Bank useless

The worst bank when you cannot log into your app they expect you to email them they are a white $#*! piece of $#*! bank do not do business with chime they have sand jigger talking g to you they are worthless as tots on a board hog you get no place with them they speak no good english

Fraud

Someone removed $ out my chime acct. And chime said that it was not fraud. How in the world...? Closed this acct. Not having my direct deposit stolen for them to tell me this CRAP.

I will get straight to it. I didnt have any issues with chime until I noticed 2 unauthorized charges on my account totalling $53. One was declined due to low funds thank God so the other for $22 was disputed and I called on a Saturday and they said it would take 10 business days to investigate. In less than 48 hours they had determined that no error was made. There were two options: Get the report they used to investigate or to reopen the dispute up again in which that would take 45 days to respond which is insane. I chose both. These people did no investigating what so ever and they did nothing to help in getting my money back. This company has a pattern of complaints on BBB and a history of stealing people money in the thousands. Do not do business with this company unless you want to take a huge risk.

I like the app but who tf does updates at dinner time. Makes no sense at all, do that while folks are sleeping. Not while it's dinner time, no atm but can add money that you can't use. No time stamp or anything. I like chime but yo it's the middle of day time. That's so stupid, now I'm looking to go somewhere else and bank just for that stupid reason. Don't update mid day, that's business dumb to me

I paid full price then got 35% off of that but my understanding was when I pulled all the dresses up they had a sale price so I thought wow! I was going to get 35% off of sale items. What a great offer but not. My pics will show sale item and regular price crossed out

Avoid Chime if you are a woman.

My roommate and I had our wallets stolen. I called within one hour of realizing this, when our cards were charged at a random Walmart. I have a police report, I called them immediately, got a new card... did everything I was supposed to- and they won't help. However, my roommate just disputed the transaction through the app without an explanation or police report, without any proof whatsoever, and they were helped.

What's the difference between us? My name shows that I'm female.

I had literal law enforcement involved and I've fought to reopen the dispute with them 3 times. All three times, it was denied immediately without an investigation- something they are legally required to do.

I had several hundred dollars stolen from my account within an hour. But I'm a woman- so no matter what I have, they won't help.

I used my chime to make a truck payment. On 4/1/22 the money was taken off my account. On the 3rd the bill was paid. Instead of completing the transaction that I did on the first of April. They left it pending. Now it has put me in the hole. I did what it says about calling the merchant. According to the merchant. They billed my account once, and according to chime there is nothing they can do. For 7 days...

Awful customer service

My experience with Chime has been absolutely terrible. I opened an account in January and made an initial deposit of funds. However, when I attempted to log in a couple of days later, I was locked out of my account. When I emailed customer service, they asked me to send them scans of various documents to confirm my identity, such as bills, with scans of envelopes showing my home address. When I repeatedly explained in about 15 email exchanges that I don't receive hard copies of any bills or financial documents, I was eventually ghosted, after I never received a single substance of response actually addressing what I was telling them. Therefore, I sent an email asking to close my account, but nothing has been done after about about 5 more email exchanges, and eventually they ghosted me on this issue as well. My account is still not closed, and they still have my funds. This is outrageous. Do not do business with this company. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and an era when customer service is typically awful.

Mixed reports in if you can use your credit card for rental car transactions.
Doesn't allow changes to mobile pin.

BEWARE!

CHIME is a JOKE! DO NOT have any affiliations with this scam. First off I applied for the card, They sent my card with my name spelled, a way I didn't even put on my app. Then when I try to activate it they tell me that my account is suspended and I have to send my ID thru email to the online support. I was very skeptical bc this was a true set up on their part. Then I decided to reach out to the email support a person emails me and says their name is "Red" I was like WTH is this? Am I being punked!? This is why I was skeptical about sending them my info. I politely told "Red" no thanks I will find another card company. Then the instructions said for me to put my name and date on a paper and place my ID on that same paper and take a picture blah blah. I said these folks have lost their mind! DO NOT, DO NOT go with CHIME! All these star reviews is a lie! I almost believed the 5 star reviews myself! DO NOT DO IT!

Thought they would be a better alternative to PayPal... Found that they are more on the level of Cash app. They say they can't reverse a transaction that I sent to a friend BUT friend is LOCKED OUT of the account! The reality is NOT that they can't, they WON'T! One is better off depositing one's money in their mattress. At least you can get it out!

Disputes

Horrible in resolving disputes…. Waiting on a resolution for almost 4 months and still waiting. Pray to God you don't have to summit a dispute because you probably wont see the resolution. Your money and my money aren't safe with chime.
