I have been using Coinbase for several months and at first things were fine. However someone changed the password on my account and it's been over two weeks and I still don't have access to my account. I'm in a horrible loop of resetting and waiting for them to follow up. I call repeatedly and they say the same thing—wait 24-48 hours and you'll have access. Two weeks later, hours on the phone with inept representatives and no way to escalate. Once I get access to money I'm closing my account.

I had $10,000 staked in Ethereum. Hackers got into my account so I had my account locked the same day. Their customer service reps end with knowing how to lock your account. Everything else is "escalated" to the fraud department that you can't take to but through generic emails. I was able to talk to one rep who told me that he can see that in my account I have $0 and actually a balance left owing.? How the f*** so I owe money? The only activity I've had on my account was when I staked that money MONTHS ago! Now it's gone, I owe them, and nobody knows how to help or cares to.

You want a job doing nothing at all? Apply for Coinbase. You don't have to do much and I'm convinced you bonus when they successfully empty a clients account.
The photo shown is a screen shot of the last email I received from them. Did you resolve my issue? Are you f****** kidding me?! You have access to my account? You tell me it's the issue is fixed. I have explained the situation again and again and again. I'm going in circles.

Repeatedly sought help in the setup and verification of my account, and all I can get is an immediate account deletion, over and over. When trying to figure out the problem, I just get shutdown repeatedly. Customer service does not exist.

I will never use coinbase again. If you have a problem, there is no support to help you except a computer who always tells you I don't understand. Then they repeat instructions that don't work. There needs to be different options to do the 2 step verification. It takes about 6 hrs to get a text message to my phone. By that time, you have been signed out and have to start all over again. I will never get into my account this way. I just want my money out.

I have had coinbase for a month now and to this day still haven't been able to perform a single transaction or is transaction or gain access to my money I call support all the time they give me the run around keep saying they are gonna escalate my case my case and I never hear back from anybody the whole company is a total sham.

My money was stolen off my account and was told I was going to get my money back but money never came back and now they are telling me they can not get my money back app is trifling and dishonest

I investigated Coinbase practices of buying and selling with 3 computers. I was on Coinmarketcap to get the true dollar value which was $3.33. I then hit sell and buy at same time on 2 computers on Coinbase site. It showed $3.31 at time. Now, the sell price was $3.25. And the buy price was $3.33 cents. I wrote them several times about it. On GYEN especially. They are not interested. When I buy I get charged more. When I sell it is always at least. 05 cents less than the fair price.

$1500 is gone from my Coinbase account after they claim I changed my email address and now cannot access my account. I use a protected pc on a private line that is used for banking only. I have had no security breaches on any of my other accounts at other institutions. I have not changed my email or phone number ever. If they have my funds in an account under a new email how can it not be tracked or investigated with an IP. They state you must log in from a registered computer. They have told me after 5 calls and multiple emails I just need to create a new account. And there 2 factor identity security is worthless. Very disappointed in Coinbase.

I joined Coinbase on a friend's recommendation that it is the biggest and best crypto exchange. For me it was problems from the start and no help from their so-called "Customer Support". In order to do instant "Buys" I wired a substantial sum to CoinbasePro as well as cash to Coinbase. The funds appeared immediately in my wallets and were immediately frozen. Firstly when I logged in, successfully with UN/PW and cellphone code, I was asked for ID verification, that I supplied with an extremely clear, tried and tested Driving License (back and front), and mugshot with their absurd dated "for coinbase trading" sign next to my mug. After 5-7 such failed attempts, I began my epic (2-4h) discussions with their "Customer Service" - telephone calls and emails. The call team were mostly arrogant, surly, even rude, and totally unable to offer any help whatsoever, except that I would need to wait. Despite never having even made a trade, my account was frozen for 2 weeks and no one could explain why or what I could do about it. On the final call, I asked to speak with an accounts manager to withdraw my funds and close my account. I was told that the managers were not available but someone would call me back in 24-48 hours - which they didn't. It is now more than 1-week since I opened the account and my "Buy" is still disabled and the "Help team" seems to have lost interest in me. So, I searched Google for Coinbase complaints and found many. Seemingly they don't even care much if their customers are hacked and lose their entire wallets - not insured and not our problem seems to be the attitude. Just hoping now that I can get my money back out and move on to a more reliable crypto site. My recommendation is "Dont Use This Site"; find one of the many others that may be smaller but user friendly, reliable, hopefully insured and that allow you to trade crypto!

I transfered $350 from my bank account to my coinbase debit card on the 20th of January 2022. I returned the money back to my card the same day and i still havent recieved it today is the 31st. I work hard for my money just be stolen. They have no direct communication with there staff concerning any issues. This company is a piece of $#*!, dont deal with them! Youve been warned they are criminals.

Brought this to their attention, they never once read an email. Just responded with generic crap.

THEN THEY BANNED MY ACCOUNT, and are refusing to remove the ban so i can close the account down and take back my money

What a nightmare! As I am writing this, I have been trying to fund a new Coinbase account for four days. Their system would not link to my BOA checking account. Called customer support on day one and was told that their verification system (Plaid) was down. Contacted c/s and continued to try every day until day four. Told the same thing each day until they finally started blaming my bank (which is an approved Plaid bank). I tried auto account verification, manual verification, even tried to wire funds to the account. Nothing worked. Customer Support and the complaint departments are clueless and just kept repeating the same useless solutions. I finally gave up and went to TradeStation, where I had an account set up, attached to my bank accounts in less than 30 minutes. They were fully funded same day using wire transfer. My account funding was a fairly significant amount, so Coinbase lost a good potential customer to TradeStation. If you value your time, stay away from Coinbase!

Scam, Scam, Scam. All for the rich to get richer. If you like money don't use Coinbase App because it's designed to take your hard earned money.

Extremely high fees. Can't even write reviews on appstore, thats why they have 4.7 stars. It literally cost me more then i was sending to metamask.

I did a wire transfer to Coinbase and followed their wire instructions perfectly. After 2 weeks my money isn't in my coinbase account or returned to my bank. The Coinbase customer service is one of the worst experiences I've had. They basically say they can't do anything and won't offer a solution.

Impossible customer service that could care less!
Takes a week just to get a email responce an a they just give you a generic cut and paste responce!
They totally screwed up my cost bases on a conversation and couldn't get anyone to give a damn!

Coinbase violated it's identification policies and allowed someone to access my account, steal 28k of ether out, then access my bank account and transfer 28k as well. Sad part was i received a notification from both my email and phone companies at 11:00pm that this fraud was being executed. I immediately called the "hotline to suspend the account. At 5:10am after ignoring my stop Coinbase transfered my money to the thiefs. It took a month for me to access my account. Coinbase's response was basically tough luck, complaint closed. All done by email. I my opinion, their view is "too bad try to sue us."

Then with death of son tried to transfer his account. I uploaded all information. I got back email to provide information. 48 hours later got email that request was closed without them fulfilling transfer. Eventually resent same information and got transfer. But what a joke. Find somewhere else to manage your crypto unless you want to lose your money. This company should not even exist and definitely should not be public. Good luck investors.
