I've been locked out of Coinbase for 2 months, no fault of my own. It's a glitch on their end.
Zero customer service. No phone. No accountability.
It's an AI emailing and saying "your issue is being looked into by a specialist"
It isn't. I'm one of the countless customers locked out of life savings and Coinbase does not care.

I could deposit easy enough but so far unable to withdraw funds. Impossible to get any help from the company. Say away, check out their rating on the BBB site.

I have been trading stocks, options, bonds for over 25 years. No problem to open accounts online: verify, fund, and start trading. I gave up on Coinbase. Verification process via webcam photo of driver's licence seemed straight forward. However, the process was never completed. Same impossible procedure via my phone app. Time to divest my Coinbase stocks. The company needs to get its software act together.

Awful app awful customer service will temporarily disable your completely verified account for no reason and they have no phone number or love chat to discuss... I've used coinbase sparingly over the years bc everytime, my money is locked up for a week to 30 days for no good reason... I tried using it a few days ago and lo and behold, they temp disabled my fully verified account for no reason... only have gotten bland computer generated replies to my emails. I was told that CoinBase was the most established and best exchange for Crypto.
After full completing my account verification and linking my Wells Fargo Bank account, I tried to make my first BitCoin purchase. For some untold reason, the screen said my purchase was limited to $35,000 even though the linked account had $640,000 in cash available. I tried making a $25K purchase, but got a message saying my purchase was declined and to try again. I tried again and got the same declined message.
There is no way to talk to a representative at CoinBase, nor do they have a "chat" line available. I had to send a complicated message through their website and it took 24hours to get a response. They said they'd fixed everything and that I could now make purchases. However the price of BitCoin had gone up $5,000 in the meantime. I was able to make a $10K purchase, but immediately after, I was shut down again.
I checked with Wells Fargo and they said there was not issue on their end.
I sent another message to Coinbase. Again, after 24 hours, I got another automated message saying my account was ready to go and I was cleared to make purchases.
However, it wasn't true. The website would NOT let me make purchases of any crypto currency at any price – even $50.
Coinbase appears to be an automated system catering to small time investors.
They charge 1.49% commission on all purchases plus they build-in and additional 0.5% markup on the stated price of each currency, plus they charge a transaction fee.
For all these charges, one would expect a high level of customer service, which is absent.
I'd warn any serious investor against doing business with them.

They provide a very secured wallet to their users. They have very good layers of security you cnan use to protect your wallet.

7 DAYS AND COUNTING THAT I HAVE BEEN LOCKED OUT OF MY COINBASE AND COINBASE PRO ACCOUNTS. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE VALUE OF MY TRADES ARE AT THIS TIME. THEY SEND DUPLICATE EMAIL AFTER EMAIL SAYING THEY ARE REVIEWING, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. AT ONE POINT THEY SAID THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED, BUT IT IS NOT.

My account was disabled through no fault of my own (I suspect it was because I cleared my cache). I did verify the account and now have to wait 72 hours. That wouldn't be a problem if they just put my money in the cash account to protect it from volatility. Instead it just sits in the Coinbase account and has lost 25% of it's value (and I can't touch it until Tuesday... maybe I will lose 50% of my value by then). This is the worst customer service of any business I've ever encountered. There is no customer service number and no way to put in a ticket on this issue. Just god awful!

If their system is a human brain it's equivalent to be called $#*!ED. They charged three of my deposits twice. And they took my US dollar in Coinbase wallet bc they HAVE TO charge twice of everything. Basically, I was trying to use my wallet money to buy coins but they charged my bank instead they have no options to use wallet money to purchase? I dispute. My bank return my money Coinbase took the crypto money AND took my wallet money. BC they HAVE TO CHARGE TWICE on everything!

Unable to send out to my wallet, multiple failures with interface. Poor customer support, unable to comprehend the asked question, answers are often off topic. Some of the crypto I sent out to my wallet I never received because the fee was higher than transferred amount even though I did exactly as written on their website for minimum amount transfer requirement + separate network fee. So basically they just stole my money. It's been 2 weeks and so far they were unable to resolve the issue with the lost currency. Yes, I sent it to the correct address! Authorities should revoke their license.

DO NOT use coinbase if you intend to send to a wallet to trade for crypto on alt exchanges. They are still holding the BTC I bought 1 week ago. Says 3 more days until I can send to an outside wallet. Meanwhile watching BTC tank and cannot trade for ARRR!

They'll do you right at the beginning then keep your coins like they did mine. I sent $2500 in XLM to my Coinbase wallet and it never got there. Turns out Coinbase requires an ID memo to complete the transaction. Which means, they received my $2500 in XLM and didn't put it in my wallet. They asked me to send another 15XLM from the same wallet to verify my as the owner. That 15XLM didn't make it to my Coinbase wallet either. So I tried sending from my Coinbase wallet out to my Edge wallet and it works fine. No reply from Coinbase after they asked me to send another 15XLM. $#*! THESE GUYS! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! USE ANOTHER APP! EVERYONE KNOWS HOW CORRUPT THIS CRYPTO MARKET IS. SO, IT SHOULDN'T BE TOO DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND THAT THESE COINBASE $#*! HOLES ARE PART OF THE CORRUPTION.

Horrible companyThe absolute worst customer service ever two months after getting a new phone still waiting for somebody to contact me and I get my money out. Avoid this company money gone no one to contact lesson learned

Can't sell, can't get an answer as to why. Can't transfer out, can't get them to tell me why. Can't even give them 0 stars as it's not an option.

My best guess is that Bitcoin is tanking and I wanted to get out. Now I want out of Coinbase. Planning to use any money I can get back to short their stock. I really thought Robinhood taught these people something, guess not.

Time to talk with a lawyer. They can pay what they owe plus lawyer fees and court cost!

Do yourself a favor, find another place to invest.

My life time work money is blocked on Coinbase. They locked up my account after I wrote a complaint concerning a technical issue from the platform! They didn't even let me remove my money before to lock my Coinbase! I'm so scared and I'm dying. I asked them to ignore my complaint and unlock my account but I keep getting the same automatic msg
