I am Very Pleased with my recent purchase of City Beauty Lip Gloss. It Plumps Just like it promises, and has a long-lasting beautiful shine for hours on end. The only thing I have a slight problem with is the stickiness, unfortunately it gets in my hair. Other than that it is an excellent Product. I bought the 3 pk and I'm sure I will be buying them again when I run out of my supply. My husband of 27 years complimented me on how pretty my Lips looked the Very first day I used my New Product. That certainly made My Day!

I have always had incredibly dry scaby lips. I saw the ad and thought I'd try City lips, just in case it would work. Well, work it did! I threw out tubes and containers of failed products! This stuff is the best! I am 69 and my lips have never, ever looked so good. I've even used prescribed emollients to no avail.
I am incredibly thankful that City Lips works just as the ad said it would. I have several tubes, even the matte works well. No more wasting money on other products.

I bought 1 sculpting cream and received the cream plus 3 boxes of a lip pump I do not recall ordering. I checked my bank account and had been charged an extra $87. I called City immediately and customer service was very nice and helpful. They emailed me a return form, which is simply a one page with their address and a blank space where you would write the item number, from your receipt, and include this paper in the box when you return it. They do not send you a pre-paid shipping label, you have to pay for shipping. I spent $11 on shipping via ups priority, but you can spend less with other shipping options. I agree with other buyers in this page, their tactic is horrible; when you are trying to check out you get a few popups and it is easy to click on something by mistake and add to your order, my mistake was to order by cell phone. I am wondering if I could have avoided it, if I had ordered on the computer. I honestly didn't see I had added anything at the end, I reviewed the order and did not see the extra $89. I was told I could open the unwanted lip product and try it, they return it for a full refund. I sent them back the unopened boxes instead. I thought it is a waste to open something so expensive and send it back! Buy the way, I have been using the sculpting cream for a week and do not see the difference. I am 60 and younger looking but have now fine lines over my upper lip, (not from smoking) but learned you can get those from drinking from a straw. And I drink smoothies. I will use it a little longer and see what result I get after a month. If this works will leave another review.

Do not pay directly with your credit card. Use PayPal or buy from Amazon. My credit card was compromised after making a purchase from City Beauty site. I usually only make online purchases through PayPal. But this purchase I made on a whim and used direct payment. What a big mistake! Days later, over $2000 charges on my bank account to companies located in LA. I live in Hawaii. Was only discovered when they tried making more purchases, which would make my account overdrawn. Took months to resolve it with my bank. But thieves got away with big purchases from Nike and Wish. Please review you bank and card statements after purchasing from this company and make sure everything looks legit. They are very sneaky by purchasing small first. Then they go in for the big bucks!

I could have written the exact same complaint "Beware of their upselling tactics". If the risk of ruining their reputation is worth $34.99, what does that say about them? Exactly feel the same way, it was switch and bait and very very misleading. WHY would I order one at full price then two more at a sales price. That was the choice I thought I had. Now I am told I have to take both packages to the post office the same day it was delivered - hello, I work, in order to get a full refund. The hassle is on me to correct for their misleading sales tactics. Too bad since their product is amazing. But I don't do business this way or appreciate being misled. Looks like it's been going on a while since I noticed Melinda R.'s complaint is from July of last year. Pathetic.
