Thought company was good at first, until its time to buy or sell. Too many issues. Always stops working when your ready to sell high or buy low. Account access will be turned off randomly. Once im able again to get my money I'm running.

Terrible service! They don't have a proper customer service center! They don't give timely updates! The rich know what they doing! Do not use COINBASE WITCH TO BINANCE! $GYEN NEEDS FIXING ASAP!

I discovered a fraudulent account under my email address at Coinbase with many credit cards listed as well as other personal information. I was confused however as Coinbase requires a photo ID to create an account. I have a service that investigates ID theft, but Coinbase refused to cooperate and not only was very slow to respond when notified of this fraud but asked inane questions that made me realize that it was very likely a machine responding rather than an actual person. After several attempts to notify them of this fraudulent account, they finally shut down the account and refused on multiple occasions to provide me with the information I requested in order to understand and investigate this ID theft. They seem to have a lax approach to account security that they are further hiding by not providing the information requested that was needed to investigate this fraud. This is concerning given the financial nature of their business.

If you have had your email compromised, I would recommend that you try to open an account with Coinbase to see if your email and financial information were used to open a fraudulent Coinbase account and if so, change the password immediately. Then inquire as to how this account was created with your personal ID without your permission. I suspect that there are a great many accounts created this way on Coinbase, but it would seem that Coinbase is not interested in helping its customers investigate this crime.

I had a lot of money in an account with them and when i tried to unlock my account I wasn't able to even talk to 1 single representative from them to help me. To this day I haven't been able get back in and access my funds. Not to mention the fees the charge is crazy for every buy and every sell transaction you make they charge you. I urge whoever reads this to seek out another crypto brokerage so they don't have to go through the same terrible experience I've had with Coinbase.

Thinking of trying out Coinbase? Just know they don't have a customer service department. You'll have about a 5% chance of getting an answer from them. If by chance you do get your answer, the respond of Coinbase so called "customer service department" will be more then 7 days. If you are trying to put money into Coinbase. Coinbase "customer service department" responds time magically goes up from 7 days to less then 24 hours.
Final conclusion
Coinbase - we have no problem taking you money and delaying your money once we have it. But once you try and move it from Coinbase. We will try our best to make this process as difficult as possible. We won't respond or give you any explanation as to why we are doing this.

Coinbase already has the money they don't care after that.
Almost forgot - if you try and cancel the transaction. Coinbase won't cancel cuase they know you will just withdraw your money from them and never use them again. Lol

Coinbase is an all around BAD INVESTMENT. I have wasted so much time trying to reach customer service for a mistake that coinbase made. There was an issue linking my bank account, and when I called my bank they said other bank customers have complained about having the same issue with coinbase. Coinbase tried to sell my crypto to cover a payment, and there was zero accountability or customer service. I tried to submit a ticket and file complaints with them and it kept routing me to a robot. So now I am selling all my crypto, not something I'd wanted to do, just so I can close this damn account and be rid of them. I do not feel this is a safe app to entrust with my finances. No customer service, no deal. And they take way too many fees for every transaction.

BUYER BEWARE. I sent $100 USDC to Coinbase Wallet from BlockFI. Once the money was there, I tried to send it to Coinbase. Apparently the fees to send $5-$100 is about $70 of Ether, regardless of the time you try and send it. Coinbase said the gas fees are from the miners, not them. They had no way of justifying the transfer fees and Coinbase hasn't replied back to me. Coinbase has always been a rip off, the defi wallet is no different. If you use it, expect to be ripped off. BUYER BEWARE.

I applied to get a coinbase card. After just a week I received an email saying it was shipped. One week later I received another email saying it had arrived. I did not receive it. I then followed prompts on "customer support ", which is nothing more than a robot giving you generalized answers. Finally I had to report as lost or stolen, and they would send me a new one. Fast forward a month later. I received an email once again telling me my card has arrived. Wrong again, actually found a phone number this time. It was about as helpful as the robot. The "support" person told me that it is probably my post offices fault. So I asked why she thought that my post office was in on a conspiracy to keep me from receiving this card, because they deliver all my other mail. What are the odds of them keeping this particular card twice. She said it has to be my post office. I am about done with coinbase period. This is not even a huge deal because card has never been activated. But how helpful are they going to be when something is really wrong with my account.

Pieces of sht for real, I could insta deposit money from my credit card, then as soon as i try and withdraw these mfs go ahead and block the transactions and i work my $#*! off for 45 mins and they finally get me to connect my bank via paypal and now i wait 2 weeks... hmmmm i wonder what their doing w my money for 2 weeeks hhhh

I transferred a large sum of money from my bank to Coinbase 9 days ago. Coinbase cleared and confirmed the cash deposit 3 days later. For the past 6 days, I have been unable to access that cash which is now sitting in my Coinbase wallet. When I try to purchase cryptocurrency through Coinbase, they do not use the cash deposit, instead they withdraw more money from my bank account. They are not allowing me buy anything with my cash and not allowing me to withdraw the cash. The cash is stuck in there. I have tried multiple times to get help from customer service but get only automated replies that are irrelevant. The app is also glitchy and caused duplicate orders, for which customer service was also useless. Coinbase is shady as hell -- my experience with other cryptocurrency platforms has been a thousand times better.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I lost $400 on 1st day using them on a transfer. They Do not care that it's their fault and they simply will not refund your lost crypto for any reason. They just want your money and won't give you any support when they're responsible for losing your funds. A total joke. They are thieves. Buyer beware! If I could give ZERO star, I would.

Coinbase allowed the equivalent of $200k in coins to be stolen from my families account. We are a military family and that was our savings. We got a new iPhone that we were simply verifying our pro account on and somehow within 20min the 2 factor Authenticator was hacked on Coinbase and our entire wallet was transferred. Not once did Coinbase verify this transaction. When we realized the 2 factor Authenticator wasn't working right we emailed Coinbase to shut the account down. They did not do it in time. Coinbase would NOT REPLY for almost 5 days. All they said was somehow the email was changed on the account. Not once was an email sent to the old account stating this and all the hacker had to do was change some settings. After stating that the email was changed Coinbase then said they would not tell us anything else without a subpoena. Not once did we give out our password or email during any phishing attempt and our phone and computers used to login were never hacked. How did this happen?

The day after our account was drained Coinbase did send out a vague email that they had an issue with transactions on the day we happened to get hacked. Coinbase won't acknowledge that email at all.

It is VERY EASY TO HACK COINBASE AND FOR YOUR ENTIRE WALLET TO BE STOLEN. Coinbase will not help you or take accountability when it happens.

1st of all there is no live person to talk to. Takes for ever to resolve any of your problems
Your money disappears and they blame the hackers. It is definitely an inside job.

They're huge scammer company, they charge terrible fee and terrible customer service also too slow.
A terrible fraud company, the government should impose a sanction on this company. Needs to be checked. They stole your money. They brutally rob people.

They change their web site to be less and less informative. Now I can't even see the status of a transaction (sending btc to an address as payment). It's been over 24 hours. No visibility to whether it's complete or not. No hash-value confirmation. Reporting the problem to Coinbase is like standing in line at the Jerry Seinfeld soup **** place. They expect exacting information in the form to report a problem... then they're too busy to respond to it.

Coinbase is no longer credible. They lost their way.

I transfered crypto currency to coinbase website and they ate it up. I lost over $1200 and they said it is not their problem. Don't trust them

If I could rate them 0 I would. They continue to send me responses for support that have nothing to do with my request. They do not read my question, nor answer my question. I have emailed now 5 or maybe 7 different times and continue to get crappy responses that do not even come close to addressing my issue. WORST EXPERIENCE FROM A NEWER COMPANY IN MY LIFE>
