Have been back and forth with this f*ckup of a service for the last for months! Provided proof of addresss, residence, account statements, pay receipts, explanations re "wealth origin"
- all for $40 equivalent I have on the platform.

They can't organize a pissup at a brewery when it comes to releasing a block from the account.

Invasion of privacy, playing games that go no where and I lost more money than I can afford. They are just junkies crooked. Big name baloney I'm very upset, but never going back. No human to talk to and I am not reading piles and mazes of rules! Bye theives Coinbase bullies

Dear coin base thanks for stealing my Eth2 and lying to me saying it was frozen because I owed you money that I was never received what a joke you are as a trading plateform.

Coinbase is a portal to Hell, they regularly deny you access to your account and make you jump through all kinds of technological hurdles via phone, email, QR scans, text messages and make it impossible for you to make necessary trades causing me to lose all my money (thousands of dollars). Coinbase sucks so hard they threaten to create a black hole that will drag us all into oblivion! Worst experience i have ever had online.

Avoid this platform. No customer service and cannot talk to anyone with the authority to resolve the issue.

Linked my bank account as well as visa debit card with coinbase. Transferred cash into my coinbase account to purchase BTC
MY intention was to purchase bitcoin then send to the online casino I use. No problem buying bitcoin. Sending it another story
So I deleted then relinked everything. I did a second transfer thinking my problem solved. First transfer is still sitting there another 6 days
After the second transfer, no change. So I then sold the bitcoin had my balance in cash my account. I attempted to cash out permanently delete coinbase account
No such luck.
It's telling me 6 days. Good luck with trying to email support. Like typical corporate America you deal with AI related bull$#*! question After question. Rather than keeping things simple they intentionally complicate it
I'm done. 6 days I'll be PERMANENTLY deleting any all info related to coinbase

01/01/22 My CoinBase account was hacked and stripped all of my money & Holdings. I contacted CoinBase support. They said I was pretty much out of luck and to contact the police. I have a strong feeling CoinBase is on their way to bankruptcy. I sure I'm not alone with issue. You'd think with a publicly traded company it would a secure platform. I guess they really need the money. There will be a class-action lawsuit soon.

Numerous issues trying to even make my first purchase which NEVER happened. Can't even get my account number through the direct deposit tab (which is the only way to get it), because it's telling me that I submitted a direct deposit application through my employer (but can't because I am unemployed).

I then called their "customer service" who forwarded my request onto their "management" who got back in touch with me telling me to get with my employer to cancel the Direct deposit app. I responded back by letting them know YET AGAIN, that that's impossible for me to do so.

Not only have I NEVER filled out a direct deposit form to begin with from Coinbase, but I AM UNEMPLOYED AS WELL! How the hell, can I go to an HR department and cancel a direct deposit app, with a company that I DON'T HAVE A JOB AT TO BEGIN WITH?

All of this was included NUMEROUS times as well as a screenshot proving everything I just said. What did they then do? They responded back to me yet again, telling me to get back with my employer (who I don't have a job with and at a company that I do NOT work for) to cancel and/or check on a direct deposit form that was NEVER FILLED OUT OR SUBMITTED TO BEGIN WITH!

At this point, I am so glad I had these issues PRIOR to investing thousands of dollars of our hard earned money with them, because if they are truly this mentally $#*!ed BEFORE I GIVE them my money, then how incompetent would they be once they actually have it?

My phone and email was hacked by someone. They accessed my Coinbase account and changed the email address Fortunately i had google Authenticator and they could not acess my acoount for moving money. I locked my coinbase account. Coinbase seemed helpful at first reassuring me that my funds were safe. They required verification of who i was. I complied. After the third verification they said that i was good. They have never released my 250k funds. They don't answer emails anymore. They are thieves.

The Fees are ridiculous and they just don't pay out the rewards advertised. They advertise that some crypto you can get over 5% a year in rewards but they just flat out don't pay. Customer service is basically non existent. It took customer service two hours to tell me they couldn't help with the problem. Most of the time was spent "checking the issue". After leaving this message they suggest trying to contact customer service. Please save your time and money by choosing another service.

As everyone knows the amount of time you hold a dollar generates an interest specially in the trading world, coinbase places a hold for 6 days when you buy anything and they got a ridiculous transaction fee sell and purchase, if your plan is to make a dollar profit don't got with them because they will rip you off, therefore their company is going bankrupt soon. So everyone should take their money out from there and move it elsewhere, crypto.com do not hold your money like that, at the same time this action of holding/locking the money (meaning not being able to send it back to where it came from either) or else I would understand they preventing you to send it somewhere else but back to your bank where it came from? Really? I believe they should pay interest to every person for this actions.
Do not buy here, is the best advice I can give you, also when you buy crypto lets say you bought 4000 dollars worth of any crypto and you decide to send it out after their stupid hold (in this period of time you can definitely lose substantial amounts of money) they place you a tax form like saying they presume you still have the crypto and you have to pay taxes on the amount of money even if at the end of the day you no longer have 4000 because you decided to send it to trust wallet and you lost it per say, their tax form says you still have 4000 dollars worth of crypto and this they report legally, they explicity express in the tax form this, which can potentially lead to an IRS audit, so avoid issues and do not get involved with them, they are pretty shady plus they are going bankrupt for obvious reasons

Over two weeks ago, as a newbie I attempted to make a transaction to ICE. Unbeknownst to me that platform is blacklisted by coinbase.My account was frozen and restricted. After many hours of talking with Customer Service to resolve the issue, they repeatedly said that an email would arrive in 4-5 business days. That never happened. Last week I withdrew my finds as much as I could, but there is still a $10.00 balance, This morning I received an email with a single line, no explanation that "Your Coinbase account recovery request is cancelled." even trying to close the account has proved to be impossible so I just deleted the app from my phone. I work in financial security. There is NO WAY that this should have happened. This is a crew of reprobates and incompetents. Avoid this platform.

Friend of mine owed me money, he transferred 2k, I needed it to pay rent and phone bills. They put me on NO buys i cant transfer the money back now facing evictions they said it will take up to 90days till i can access the money. They are a fraud and should be put in jail. They will do this to the wrong person one day and he will snap if you know what i mean and it will be well desereved

I've been dealing with coin base trying to get my $200 they are holding from me and I've been trying for a year and a half now, all they care about is their checks they just want to send you an email an hang up they are no help at all, then they tell my they are going to cancel my account and not give me mommy money back, if anyone uses Coinbase you might want to pull all your assets out before they try an an keep yours also, like I said I have been trying for a year and a half to get my money or at least my account back, they are very rude and act unprofessional, they are just a scam if you ask me I would not use them I would use kyrpto.con rather then them Coinbase sucks it is the worst, I have a wove and 3 kids I need my $ but they don't even care about that either I would give them 0 starts

They are getting filthy rich the way the trading platform is designed. They are nowhere up to par as other cryptocurrency trading platforms are. Also, they can control your funds and hold them for days if you want to send to other exchanges. I do most of my trading with the " Big 3" exchanges and never, ever, had issues sending to other exchanges before. I just had an experience with them recently. They tell you all these excuses that you should read the fine print more carefully and they operate as all banks do about holding funds. I found it very funny that after talking to my banker about this that he said it's one way they can draw interest off your idle funds holding it even though we immediately clear all funds when it's transferred to the exchange. I do think Coinbase has seen a influx of people buying crypto and immediately transferring to other exchanges that it pisses them off. Look, it's not like they are making any money. Your hit with the highest fees in the industry and your charged with selling, trading, buying and even sending off to other exchanges so don't tell me they are not getting a big slice of the pie. If your a small trader and fees and fractions are not a issue then Coinbase may be for you. It is also one of the simplest and easiest trading platforms. Eventually, they will have to change the way they operate when it's a regulated industry or they will be eating crow for lunch.
