Coinbase is the worst of the worst. I had everything stolen from my account plus I owe money because the culprit bought more tokens from money out of my bank, converted it, and exchanged it. All this within 2 minutes. I had a block at my bank knowing something was going on but since the deed was done before the bank transfer took place, I owe coinbase more money even though my bank blocked the transaction. Customer service was lousy, it took a month to recover my account only to be told your $#*! out of luck and you owe us money. No effort whatsoever to help recover it. Too much work, I guess. It really almost seems like an inside job the way it all went down. Maybe I'm just a conspirative. My advice STAY FAR AWAY FROM COINBASE. THE RISK ISNT IN YOUR INVESTMENTS, THE RISK IS TRUSTING COINBASE WITH THE SECURTIY OF YOUR MONEY.

Coinbase support is an automated joke. I had a very simple problem that I requested assistance with. The problem was that coinbase changed my XLM memo without notification which made a predetermined payout from 'unmineable' imposssible to complete. I asked for an explanation as well as to have the memo changed back to the original. I am convinced that no human works for support. They ask for other information that is irrelevant to my query. Do not get sucked into the convenience. They do not care about their users whatsoever. I will be doing research on a safe alternative wallet/bank bridge. I suggest you do the same.

Would love to review the platform, but was literally trapped in a recurring loop just to try and get verified. Life is too short - Crypto.com, here I come...

Coinbase nickel and dimes you to death until you are immune to the $20-$40 transactions fees--whether its transferring crypto, buy/selling, or trading. I think just in the past 2 months I have spent over $300 dollars in transaction fees with coinbase. I think they need to be investigated by the SEC. No other crypto exchange charges users this much for basic services. F'off Coinbase!

This needs to stop. Coinbase has the worst customer service. Meaning you can't even reach one so you are stuck not being able to access your account or trades for weeks. Horrible. CEO should be embarrassed

They make it very easy to add money to your account. And extremely difficult to get it out.

I have been waiting for going on 3 months to get my money back. They have been 'reviewing' why my account was disabled for no apparent reason. I have sent countless emails and still, they are reviewing my account and holding my money. It's too late to ask my bank to get it back, so now I am just waiting for this 'review' process. At this rate, they might keep my money

I am actually very surprised to see all of the negative reviews about Coinbase. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the app and in trading crypto. It periodically will give you opportunities to learn more about crypto and to earn $$ - since I downloaded the app less than a year ago I have racked up over $50 in free crypto. Yes, there are improvements that I think should be made to the app but overall you can't argue with free crypto rewards! I thought I should put this here for whoever is concerned. Coinbase also did me dirty by locking me out of my account for over 3months, I didn't get no response after I called and messaged repeatedly, all I was getting was some annoying automated replies. After a lot of research, I finally got back into my account yesterday! Not with the help of Coinbase. It was Vtechforensics on Skype that assisted me with the right process to get my money out of the locked account. I had a lot in there so I couldn't just ignore. It's been 2 months I have wanted to close down my account and in doing so they have locked my account so I cannot access it since I started to close my account I have 90 days to send my crypto elseware. I have tryed everything to get in my account hours and hours talking with support and they keep running me in circles. Not to mention countless emails. The pic is of were is gets stuck trying to login. The other pic is the email they keep sending me. I haven't done anything illegal. I don't know what else to do they are going to end up taking the crypto after 90 days.

Warning: Do NOT invest with, or do business with, Coinbase.com. Just prior to covid, I invested a small amount with Coinbase#. It did quite well. In November, they sent me 4 alerts about suspicious activity in my account, and asked me if I had authorized them (three internal transactions, and withdrawing money from my bank.) I had not, and immediately responded "NO" to all four. The next day, they tried to withdraw the money! - fortunately, I saw their attempt on my bank account, it was listed as ‘pending', and I was able to stop it. Meantime, however, they allowed the hackers to completely empty the account I had entrusted to them. They refuse to take any accountability, sending me repeated Form emails blaming me, repeating that they are not responsible for anything and will do nothing, and thanking me for my "patience and understanding" – of which I have neither. And now, they are actually Dunning me, saying I owe THEM the $1000 that I stopped from being transferred! I've reported this with a Formal Complaint to them, filed a Police Report, and reported them to the SEC. But probably the best thing I can do is advise anyone who will listen to Never do business with these people.

BEWARE of Coinbase! Coinbase has a license to steal written into their service agreement with their clients, and they use it. This is what happened to me…

I opened a Coinbase Pro account in order to try to get some financial gains through crypto investing. Several weeks into the project, my ability to buy, sell, convert, or withdraw funds was blocked. No notice or explanation was given. When I submitted a support ticket to Coinbase, I was eventually informed that my account had been blocked for "security" reasons. Explanation was specifically denied by quoting the consumer agreement which Coinbase themselves had just violated by denying me the use of my account.

I was told I could find out after a one month wait if my account was "eligible" to be reviewed for reinstatement. I was forced to wait until December 10th, when I again asked for my account to be unblocked. I was required to go through the complete identity verification process again, including an additional verification from Microsoft. Now after several days' wait, I have again been informed that my case is not even "eligible" for review to determine if they will bother to unblock the account. Again, any explanation or communication as to what triggered the issue, was specifically refused. The next date for an alleged consideration is January 17,2022.

I have been denied access to my account for approximately six weeks now. Coinbase, contrary to its promise in the agreement to afford customers a secure platform to enter the crypto trading world, has unlawfully prevented me from having "full control of your crypto" and from being able to "invest, spend, save, earn, and use," or withdraw funds. I have called on Coinbase to simply release my investments so I might remove them to an honest exchange and cancel my Coinbase account. They refuse. This is completely unreasonable. No other industry seizes customer assets for "secret" reasons.

Information on the internet confirms that this theft of private accounts (hundreds) is a common practice with Coinbase. They cite section 7.7 of their service agreement, claiming a "security issue" then they appropriate the assets. Since they refuse to identify the issue, one has no idea if the claim is real or fraudulent. No explanation or recourse is offered to the client. At this point, it appears that my crypto purchases are in far more danger from Coinbase than from any hacker. It is no surprise that there is a current class action lawsuit against Coinbase over this exact issue.
Coinbase is a den of thieves, BEWARE!

I suspected my account was hacked and when I called Coinbase the agent told me everything was fine and that was literally it and she said once my account is recovered that I'll just be able to login. A couple hours later, 1500 was taken from my checking and my investments were complete gone and transferred to another account. If the agent locked my account initially like she should have instead of bull$#*!ting me and saying everything was fine I would not have lost the large sum of money that I did. Now I have a case open that's going to take god knows how long while the money is gone. They will certainly be hearing from my lawyer if this isn't resolved given this became a liability issue because of their terrible service. Mind you I also had to contact them several times and got hung up on as well. Avoid this platform if you could by all means. Worst service out there which should not be the case when peoples finances are involved.

Miner fees are a total scam. Many people are unable to move coins from wallet to Coinbase account because of this major issue. Each time I try to transfer coins the transfer fails yet I am still hit with the miner fee. I am beginning to think this company is full of bad practices and unscrupulous individuals. I can't even watch the NBA game on tv today because the sponsor is Coinbase! Bravo

I have talked to several employees and read dozens of emails they sent me. Each telling me to do thing. It is horrible service. Emails are from bots. This has been going on for a week now. They are holding my money and now telling me to add more money to my balance. There employees must be scamming people. My next move is to get the BBB involved. I would stay away from this company at all costs. WHAT A FREAKING HEADACHE. NEVER EXPERIENCES ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY 47 YEARS ALIVE.
