Where do we start with how bad are Coinbase and Coinbase Pro?
1) Coinbase asked me three times to verify my I. D and each time they confirmed by email that my I. D had been verified and everything was fine.

2) Three times in that same email they said that a $5 bitcoin reward was on its way to my account! That was in December 2020 and beginning of March 2021. The $5 bitcoin reward never appeared in my account...
3) I transfered a small amount of XRP into my Coinbase Pro on Jan 5th 2021. Then coinbase informed me that they were suspending any buy or sale of XRP on their platform which meant that I had to transfer out of Coinbase my XRPs to another platform in order to sell my XRP or buy more... I tried at least half a dozen times to transfer out of Coinbase and within a few minutes or hours I would receive an email informing me that the withdrawal was canceled for the following reason:
"You are currently unable to send XRP. Please contact support."
I contacted many times Support and once they said they have passed my case to a specialist and never heard again from Coinbase.
Myself and my XRP are prisoners of the incompetence of and lack of duty of care from Coinbase.
They want to be listed on the stock market but they can even organise a simple withdrawal of crypto from their useless platform to a better run and managed external one!
What a bleeming JOKE...

This company has less than zero customer support. I am pretty happy i learned it before i transferred money there. Literally, i had one small question about what to put on an application for an institutional account and transfer there couple of million dollars. Tried reaching out to them for three weeks and there is zero feedback. It's a ghost town baby... Going to Gemini after this because i would hate to see how they operate after they already get the money.

This is rediculous. They have literally locked my account four different times now.

The last time, I was told it was due to a technical error and that it was fixed.

Later I was spammed with emails to "verify my identity" (Was done already). After (I'm not joking) five copy and paste responses from their 'support' team, I finally got someone to take 30 seconds to read the message I sent them. I was told this was an error and my account was unlocked. Now my account is locked again.

If you get an actual email response from them, that isn't a copy and pasted message (that has nothing to do with your message), you should go by a lottery ticket because your luck is astronomical.

If you are just starting out, I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs.

Cannot wait till a cheaper method comes along as these fees are insane and should be illegal. Why are they allowed to do this to people and their money?

You join Coinbase by giving them passport details ect, and transferring £2 from your bank account.
They say your logged on and ready to go.
So you deposit money to trade with, in my case £500.
Next they block your account by sending you an email saying "your account is under review" and this may take 2 or 3 days.
No way to withdraw you funds (£502).
After a couple of weeks nothing happens and no way to get your money back.
I open a support ticket with they closed after week saying my request was solved.
I have done this 4 times over the last 8 weeks, same thing, they just closing my support requests.
My account is still under review and I can get my £502 back.
I would recommend that Coinbase should be avoided because they take your money and keep it.
It is a scam.

I just wasted five hours trying to use this app. It is basically a non-functional waste of time, but they WILL steal all your information before you realize it's useless. They have EVERYTHING about me, including photos of my driver's license (which they demanded twice, first shot wasn't good enough), and the app is still unusable. I cannot buy or sell with it, it is essentially an information hawk, and who knows where all my info went? I don't... I can't USE it.
My buddy with a Smart phone told me to use it. His works well. Perhaps, the android app is the problem. I no longer CARE.
I shared everything about myself, and can't use the app. I will NEVER trust them again. Five hours of jumping thru hoops brought me HERE! Don't make the same mistake. They deserve zero stars, and they really HAVE earned it.
YOU give them five unrewarded hours of your life, and all your personal info - tell me you don't agree.

Steer clear of Coinbase! They're completely unethical, as they randomly restrict accounts for no apparent reason & hold crypto purchases hostage while offering no customer service. Their entire system is automated, so there's no way to obtain assistance. All attempts to contact them get auto-reply emails only. Since Coinbase charges exuberant fees, it's ridiculous that they can't offer some customer service. They seem to be catering only to "whales" while sabotaging smaller accounts. Coinbase is a nightmare - please heed this warning! You'll save yourself hours of wasted time & excessive fees!

I wouldn't recommend coinbase to my worst enemy! Customer support doesn't exist. I've sold my bitcoins and having major problems retrieving my cash. STAY AWAY FROM COINBASE!

For months now coinbase has restricted my account. I am a UK customer and was all was fine until coinbase decided my DOB didnt match what they had for me. Basically, the DOB formate is different in the US but obviously my DOB matches and is the same. I must have put in over 20 tickets asking them to address this issue to no avail
The customer service is appealing and I have lost a lot of money because of it. I advise strongly that you dont open an account with them. I also know of other people who have had similar problems and the only option is to close your account.

Horrible! Terrible! The customer service is very slow. The withdrawl availability takes 7 days or longer before you can withdraw. The fees they charge for buying and selling currency is outrageous. Absolutely do not deposit money in this app. I am dissatisfied. Negative starrating! They are scammy and if your money ever got in a bind, you can't contact them quickly or even at all. Try calling their customer service number and see what happens. You'll be deeply saddened. DONT USE THIS APP.

I'm 10 hrs. Into trying to register with Coinbase and their bank linkage software is totally dysfunctional - can't link with TD Band or PNC banks. There is no direct customer support. All of this just to transfer Bitcoin from my Localbit account to a new Coinbase account. Ironic that Coinbase is only interested in my dollars and not my Bitcoin to set up a new account. Additionally, Sitejabber make your policy acceptance box more visible.

On January 6th, 2021 around 9:57 pm I was doing converting some of my DAI crypto to DNT. DAI is a stable coin, which means it simulates the U.S. dollar and stays around $1.00. When I did this transaction it turned my 6,643.52 DAI with was worth $6,657.88 to DNT, which was trading at. 10 cents at the time to $3,932.42. Somehow $2,725.46 magically disappeared from my account! After going back and forth with Coinbase through emails because they do not offer phone service, they refuse to take blame for their mess up and refuse to reimburse me my money. I've spent almost $10,000 in my lifetime with Coinbase and they treated me unfairly. I'll leave some pictures below to prove my case. Please consider going with Binance or Kraken for your Crypto needs! I'm a day/weekly Crypto trader.

I have 'Temporary blocked' account for over 1 month now. Multiple emails sent with screenshots including date and explanation and request to ENABLE account. Tickets raised. Calls made. No response from Customer support. Change of password made. Confirmation emails received. However access to account is not granted for over a month now. I am having account for over 2 years.
Think before registering to coinbase.
Seeking legal advise regards this case.

For 8 days the two factor authentication code is not working. I have requested help on three occasions and other than the canned response saying they will help me as soon as possible, I have not received anything from them.
Once this is straightened out I will be removing everything from this wallet and never use this company again.
Absolute horrible way to treat customers.

Coinbase is totally a scam. They'll sell you crypto at inflated prices due to technical malfunctions on their end. Then they don't give you any customer support, it's impossible to talk to anyone at this company. How they are allowed to operate speaks to the integrity of the judicial system and financial system. You might as well just burn your money at least it'll keep you warm, more than you can say about the non-existent customer support at Coinbase. I would stay very far away from dealing with them.

Coinbase has twice not delivered currency to address or email addresses. It consistently closes cases without resolving the issue. They refuse to explain themselves, or have a manager contact you and there is no phone number to reach a real live human beings.

The truth is, success and failure follows the same path, the same pattern, it's just a matter of habit that determine weather you fail or you succeed. Just like success, you don't fail over night, it's simple errors and judgments practice daily that leads to failure. So it's simple, if you're willing to do what most people are not willing to do, then you could have what most people could never have. I deposited 3000 stellar tokens on my account with correct address and the deposit is still missing 3 weeks so far i write support team 12 times after three weeks i get reply with link to help center and message... fix it your self... their support team is horrible their incompetence is limitless and after showing them proff of my translation still they didn't resolve my issue...
