I used them my first semester - the prices were a bit higher than other sites but I had heard good things about them. I got my books pretty fast but 2 of the books I ordered were missing- it took a few days to get it resolved and eventually the books arrived but it was already 2 weeks into classes at that point.

I used this site once and it worked out fine. It's definitely worth it since you'll be saving loads of $$$ from actually purchasing the textbooks (some can be SO expensive)!

Customer Service on this site is absolutely amazing. I literally love being respected over the phone and given all the care plus extra I didn't even think I would get. I saved much money on my college textbooks, half in one case this semester, and my order was shipped within a couple of days, in time for class. I know, from previous experience that if I have an issue, I can get it resolved in no time by one phone call to this wonderful company.

To be fair, I've only just started using this site... and only for my Vector Calculus class... that being said, it has the textbook we use and solutions to the odd problems for free. For a small fee ($5 a month), you can join and get access to the even problems as well.

For me - this is a life-saver! Our prof only assigns problems from this text, and having the solutions is obviously helpful. It doesn't show each step, but gives you the start and end point, which means you know how to get started and where you should end up.

I'd recommend this to anyone... you can search the texts in it's library before joining, so you know if it'll have your textbook!

Great site for text book rentals. They ship on time and make returns a breeze. Renting from Chegg is so much easier than buying and trying to resell.

Chegg has some of the cheapest rental prices. They may not always be the cheapest, but they have GREAT customer service and you can always trust them to be on-time with your shipment. I have saved a lot of money over my school bookstore with this website.

Great site where you can get cheap books used and for rent. Someday everyone can have their books on a kindle or ipad but until then I do not want to waste money on buying expensive text books. Great site for those of us who cannot afford expensive books.

I just started college at a really expensive school and I needed 6 books for my upcoming semester and my money surely isn't unlimited. One book at my campus bookstore was $176 and they don't carry used books right now. The first thing I saw was an ad for rental textbooks for Chegg so I went to check it out, I typed in the ISBN, registered, and ordered 4 books for $218 and just waited so I can get the shipping for overnight because I needed the books quickly.

The option of shipping doesn't show up they pick it for you and its regular shipping so three to seven days. They expected for my books to arrive seven days after I ordered them but they came in three different packages with three days so I was satisfied.

Chegg rents used and sometimes new books so I the four books I got were in pretty good condition. I'd order from them again.

My books have always come in time- once a book I ordered was back-ordered therfore they ordered one for me on amazon.com. And if you keep the box they sent you, it is FREE (with really simple directions) to ship the books backs to Chegg.

Chegg also gives you a week after the quarter/semester is over to return them- definitely beats long lines at the bookstore during an already stressful finals week.
