I have purchased crypto from the Coinbase Exchange and opened a Coinbase Wallet. Their verification process to link the two will not work and their customer service bot won't answer the problem. When I try to transfer their exchange keeps wanting to charge me full purchase price each time.
So I have crypto sitting on their exchange and no access to it. THIS IS DISGUSTING!

Coinbase never put through a transaction with my bank denying me the purchase of Bitcoin at 30,000.00. They claimed that there were insufficient funds. Liars. Not only there are sufficient funds to make 100 similar purchases, but they never put the transaction through and locked me out for five days. I will be closing my account with them and will tell everyone I know NOT to do business with them. Crooks!

Don't use this site. It is not safe or secure. Hackers are targeting Coinbase because of their failure to protect their customers. The site will not help you either if you have money taken from their site.

I have called Coinbase support at least 10 times the last 2 days. For some unknown reason my account has been limited to $250 with a hold for 10 days from my bank account to my coinbase account. I also uploaded $10 as a test and coinbase has put it on a 10 day hold. They tell me it's for security purposes. They can't tell why there are limits to both the amount and the holding period.

There are also too many people in the call center making it impossible to understand. So frustrated by their lack of support

I think the support team is useless. Time to find someone else.

They advertise that they have a live support. In reality, the customer service is located outside of the USA. They have zero knowledge abut the platform. They can not answer your questions but also give you the wrong information. It is the same as you communication with the bot. The customer service representative sends you email with,, instructions,, how to solve the problem. They refuse to connect you to the higher level.

Had $28,000 STOLEN, COINBASE WON'T reinstate the funds.

Coinbase is dishonest with its protection pol. Account was attacked and instead of standing behind their guarantee, they blamed Me, asking things like if I've ever used public wifi or clicked a link in an email.

They SAY that they protect your funds but being that they can blame the wallet holder ANYTIME (and do), this is false. There is also no customer service. You will get a non US who reads scripted responses over and over again.

I thought the concept was good and user interface is pretty easy, however over time this appears to be a losing situation. I liked that by learning about different types of crypto systems you would earn money in that system. Except that I earned a total of $40 this way and over the past 2 years I find that it is always a continual downward trend. Without doing anything like adding more funds, purchasing more currency, I wanted to see if investment would be worth it. I now have a balance of $13.00. The value consistently trends downward and always loses value in the end. From $40 to $13 in 2 years. Glad I did not invest actual money just to see it dwindle down to nothing.

For starters I've had to relink my account numerous times with still no definite answers to why. After relinking the first time I was able to trade for a while with no problems. Then again recently the same problem with needing to relink my account. Relinked the account AGAIN and now am being told I have insufficient funds (which is complete crap!) The only response I get is that their third-party (plaid) is responsible for that aspect of things and or my bank is to blame. Again, complete crap and excuses! Coinbase needs to be responsible for their third-party that handles their customers transactions which are being prevented from being made! At the same time emailing back and forth with coinbase I was literally getting notifications about the crypto I was previously trying to buy and was unable to and essentially lost money due to the fault of the "third-party" and or "ignorance" of coinbase! I've since emailed asking how coinbase now plans to correct and reimburse myself as well as others in which have had these same problems. So far they have lived up to the title of this review "sufficient BS" in a glorious and expected manner with no response!. Will definitely keep everyone updated and please feel free to share your lovely coinbase disappointments as well!... FYI, a posted image of that notification I received while being prevented prior to from buying that asset and in the middle of emailing back and forth with coinbase as I stated previously in this review. The second image is just food for thought!

Coinbase wallet is not safe at all! I had my cryptos stolen from my wallet and Coinbase just reply standard answers saying they can't do anything. I never give my 12 word to anyone and even though someone joined my wallet by a flaw from their system. There is a flaw in their system as the thief is keep doing. Skip away from them. Case created #******* and #******* but nothing is solved.

I have a Coinbase credit card. I always noticed several $1000 charges Friday m different companies, but they were declined. They smartened up and tried and succeeded in a $23 charge to a funeral home that I never heard of. I called Coinbase and they said to call the funeral home. What service, they are a scam.

Literally stole $100 from me. They never owned up to this or returned my money when I called them out multiple times from support. Never bothered posting a review even though they had such horrible customer service I waited for like 2 weeks for a response only to get nothing back from them. No understanding of the situation, no apology, no refund, just nothing. A year later, icing on the cake, I try to login to my account and it says my account is blocked, and the UI has no insight on how to unblock it or why it was blocked or anything. This company is so incredibly incompetent compared to any normal business it is staggering.

Coinbase.com sucks. It is too restrictive with your assets. I purchased BTC from a ATM machine and sent them to my wallet. I wanted to send them out to my trader. Coinbase prevented me from sending out my coins. They have one restrictive protocol after another so that they make it almost impossible to get your assets out of their platform. They are great if you have a large asset value that you want to keep secure. Trying to get your assets out of this platform are horrendous. They are too restrictive. They are far too many unneeded security protocols in place to make it an effective platform for trading.

Stay away from them and use one of the other hundreds of platforms that are more user friendly.

Unable to get help once Coinbase deactivated my account after it had just verified my ID. No chat or phone support and worthless help section. Also accounts had been set up using my email address in the past without my knowledge and Coinbase refused to tell me how they had been verified. They did contain old credit card numbers probably from sites that had been hacked. Coinbase has very poor security procedures when it is not you but when it is you they lock you out for no reason and you cannot get any help.

My account was hacked in Coinbase some weeks ago and they did not provide any help whatsoever! Incredible... All my funds were taken from my account and these guys won't take any kind of responsibility. What I have done so far to retrieve my funds and force Coinbase to take responsibility:

Coinbase is a JOKE, I can't really understand how a company that implements such horrible security protocols can actually be listed in NASDAQ, they should take full responsibility for this hack! Shame on them!

I transferred 500 cro from crypto.com to coinbase and because it was done on the Cronos blockchain they told me my money is simply lost. No one can tell me where it went or who has it or how to get it back it's just simply lost and they couldn't care less. Between their ridiculous fees and their we don't need you attitude I suggest no one use this app. I've moved all of my cryptocurrency to other apps. Do not use coinbase

They have blocked sell/buy transactions just after I have bought crypto. No explanation, but 'we need an additional review' that may last 90 days. Customer service chat is not working. No response for e-mails. I read the article that "an additional review" means requesting sensitive personal and financial details. The most strange thing is the User Agreement. First, they can suspend activity w/o any explanation. Second, they may suggest due diligence meeting in person to accumulate info.
