Long story short I have decided to investigate Chime from all the mysterious money coming and leaving account, they do not return refunds and lie as if its processed …. You messed with the wrong $#*! lol
Warning people! Still way these monkeys a scam there is no customer service they can hold you close the account with no notification there is no any provisional a professional! Don't deposit one penny there is also pending many lawsuit and also class action against them
I've never seen so many 4 and 5 star FAKE reviews in my life! Both here AND on other sites! Absolute garbage! Every person I've chatted with online, or people I know have tried Chime and almost ALL have experienced the same problems I've experienced! First off, the people who respond to your live chat or email are in a foreign country! Second, they DO NOT understand the English language very well! HUGE language barrier! Third, Chime's own employees don't even know, let alone comprehend the legal language inside THEIR OWN CARDMEMBER AGREEMENT?!?! ( YOU HAD ONE JOB) They are extremely lazy and completely incompetent! Everything you see and hear is a LIE so that you'll give them your money! Once they have your money, you're screwed! Use your mattress not these idiots!
If you have this card. BEWARE! If u dispute a charge they will send you an email saying they deposited the monies back into your account, as they promised me. Yet, going on 2 weeks there is no refund in my account. And when I inquire, they tell me the dispute processed. It is ridiculous! No help, no support... so if you want to feel protected with your bank... DO NOT CHOOSE CHIME.
I had an account with Chime, and had direct deposit from my employer, going to my account. I was working alot of OT at the time. I got my paycheck DD one day, and hours later my account was drained. It's almost like they KNEW I got paid that day bc they were keeping track of my account. Anyhow, my entire check was taken out at an ATM in Illinois while I was at work. I made a claim and was promised it would b taken care of with no issues, bc it was obviously fraud. The day after I made the claim, I received a denial of my claim. I never even had a chance to send in my forms or paperwork! They automatically denied it. I fought it, fought it, fought it. So, what did Chime do? They closed out my account and savings for no reason! I still have not received a penny from them, and they do not care AT ALL that they screwed me over. This is a horrid bank and company, and I highly recommend STAYING AWAY FROM CHIME AT ALL COSTS! After all of this, I did some research online, and it turns out they've pulled this kind of crap on ALOT of other people as well. Numerous others have had almost an identical situation to mine. And NONE were covered. All were denied their claims, and many also had their accounts closed when they tried to have the situation dealt with. BEWARE OF CHIME! STAY AWAY FROM CHIME!
Chime is an alternative banking option one can get as opposed to traditional banking such as Wells Fargo. The qualifications for Chime Bank seem really chill. Meaning, almost anyone can obtain one. A few restrictions do apply. The bank account itself is displayed through the Chime app. One can open a checking and/or savings account with Chime. There are no fees ever. One can add funds to his or her account by direct deposit, money transfers, and loading green dot cards. Chime does not support cash atm deposits. This is a huge problem. Customer service is friendly and effective. There is no money required to open an account. No minimum one must have in the account at all times.
Answer: Yep! Same here. My entire paycheck was drained, then I filed a dispute and they closed it within hours, denying me of course. Next they decided to close my account out of nowhere, I'm sure bc I wouldn't stop trying to get my money back. I'll be taking this to a lawyer.
