Let me be short and not waste your time. This is what's wrong with Coinbase:

- 4% fee with every bank purchase of crypto. So, you immediately are at a high loss.
- No customer support on the phone. I wonder why. Maybe because there are too many complaints and they couldn't handle them if they were actually to listen to their customers, who are investing their hard-earned money.
- When you buy something it takes 5 business days for the money to be available to send to a wallet. This means you could miss out on hundreds or thousands of dollars in staking rewards, just because Coinbase's system is so slow.
- Let's say you see the price drop of your favorite crypto, you have 12k in your bank account and you think, "If I buy it now, I'll get it at a good price." You try to buy at the dip for 3k dollars, and uhhm... Coinbase claims that you have "insufficient funds" in your bank account. This hasn't happened once, but a number of times, forcing me to try again later, when the price already spiked.

The sad thing is, many other brokers aren't that much better. This is the crap we get stuck with. Not only are you already taking a risk investing in crypto, but now you have to put up with their clunky glitches and slow systems, hoping that you can get what they claim you are able to, inconsistently getting frustrated because a purchase doesn't go through or sending is delayed. Coinbase has probably made millions of customers lose or lose out on billions of dollars because of this garbage. Fix your problems, Coinbase!

BTC and other coins all took a huge dip today 9/7/21 and exchange has been down for hrs cannot sell or but this is no more than manipulation they are probably in someones pocket not good at all. They should be able to handle any amount of volume I will be looking into a DEX No exuse for this I wouldnt recomend them to no one!

On August 23rd 2021, due to failed Coinbase security, my account was taken over and my account was drained. I don't know if it was an inside job or not. I suspect that it is. How would someone get the information necessary to access my account? My account had $5004. 95 in it. They sold most of my coins and transferred the funds to an account in Sweden. Then they bought $1000 Ethereum and $10,000 Bitcoin using my bank account. I called my bank and was able to stop the transaction in time. We are in the process of buying our final home. I normally don't have much in this bank account. I just use it for bill paying purposes. I just happened to have transferred all the money we had in the world to this account for our closing costs $17,500. I don't know whether this was coincidental or someone was watching my account. My wife and I were devastated when we had seen that we were being robbed. My wife almost had to be hospitalized over this due to stress and panic. Neither one of us are the same to this day. What little investment we had for the future was gone, and now we are going to owe the IRS for this. We feel completely violated and now wonder if this person has all our information. Now we are having to deal with the stress of this on top of the moving stress. We blame failed Coinbase security for this. We trusted Coinbase to keep our information safe. If there were extra measures we should have done to protect our account then we should have been made aware of this when we opened our account. I have been in touch with everyone I can to help rectify this including my good friend who is a lawyer and my brother in law who is a Federal Judge. I am a member of the Facebook group "Coinbase Corruption/Scandal Awareness Group. I have signed every petition I can that is available over this issue. I will be sending a reminder message to Coinbase regarding this every so many hours. I do not give up. I absolutely will not stop until my money is returned to my account, I sue you for everything I can get and win, or Coinbase is shut down for their lack of customer support and security. Which ever comes first. Case #*******

On 9-4-21 my account was fk with I've called there customer over 4 times over the weekend just for some one to please confirm that no funds were removed from my savings. And they can't tell me anything mean today the market crashed and I was unable to sell any coins cause they have locked me out. I truly recommend UPHOLD am also have long some ID issues with them however they let you sell and even buy while your in a Hold. The minute I get cleared to touch my coins I will sell all and close COINBASE it's TRASH! Am living proof am sooooo

I have a history of traumatic experiences trying to access my account. While they pretend they want you to access your account, they block you every inch of the way with their ai programmed to non be able to verify your name, address and electrical bill? When they have my profile and money and they know my info!?

Yu cannot believe how this constant whirlwind of pretend security protocols have wore me out... its only on the 2 nd an 3rd that i realized they are psychos abusing of their power.
While they do this they keep asking you questions to harvest info.

They are sik bastards parasiting on the crypto industry. After all these attempts they just blocked me from sending them a request to transfer my funds... lately they pretend they can't accept the login password that I CUT AND PASTE INTO the page TO SUBMIT MY NOTE TO THEM.
THEY PROGRAMMED THEIR F AI TO BLOCK ME EVERYWHERE.

My name is Amy. I am a regular person who started investing in cryptocurrencies last year. Coinbase is a popular cryptocurrency trading platform. I have bought and sold several cryptocurrencies on Coinbase with no problems until 2 weeks ago. I noticed two recurring debits from Coinbase on my bank statement. Each charge was $20.00, one week apart. I checked Coinbase to see if I had set up a recurring buy and forgot about it. I had not, and there were no credits to any of my crypto holdings. I have sent them three messages, including a secured download of my bank statement showing the fraudulent charges. The replies I have received made it obvious that no one had looked into it, nor do they care to resolve the issue. This forces me to report the fraud charges to my bank and remove all my holdings from Coinbase. This is extremely disappointing because I have a Coinbase debit card. Those $20.00 charges were not a result of my using the card. I have only used the card twice, for different amounts.

I signed up and referral and me did not get my 10.00 in bitcoin. They got their money from paypal that moment and then put a hold on my account. I wrote 6 emails and was told i can only sell what i have and they can not say how long it will take for me to get my money. Too bad i have to give them one star. They are worthless!

I've been trying to reach costumer services over 40 days all I get different email and different responses. I can't imagine those investor who been hacked and lost all their money and looking for coinbase to address the issues for months.

Very unhappy with how they handle a security breach.

I've recently fell victim to a phishing/ scamming email and lost all of my coins that were both in my Coinbase and Coinbase Pro account. In addition to losing money, I also nearly lost my identity. These hackers has access to my date of birth, personal address, phone number, and email. They were able to change my legal name on Coinbase.com to where I was no longer able to verify my own true self in order to reset my account information. It isjust unfortunate how easy it was for these hackers to gain access to not only to my coins/ money, but also my personal information. Additionally, I immediately locked my account, but these hackers were still able to purchase an additional $1,000 of coins, which charged my personal banking account. I am still questioning Coinbase Support as to if my account was even locked upon my initial request. Overall, it was frustrating not having a real person/ customer service agent to speak with over the phone and only having the option of communicating via email, which were mainly generic, bot type responses. It took at least a full week before I received any usable information, and I am still in the process of reclaiming my account. Coinbase is a great and efficient platform for beginner traders, but when a security breach occurs, you will not only lose your coins, investments, and money, but potentially your personal identity.

Coinbase has the most aggravating form of "customer service" i have ever had the displeasure of encountering. They had an email option where you could send email. Now that is closed. I have spent hours trying to get help with funds i have sent to coinbase and confirmed, yet i do not have the funds. It not an option in they'r help page so there is no way to get help, and the phone number is a joke there is not even a srevice that answers it its a recording. Coinbase sucks. They are the most convenient as soon as you need them oir they take your funds, its all bad. Coinbase is a expensive waste of time

I have some coins and sent it to a wrong wrong address. I have asked them to retrieve the coin and instead of doing that they disabled my account because they suspect of a scam in the address I sent the coins. Further more I was advice to report it to the right authority. I was disappointed because this is an opportunity for them to find ways to solve problems like this because we trust them with our money but instead they do not want tot take any action to save us "customers" who helps them succeed on their business.

I saw a lot of good reviews that was written towards the Recoverycharter.com << which I followed the instructions of the reviewer on how to recover my funds and I got to the site and tried to contact them. Well am very grateful for what they did for me and all works perfectly.

ON OR ABOUT JUNE 20th 2021 MY PHONE WAS "SIMM SWAPPED" LEADING TO MY ACCOUNT AT COINBASE BEING COMPROMISED. COINBASE LOCKED MY ACCOUNT. I FILLED THE REQUIRED FORM OUT AND RECEIVED A CASE NUMBER AND NEVER HAVE HEARD A WORD BACK, KIND OF SCARY WHEN YOU HAVE FOUNDS SETTING THERE AND UNABLE TO ACCESS IT. DATE OF THIS WRITING 8/15/21

Is terrible I try to open my account and the security don't let open I call is not any answer only automatic service and don't resolve my problem I try to sale and buy unfortunately I can my next step to find out haw I can get my money back and open account in different company they are the worst very poor costumer service don't get trap

I strongly recommend not using Coinbase. They are completely nonresponsive after weeks of trying, and I cannot get my money out! I have written various government agencies to complain, and am awaiting their response. My next step is a lawsuit.
You will be completely ignored - only receiving automated messages. Before placing any funds into this company, try for yourself to get a response. I fear they may have stolen my money.

I always make purchases using coin base and never gave a problem. All of a sudden without doing your research you say I need to send verifications. This has already been sent months ago. I purchased $11 of Bitcoin on coinbase. However coinbase will not allow me to send this money to my portfolio on IQ sent it will not give me credit for my purchase that is clearly documented when I try to reach out to coinbase and use the form that is provide for me to explain my issue, they just keep sending me a generic response back they do not address specific issues.
I think that they are using Bots to generate their emails for them. Please refund my money.
