Okay look, I realize Bitcoin is a big deal nowadays but, just because somebody sends you a link and gives you $10 free... DOES NOT MEAN IT IS FREE, KIDS!
Do your homework read up on Coinbase and the things that they can do to your bank accounts and the thing you said other people can do to your bank account through Coinbase... NO BUENO!
This is your money your hard-earned income we are talking about-Do you really want it to disappear like *POOF* and there's nothing you can do about it?
Like I said do your homework and think this is my money I'm smarter than that and put it back in your wallet. Thank you and have a pleasant day!

Stay away. Zero customer support. They run you in circles. My account was locked and they offered nothing in support. A horrible company.

Worst ever. Like many of the other reviewers here, same issues. They are a total scam and just straight out lie to their customers. I have been with Coinbase for 10 years and have been fully KYC'd. They have my drivers license, social, etc all on file. Suddenly a few days ago, my account was "blocked". I called them and they told me they suspected something fishy was going on because I had $8000 in my account. They locked me out for 24 hours, made me upload a TON of personal information... Then the next day suspended me again. It went on and on for days. I finally got my account back and lost $800!

Total disgrace.

I got locked out of my account when I got a new phone. There is no customer service to talk to. Just A. I. that keeps reverting me in a circle to tell me I don't have an account. Super disappointing and I don't know if I will ever get my $ back!

I'm really tired of Coinbase. I signed up today and provided my license for verification which was successful. No more than 20 minutes later it asked me to go through the same verification process again which is ridiculous. I do a lot of crypto business with other exchanges and will not do business with yours. Your process is absolutely insane, and this comes from someone that owns a global security company.

It's astounding how bad Coinbase support is. I've been trying to get an institutional account opened for over a month now. I send them an email every day asking for an update, and if I'm lucky I get a response once a week. They do not care at all about maintaining client relations. This application process is supposed to take a week. I have given them everything they need with prompt responses, and they cannot reciprocate at all. They don't care. And they don't pretend to either. Their responses are so aloof.

Coinbase originally setup my account with 400 Bank transfer ability. However, they would only allow for $5 in credit card purchases. Then this last Sunday they increased it to $50. Today I can't purchase using a bank transfer or I can only purchase $10. Basically, these amounts make the whole account useless. I called Customer Service and they gave me the run around. They would not transfer me to a supervisor or manager. Basically it leads to believe ALL OF COINBASE is a Very Bad product.

My account was placed on manual review, Coinbase did not even send me email to explain why? After
1 month contacting them finally coinbase said that they needed a drivers license update and my picture. My driver license has not expired, and they have already had my picture. Any way I sent them my Driver license and Picture but still Since then they have not fixed my account. I have used coin base since 2017. Customer service is 0. This exchange needs to be avoided. Worst exhange by far. I was hoping one day this review could be changed.

I've been with coinbase and coinbase wallet about 2 years. Just know when you need your money it won't be available or it will be at a very high price. Recently, BTC hit 42,000+. My goal. I got no sleep for two days because there is no alert to wake you if you hit your goal. I did finally sell BTC@$41,740. I was only paid $41,540 per BTC. I tried to remove my other alt coins to sell from coinbase wallet and cannot. Fees are hundreds of dollars to move my money from my wallet. They also charged to put my money in my wallet. Customer service says it's due to system congestion. So I cannot sell those assets. Now trading is down due to maintenance. When prices are high, this is the norm. If you want to make money better look elsewhere.

If I can save One Person the Headache Coinbase will give you...! Just trust what you read! HORRIBLE!

Its been 3 weeks and im trying to recover my account so far nothing was done. They always send their generic email they work hard and doing their best.
They have international call that does not accept international calls and basically dont work
They only have coinbase phone support but they include coinbase pro to make it look like they both have customer service.

If you want to be meserible like many of us here go a head sign up as for me I just want to get the hell out of this company asap. Dealing with them is exhausting. They just dont care

5 days ago Coinbase log me out when I went to log back in it said incorrect credentials. I know my credentials are right so I went along with it anyway. I tried to reset my password but it wouldn't send me any kind of code or anything to my email. It Would send me back to create account. I tried to create an account using my same email and it said it already exists. I called coinbase they cant help, one person said wait 24 hours other one sent me a link that brought me back to reset password with the same outcome. So now i cant get in my coinbase account at all.

It appears coinbase is nothing more than a scam they took money out of my account and here I am 8 Days later because of what they say as security reasons I'm still not able to have access to my funds. They changed the rules in midair and have created nothing but a miserable experience. I urge anybody considering doing business with coinbase to take your money and run and don't look back... In my whole life I've never experienced anything more ridiculous. You've been warned!

Someone stole money from my account, Coinbase didn't help. Just emailed that is not there problem.

Its day five, my coinbase balance is displayed big as life. Its as good as owning a picture, cant cash out, trade it or sell it. Paypal all over again, lets see how long we can hold your money for security purposes, sent my i.d. in 4 days ago. I recommend bitpay or paxful they can verify you and you have control of your money the same day.

Absolutely horrible. They can legally steal your money and there is not one thing you can do about it. The customer service individuals cannot answer simple questions or maybe they aren't allowed to, I don't know but do not waste your money and time. They do not care about you they are just stealing your money, they need to be investigated, if normal people were behaving this way they put you in prison for fraud.

I don't have to write much because already nearly 600 people wrote elaborate reviews. Please stay away from this company.
