I lost my phone with my SIM card and I couldn't get my number with simple mobile. I tried everything with simple mobile company and they couldn't help me get my number back and I think they are not professional. I have been with the company since 3 years now. I explained the problem to Coinbase customer support and they asked me many proof that I've sent to them. During 2 weeks I've sent all the proof they asked to me without problem. Today 10-18-2021 They say they can not help me and I think Coinbase team are scammers. They scam my $3000.
They scam my ******* + dogecoin and all my others cryptocurrencies. Me and my family with my 3 friends are leaving Coinbase today. We are going to invest in trusted companies. All the others companies( CRYPTO.COM, BINANCE.US, BITRUE, ROBINHOOD) have been able to restore my account without problem in they platform.

They don't accept Bep, so many people lose what adds to millions. They can't take the blame and tell you it's some other company. Hundreds of us have a discord to vent against coinbase…

The worst application if you wanna trade cryptocurrency! Don't ever use it! Day after your money! They don't care about the customer!

I'm new to crypto and 61 years old. I sold my first NFT and it was paid for by the buyer in WETH which I did not know was a coin or that it was not ETH. When I went to transfer it out of Metamask to Coinbase to convert to USD and send to Paypal ($1877) Coinbase accepted the transfer but would not release it to me because "it's a coin they do not handle." However, they could have disclosed that up front, rejected the transaction or sent it back so that I, the consumer, would have options to use my money but they don't care. Customer service is a joke, non existent. I have reems of emails between me and a likely bot at Coinbase where they constantly respond with (we haven't heard from you so we are closing your case in 48 hours and we assume the case is settled) which is a lie, completely inaccurate and every email they have autogenerated I responded to with concrete information, screen shots and polite but persistent requests that they return my money and they refuse to do so. My next step is Congress.

Back in May of this year, my account was hacked and $2000. 00 was taken out of my checking account and I don't know but I will assume that my cryptocurrency was taken also. I have been talking and emailing coinbase for the last five months. I have gotten emails back stating that all I have to do is reset my login and password to open my account. I have tried to reset my info and I have never got an email reply. I just this month I have received an email stating that I may receive a refund for my lost money and to call for support. I did and all I received was I can't help you. If you are on the coinbase platform move your money quickly to another site for your protection. Because they are not here to help.

Coinbase stole from my account Money which were left over after I was hacked. They just simply performed a transaction by selling the leftover coins. They even send me an email stating that I owed them money. I was hacked into the account on October 1st and coinbase is not assisting in resolving the issue. Their customer service is not working, there is no phone number that you can use to speak with somebody and the emails are Very generic. I took a great loss because of this company and they don't feel accountable. Their security is very poor. Do not invest a penny because you will lose it. They are a bunch of thieves and liars and they should be removed from the market.

Appalling!

1. Coinbase has virtually zero customer support (so no matter what happens you can't talk to anyone)
2. Coinbase crashes and should you be doing anything during this time (lag, crash downtime etc) you will cause a glitch
3 If a glitch is caused *(by mistake or design or just pure bad luck) this flags up an instant restriction.
4. If restricted (and you will be) - you are basically locked out - you can login to see how much money you are loosing or making - but it is held hostage. You can't withdraw
5. So you then reach out for help - see point 1
6. You get frustrated and resort to Twitter - and you get scammers offering to help - DO NOT GIVE ANYONE ANY INFORMATION
7. Wait 5 days and still get no reply from any case you created
8. Accept you have been scammed
9. Consider what recourse you have and then accept you have none and let it go

Avoid Coinbase - if this review stops at least one person joining and funding this criminal enterprise and stealing from at least one other person - then that is at least some money they wont get. That makes me feel better - There is a cost to this crime they commit and the more who see it the more it will cost them. I urge you all, if you have been a victicm of COINBASE to POST everywhere you can about it- I am nobody, a small fish in a big pond but I will dedicate my time making this known - COINBASE ARE A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE

We can't even even email them anymore. We have to fill out a form. That form asks you pick from the questions they think are the only questions anyone could possibly have. If your question isn't one on there list you have to lie, just to get the email to support. Then they "ALWAYS" ask for Screen shots, even when you told them what the problem is. Guess they only understand pictures. They've done a fantastic job of hiding from the customers who pay their bills.

Exactly one month after joining coinbase and no other exchanges I became the victim of Sim swap scam. Coinbase allowed an unrecognized device, with an unfamiliar IP, from a location in Raleigh 2000 miles away from where I live to reset my password and then convert and drain entire account. Their first response was to lie and say the thief had my password. When I proved that wasnt the case their second and third response was to lie and say there was never a password reset. When I proved that wasnt the case they simply started their 'ignore you til you go away' campaign. Finally after nearly 3 months they admitted guilt by refunding me about 1/3 the value of my account, (all in Bitcoin as the market hit a high) and told me case was closed and went back to ignoring every communication I sent them until finally one person responded by simply quoting those original lies and telling me to file a case as if we were starting all over.

Worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with in my life. Probably why their company has more people get sim swap scammed than ALL other exchanges COMBINED!

More I think about my Coinbase recent problems, more I guess it works exactly as a scam website disguised in 'official' trading site! I don't trust them anymore, something has to be done collectively to unmask them and put them to jail if guilty. Looks more and more as a Ponzy pyramid SCAM

Ive been trying to get my money out for over 2 months - i put more money in like an idiot as they told me to verify my account - no confidence in them. Id give no stars if that was an option

Stay far away from Coinbase they have the worst support of any company I have ever experienced. You should only use Coinbase if you enjoy having your account locked for months and being unable to get in contact with any human being to resolve it.

My phone lines were stolen and ported and the thieves got into my coin base account. It has been two weeks and I can not get help from them. The phone number does not work. They are not answering my e-mail requests. And I can not access my account to give the police an accurate dollar amount. To sign up for coin base you have to submit a copy of your driver license - So I do not know if the thieves got a copy of my license too. Since Coin Base does not want to work in good faith - soon I will be contacting SEC, Social Media, local news stations and my local politicians for some regulations and anyone else who will listen. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE COIN BASE!

They locked me out without customer service helping and now my money is sitting there. I do not recommend it at all.

Opened and account put money in it from my bank started buying coins over $1000 worth different coins, logged out and cant get back in to my account. There customer service is all computer animation, phone number is computer animation also, email doesnt work
Now i worry ill lose the crypto i bought
Coinbase does not get back to me

Try to log in and nothing
Try to reset password not working
Company can't call or email
No trust do not use coinbase
They are criminals working in the UK
Not the US
I am so dumb by opening an account with them and pray i get my money back

It was the worst experience. I earned very little, and decided to take a risk. We were shocked by the service and rudeness in our direction. I was on the ninth cloud of happiness, because I found. Do not do business with this company they have no life help when there is a problem and they make it almost impossible to get any kind of Account Support

Coinbase has No customer service AT ALL! They have no phone number and never answer emails! It's been a month and no one has given me access to my account! I can't transfer my money out or even access it and there's no one at coinbase to help. PLEASE AVOID COINBASE if you're looking to start buying crypto!
