and received information that it's some type of "glitch" in the system. My question is: how long this problem is not being corrected? Is the Company of Coldwater Creek interesting in selling their items on line, or in general?
I hate to put bad reviews, because you have good quality clothes, but it was an ordeal to buy the item I finally had to itemized and spelled on the phone to the cusomer service agent.
BEWARE this new Coldwater Creek. It's NOT the same company. When you thumb through the catalog, you are looking at items that are out of stock. I've been waiting six weeks for that cute Vest for all Seasons!
In the last six months I have ordered two pairs of pants, neither of which when delivered, were as pictured in the catalog or online. One pair of pants was pictured as having buttons on the outer seam of each leg, and the other pair of pants was pictured as having a zippered pocket just below the waist band. These details were lacking in the products they shipped. At best, the marketing/production processes are sloppy and use old photographs. At worst, this is a deceptive business practice intended to cheat the customer. Either way, this does not indicate a customer-focused business. Sad.
I ordered the "Snap-front Sweatshirt Lounger" on 9-23-21. The only good thing I can say is that I received it in 8 days. But from the moment I took the package out of the mailbox, I was concerned. It was so lightweight I thought they had shipped the wrong item. I was astonished upon opening to see it was the Lounger. The fabric is so lightweight you can almost see through it! I expected a heavy, warm sweatshirt type fabric. Instead I got fabric that would be suitable for a long sleeve t-shirt. I was afraid to unsnap the snaps for fear I would pull a hole through the fabric! I bought this to replace a sweatshirt lounger that I've had for at least 10 years and my old one is STILL twice as thick as the one I got from Coldwater Creek. I'm so angry that I was deceived by their description of the lounger and now I have to pay shipping to return this piece of junk. I loved the brick-and-mortar stores of the past but this is the last straw for me. I've had to return everything I've bought online due to poor fit or quality. They've lost a customer for good. Now, after reading other reviews, I'm concerned about receiving my refund. Wish me luck.
My order arrived and the 3 items were not as described or so artfully shown in the catalog. The light Indigo skirt (ID: *******) looked like a cleaning rag without shape and horrible fit (the size L fit like an 5XXXX huge). The wheat ridge pants would look better as a clown costume. So I returned the items. I checked up a couple of weeks later and they can't find the 79.95 skirt but had the 21.59 (on sale) pants. So, how can 2 items packed by USPS have the expensive skirt go missing? Believe me, there was "no escape" from the well-sealed package that USPS packed them in. Now, if someone answers the phone there, they are rude, sarcastic and goading, hoping I'll give up and not call back. Is this any way to run a company?
Purchased two items which were way too big. Quickly returned them in original packaging for refund. No refund after several weeks. Had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get money back. Such a shame. Company being poorly managed?
I will never buy from Coldwater Creek again. And it's a shame. Their products are good quality but their return policy stinks. If you use their return label, it can take weeks for the package to get to them because they use DHL to pick it up from your local post office and then get it to Coldwater Creek. Sometimes this can take up to 6 weeks. It's unbelievable. Had I known this, I would have written out my own label and paid for the postage.
I have been a customer for over 5 years. But poor quality, higher prices, charging to ship back returns, cancelling orders weeks after the orders had been placed and the final straw was a rude customer service person who hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I'm done. Terrible new ownership of this once reputable company.
I was attracted to a few sales items, loaded $300 of goods in my cart and went to check if I could get any discounts or cashback. They showed me an offer for 20% off and free shipping for signing up to text messages, which I took, but it wouldn't register at the checkout. Shows that "your coupon is valid," but nothing happens. The lowest shipping on $300 of goods was $19, no free options, plus $40 of taxes. Customer support is only till 5 pm EST on weekdays - that's really limited for modern days. Also, the checkout process was inconvenient - no way to return to the cart until entering all your data including the credit card. The site became unresponsive several times while shopping online. Shopping filters were not applying properly.
Did I mention that there are no reviews?
I was a loyal customer before their restructuring, but this shopping attempt has shown a lot of red flags. I'll take my dollars somewhere else.
Apparently I haven't been paying attention. I shopped this brand- only occasionally- years ago and did not realize that they had gone out of business, and then returned. They shouldn't have bothered. Just received recent order and the stuff hurts. I mean ACTUALLY hurts to have on my skin. Couldn't pull it off fast enough. How are they allowed to call their fabrics cotton? Just wanted a tee and a tank, but what I got was a rash waiting to happen. I've never felt even poly blends that are this nasty. And here's a clue I missed, there are no reviews. That's how I found this thread. After a quick skim it occurs to me that I may never get a refund from this ghastly company but I'm returning them anyway. Optimistic, maybe, but at least they'll be out of my house.
I went online today to ColdwaterCreek.com today to shop sale items. The website said 60% off sale and that sounded good to me. I spent probably 2 hours and selected 19 items to consider before deciding which ones I wanted. I tried to order and it would not go through. I called them directly and spoke to someone and then a supervisor without any satisfaction. It seems the sale was only through Labor Day but their website said nothing about that. In looking for complaints online, there are 222 reviews with only 1 1/2 stars out of 5 possible. I would suggest you not waste your time trying to order anything from them.
A $200 order, I had a free shipping code, however it wouldn't arrive until September 8th. So I opted for the 19.00 2 day shipping. 4 days later, I call. No emails. 3 unanswered calls. Finally they call me... to tell me it hasn't shipped, BUT when it did, it would be 2 day shipping. So, no refund of the 19.00. I explained it was a birthday gift. I needed it. AND I was in a store during this call, keeping very quiet, so others didn't hear my business... and the girl suddenly snaps DONT YOU YELL AT ME! And puts me on hold. Huh? Seriously?! Now 3 more days have passed and its finally processed. Expected in 5-6 days. Still no follow up call. Still no emails. No refund of the 19.00 2 day shipping. No birthday gift for my mothers special day. At this point I will be surprised if it ever arrives. Even knowing how urgent it was, they still didn't process it for days. I don't know if ill ever get it. I used to love this store. NEVER EVER AGAIN. BEWARE.
Have loved CC for years and happy they were back online but I've made my last purchase. Poor/non existent communication. Stalls for responses. Returned an item with no tracking information available over two weeks. They were not motivated to explain or react to my concern. After a couple weeks finally recd a credit for the return, minus a sizeable deduction for return mailing and handling apparently. No communication at all regarding inquiries. An $87 order was refunded as $65.
I think they're finished. Sorry to see it.
Answer: Hiya Jane, Give their customer service a call, the number should be in your confirmation email (don't try to find it on their website). Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
