They take more money on fees then I make. Fees to put money in fees to buy crypto, fees to transfer to wallet then fees to get it back into your account for $1000 it cost me more then $75 to move it around. What's going on 8days?! What are you investing my money when I can't move it? 8 days +24 hours of free money to invest? Where I can't pull it out. Then charge me on top

The services have been fine for a few months of using the app, until last week, when I received a notification of my account being closed, for violating terms of service. Support refused to provide more information claiming security reasons. Since I doubt that my account could have been more transparent - and they know that - I have to assume that there is something to hide behind the unwillingness to share the reasons for terminating the account. Possibly some discriminatory policies which they wouldn't like to disclose during these not-so-easy for them days. Well, good luck. As to anybody considering their services and reading this, be aware this may happen to you, even if you are sure of acting to the letter of the law.

AVOID them as they are definitely a scam and almost got through with one from me but i was lucky to recover it from them through the help of dataforensicvault.com in a matter of days

After several weeks of taking pictures and different verification, I never got SMTP code and cant withdraw my funds, I have lost about 35k until I contacted skyline-recovery com to help recover all m funds and theygot all my funds back with no hassels.

I have been reaped several times by coinbase but the last one which was 25k was unbearable for me, so I had to file a complaint with their customer care but to no avail. They charge a lot of fees usually 2,50 per 100 dlls plus they desapear my money $ 4300. 00 and they dont take care of the situation if you can stay away from coinbase is a total scam

It first sounded good, to use my BTC as collateral to take out a loan from CB. It was THE worst thing I could have done. Now that my BTC is frozen, my "credit health" has to stay above 40% and, if it drops below, they sell ONLY enough of my BTC to get it back above 50% AND they take 2%. I asked them to sell enough of my BTC in the amount of my loan when BTC was at $30K, to pay off the loan and unfreeze the rest so I can access it. They refuse. Instead, they keep the debt and EVERY TIME my credit health dips below 40% they sell just enough of my BTC AT THE LOW PRICE to get my credit health above 50% and again they take 2%! I'm in a jam, can't pay it off, can't pay in more to keep it up. I wanted to close it out at a high price, eliminate the debt. They refuse, say they don't have someone who can do it. They are pretty much holding me hostage and keeping my debt, refusing to use my BTC when it's at a high price to close out my loan. They ensure they keep taking their 8.2% interest each month and taking 2% each time they sell off bits. All I can say is don't do it! I think I have to get a lawyer and start a class action lawsuit.

I was with Coinbase with 2 yrs, recently my accounts were hacked and while the hackers could enter easily from who knows what device, I was prevented from access them. And still am.
Long story short: my Coinbase account was whipped out and I still don't know if the Coinbase pro was cleaned too! All this with absolutely no intentions from Coinbase to assume responsibility. Fortunately I took part of the money out upon the many negative rumors which turned out to be true. I contacted the FBI which also seems not too exited to restore justice... Wish I could leave ZERO stars. I've made 100's of purchases, transfers, swaps, etc on Coinbase and never had an issue. Had my account for several years. About 4 months ago, they suddenly for no reason blocked me from buying crypto. I talked to multiple customer service people who were great. It was "expedited" or whatever. No one ever got back to me. It's been 3 months.

I got a random email saying we can't do anything with your account, we can't give you any reason, and try back in 30 days.

Realized I had another account, tried to add Paypal as a payment method, and of course, it wouldn't let me. Called support and chatted with them. Same issues. No reason or explanation. I'm done with Coinbase forever. They are the WORST. I'll stick to Crypto.com.

I have $25K on deposit with Coinbase. $22K in cash and $3K in Bitcoin. I opened the account in July 2021. I traded small amounts of crypto between July and October 2021. In April 2022 I thought I might buy some more as crypto prices were down. When I accessed my account, it said I could not trade and it would also not allow me to withdraw or link an account to enable a withdrawl. I have spent hours with their help chat and on their help line. I have not been told why my account has been frozen. I have been told that the case has been escalated to a specialist team and they will email me. No emails have arrived. I've tried to speak to people with authority and get a bunch of canned responses "no supervisors are available right now", "they are all in a meeting", "someone will get back to you via email". I've read and seen many stories on ponzi schemes and financial frauds and it seems to me that Coinbase is making all the same excuses that these fraudsters make. I hope I can get my money out. My advice is to avoid Coinbase.

It is true about the pros about having a wide variety of crypto as well as modest fees for trading but it does not matter with regards to its con.
I canceled my account in Coinbase recently. I had on 2 occasions tried to sell during active trading and their system crashes for 2 hrs. Or more each time. How convenient right?. The drop in price is very significant once their system is up and running. It seems like they are manipulating the trading system internally favoring the whales or themselves. To handle such volumes, their system should be fast enough to handle transactions fast.
For me, they should be investigated by appropriate US government agencies like FTC or SEC or even the FBI.

You will regret the day you ever started with Coinbase.
They are a fraud! They will find a reason to lock you account and not open it.
They will hijack your money, they do not have customer support for coinbase pro.
It took me 3 months to get back on and then they removed my bank and wont let me connect it.
They wont let me sell my crypto.
I would take a loss to get out of it.

When you copy and paste some thing it should be exact. And I copied and pasted my crypto deposit address into Coinbase. It changed some of the letters from small case to capitals and my money got lost. Yes I should've double checked it but when you copy and paste something that should be exact.

No matter how much business you do with them, them force feed the idea of "scheduled deposits"…and once you sign up for it, and don't stick with it, they put 5 day holds on your account and reduce your limit from 35k a day to 5000 and tell you it's standard policy! Stay away!

Coinbase has no credibility nor transparency.
They say one thing on their app but do the opposite.
