Coinbase allows you to easily fund your account and buy crypto. The problem is when you try to get your money refunded back to your bank. There is no way to do this on their website, and they just give you stall tactics. I cashed out my crypto, but can not get my money.

I have an MBA, tons of investing experience and a dose of COMMON SENSE that Coinbase.com seems totally lack. Their customer service is BAR NONE THE WORST I've ever experienced and I've travelled in THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES. To say they SUCK is a vast understatement. I hate them INTENTLY, since they made my life with them extremely frustrating. I even emailed the CEO Mr. Armstrong, but all I get is automated replies. They likely are understaffed, have a crummy system with bugs and then on top of that make too much money to even care. If half a star would be available or a negative one, that is my rating of coinbase.com=UTTERLY HORRIBLE! AVOID. DON'T USE.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone. Slow to respond via email. If you ever get locked out of your account it is very frustrating. No live support to talk to. Not worth the cost of commission they charge on trades..

The only thing I use Coinbase for is to deposit and transfer crypto between exchanges and I cash it out on Coinbase for fiat to bank account. Other than that avoid purchasing and converting crypto on their platform as they will stiff you very bad. Trust me I found out the hard way when I entered the CRYPTO realm. Ask yourself this question? How do you think they amassed a $300 billion Empire? In what manner was that money derived or obtained? Well I'm sure most people get the picture.

I invested $150 on Coinbase. I cash in some holdings, and the funds disappeared. I sent inquiries twice, with NO RESPONSE.
I looked again this evening, and all but $0.01 is gone.
DO NOT USE COINBASE!

I deposited over 20K over a period of a month. On my last deposit of $500.00, it locked my account saying that my bank had insufficient funds (that wasn't the case), when questioning my bank, they confirmed the $500 was transacted from my account. I'm still stuck with a pending transaction, and Coinbase transacted $500 worth of bitcoin on my behalf, but didn't close the pending transaction with it. When I logged on to try to transact, the price of bitcoin dropped and I don't the the $500.00 to settle my account. I can't connect my bank account, I cannot use debit card and I can't use Paypal to settle. Based on all of the feedback, is anyone doing a class action suit? If so, I would like to be involved.

The coinbase $10 BitCoin give away is a bait and switch. I received an invite from a friend. So I joined and have invested 700 plus in the last two weeks. Was planning in cashing iutanither $50K plus to out into crypto but was waiting yo see how coinbase handles its promotion and promises. All cryptos have cleared and still not coming through in the promise. It a certain sign of the company when they do these little screw jobs. I will move back to Binance.US by end of day. I had a transaction error for about $2,500 on Coinbase and I never go any help. I then switched to AxisOption wallet and exchange platform and it has been amazing. Their customer service is so fast and here is the good part, for every crypto you buy, sell, send or receive, you can earn up to 10% interests monthly on that.
So goodbye Coinbase and hello to AxisOption

Terrible customer service. Canned email response delivered after 3 months. Answered by bots? No relevance to original questions asked.

Please take note that I only gave this company one star because I had to, in order to write this review. Apparently this company's goal is not to facilitate its customers with making a profit. As soon as I made a significant one, it prevented me for making another transaction, with a bogus ever message, claiming that my bank was rejecting the transaction for insufficient funds. I went to my bank and confirmed that this just was not so. Moreover, my bank informed me that there is no way for Coinbase to know how much funds I have in my account. Clearly, this action on the part of Coinbase is nothing less than to restriction on the average person, to keep him or her from making a significant profit, with a day trade. I will not have my freedom limited this way. Nor will I subject myself to any other missed transaction that costs me money. As such, I will be switching to another platform.

Missing wire transfer...
I did a wire transfer of a large amount of money to my Coinbase account and it never showed up. 17 days have passed and it still never showed up. I reached out to them at least 10 times and only received one auto-response email. Now, I have asked my bank and FIDC to investigate this matter. I hope that they can recover my fund. Their service is horrible!
SO BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET INTO THE SAME PROBLEM I HAD.

They are discriminatory based on your payment method, perhaps even other characteristics. The beauty of bitcoin is that anyone can buy/sell freely by how little/much they want. Coinbase takes that privilege away and uses an algorithm to decide your weekly limits. They set my limit to $5 PER WEEK with the card I supplied & $2000 per week with that card's bank account information. WTH can I do with that? On top of that, even though I was eligible according to their site's criteria to earn cash for buying after watching their learning videos, they'd send me a message stating that I wasn't eligible after watching said videos. I don't like the integrity of the company. I was a coinbase member for approximately 1 hour before requesting my data deleted and closing my account. They are not worth the hassle of the identity verification performed on their faulty software, & I am glad that I gave them a chime account because I did not check the unsolicited reviews before joining. Looks like I dodged a bullet!

You cannot do anything with this site. Completely worthless. They will just steal data and money from you. They do not even have an email id where you can communicate.

Almost 2 months reviewing my account.

They let me deposit funds and crypto but now never open the account or supply any valid response to allow me to recover the funds.
Even had a email saying I can use the account and it was approved.
This is clearly going to end up in court.

Just keep getting told they are busy but working hard to review my account. 2 months...!

Really wouldn't advise anyone to use this.
Ended up with Binance, account reviewed in 24 hours and not had a single issue. Much better in my opinion.

After months of back and forth with their "tech support" via email. They never returned my funds or credited my account. They just took my money but never showed proof of repayment. These people are thieves period. They obviously don't have any humans to answer a one on one conversation. Moving all to Gemini and Voyager!
These guys will be out of business soon enough once everyone has more choices for trading!

Fraudulent company - claims to offer $ bonus for certain sign up and referrals after deposit but then doesn't honor offer. No telephone number or responses from ticket. Would close account but now deposit locked up for tax purposes

I opened an account with coinbase since it had great reviews. The first few times I got into my account it was fine. Now I cannot get in all. It asks for my license so I Have taken about pics of it and it still will not let me in. If you try and fill out the help form to contact them the drop boxes on the website do not work. If you call you cannot speak to anyone. Once I get back into my account I will move my money somewhere else. This is not a good place for help or customer service.
