I had The worst experience I have ever heard with any banks. Chase is not loyal to the customers. On the other they will illegally freeze your account and then give the money in your account to a third-party without your consent that was the worst I ever had and then I found out what they was illegal. They don't care about the consumers that's why I would never ever used their services

Chase Bank DOESN'T CARE
December 2, 2020

Chase Bank doesn't care about their customers during the pandemic! Debit cards still have to be swiped inside stores a minimum number of times per month AND THEY DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE HIGH RISK and can't go inside stores. Floridians aren't all masking up so you either need to risk your life or pay them the monthly checking fees. They just want your money and don't really care about their customers. Before Covid I had no complaints with them. They have kept the branch and ATM close to home closed most of this year and they don't count ATM transactions as a debit card swipe. I wish they could be more human and make more ethical decisions with modifications during the pandemic. Haven't we all had to adapt? Chase has only for themselves and are greedy! They said I could avoid fees by putting $5000 in the basic checking account though.

Parting Ways
November 11, 2020

I am a retired employee of Chase, I receive a monthly pension from Chase, I have an 820+ credit score, and I am a Sapphire reserve credit card holder. Recently opened (online) Chase Premier Plus Checking. The following day I received a notification that this new account was closed and my online access was locked. Telephoned and was told my account was closed and Chase did not want me as a client and all my accounts would be closed. I asked why this would be and was told..."we don't have to provide a reason... Chase does not want your business." Needless to say I was shocked but not surprised since increasingly their service quality has significantly deteriorated... they constantly send me messages about increasing my credit line along with special offers for "valued clients" all obviously a joke.

Chase Is Heartless!
November 5, 2020

My husband deposited a large sum of money in a Chase ATM. He deposited cash and the ATM gave him an error message and did not reflect the deposit. He called the Chase claims department and they told us would get our deposit in 12 hours. After 12 hours we saw no deposit. So I called back. I was told that we would have to wait up to 2 business days. I called back again, and I was told we have to wait 10 business days... My family can't wait that long. We have bills, we have rent, we need food. 10 days is ridiculous! I asked to speak to a manager. After waiting in hold for an hour the manager, coldly, told me there was nothing she could do for us, and we have to wait. I asked to speak to someone higher. She refused to escalate my call. We have 4 accounts with Chase. We make regular deposits. After this error we will be switching to another bank. My family has to suffer because of Chases mistake. I used to recommend Chase to friends, family, and anyone who would listen. NEVER AGAIN!

So after screwed up money transfer (I called them ahead to and transferred money to my own another account), after blocking the credit card for uber leaving me stranded... They just really are dedicated to destroy its customer - I can't use the named credit card for uber - so I used my debit card... Hurray was short lived - only few days. Chase blocked the uber payment of 19$, send txt msg - which I instantly answered - that yes I am paying uber the 19$.
Chase regardless... blocked the payment reliable on the ground of "fraud suspicion" ‍

Really regretting being unfortunate customer. Counting days i can close everything and open elsewhere

They kept locking my chase online. It took over two hours each time to get a customer rep on the phone. How can this be possible? Why is chase customer service so terrible?

Chase is a big bank and they always attract customer with all these unbelievable incentives, but they don't get ** done. I am selling my home and my buyers are using chase thinking chase is a big bank, good rate etc. So 31 days into escrow, they still couldn't get the loan approval. All they tell us is they will get it done tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow. As a seller, I am purchasing another home which has been waiting for the fund from my old home to new home. Fees and fine from the delay were kicking it since chase has delayed the buyer's loan and we ended up paying tons of fee. They originally promised 15 days but they were so far off from the deadline. I will never go with chase or recommending anyone to go chase. This was one of the most frustrated experiences I have in my life so far.

Just received my notice for my adjustable rate. Was expecting a slight reduction. Wrong. Exactly the same as last year. When I called Chase asking why, since all interest rates a lower this year, I was told mine is based on the LIBOR index.and it had not lowered. That was a lie. I checked the rates online and all LIBOR rates are lower than last year. All by at least 1 point. I will get out from under this loan as quickly as I can and never again do business with Chase. If you are going to screw me, kiss me first.

I never knew that a bank has the right to withhold funds from a check deposited into an account. Recently, I deposited a rather large dollar amount check from an investment account into my Chase savings account. I discovered that Chase put a hold on the funds for seven business days. I checked with the investment company and found that the funds were transferred on the date of my deposit. I spoke with Chase bank representatives, both in person, via secure online messages, and via telephone. Even though I provided proof of the transfer, not one person could provide a reason for the bank holding the funds. I've been a Chase customer for more than twenty years. Because of the above, I will be moving my business to another bank.

Horrible Customer Service
December 26, 2019

The Chase bank on Barksdale Blvd in Bossier City, La has the worst customer service. Two out of the last 3 times I have been to that branch, I had to wait over a hour to see a customer service rep. Today, I went in for a medallion stamp, which is just a novelization on a financial document, verifying that I am the signature. I have an account and to forms of ID, they wanted a statement from the account. They said it is bank policy that I must have a statement. Te only thing they are verifying is that it is a genuine signature of mine. Do not bank with Chase. I was a stockholder for years. Thank Hod I sold the stock because with customer service like this, the business will be going down the tubes.

I left Chase years ago because of terrible business practices. And I recently made another mistake -
I signed up for the new amazon card to save $50 on an order. Well, that worked, but I then was left with minimal information on what to do next. There was never any email confirmation follow up.
I tried to log into the chase website but YOU NEED A FREAKIN CARD NUMBER TO SIGN UP/IN WITH. Which took forever to get to me physically via snail mail... Long enough that by the time I had actually received the card and logged in, I had been charged a late fee (charged $28 and it also affects your credit) and interest on a purchase I had made 2 days prior.

I don't understand why anyone would every bank with this company, let alone leave a positive review.

Because Chase has a policy to withhold funds up to the longest time allowable by (45 days) law, my car was repossessed.
I was a victim of identity theft and fraud.
When I discovered what was happening and called my bank and warned them about it and told them that I had not submitted the claim and to stop it because I I had not requested it nor authorized anyone to so.
They did try to stop it, but the crooks had already cleaned out my account to the tune of $1170. 30. This is the amount of the claims filed for my last three car payments.
Chase charged me the $1170. 30 causing an over draft. When my social security disability benifits check was direct deposited into my account, Chase took the money out. The problem is that they wouldn't release the funds to pay for the money the thieves took to the finance company. I made two visits to my branch and spoke to the manager and she said that there was nothing she could do.
I got up on the morning of the 9th and the finance company had already repossessed my car. I spent more than three hours on the phone before I could find out that Chase still had the money. When, after three hours, I was finally told that Chase was going to hang on to the money for the full amount of time that the law allows, 45 days. Even after I told them that my car had been repossessed because they hadn't released the money. When I asked why, I was told
"Because they can" and when I asked what they intended to do about it, "sorry" was all I got. So I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
( yes, they are a real government agency)
One of the things that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau does when they get a complaint is to send it to the company concerned and see if they respond.
Today's date is October 30,2019, last Thursday afternoon I got a call from them and they said they will investigate and get back to me. It's been almost a week and and I haven't heard from them yet.
All through this ordeal I have gotten responses ranging from " because we can " to " I don't care ". Just a word of caution, be careful, remember " because they can " and " they don't care ".

Amazon gave me the worst 20% apr high interest credit card. They don't lower my apr and hit my credit with hard inquiry. I closed the account. I paid account balance in full. The company is charging me high interest. Reps are clueless.

When paying whole balance, there shouldn't be no interest period. I payoff full balance on other credit cards companies and never had any interest. Chase is getting worst by overcharging on interest.

I always use a VPN to protect my data while accessing the Chase.com website over public WiFi access points. Using the VPN resulted in Chase's security rules getting triggered and my checking and savings accounts being closed. Apparently, my IP address changed to often for them and they flagged the account.

I received NO PRIOR EMAILS OR Phone call from the chase Fraud department, they just closed my accounts.

So, if you are smart enough to protect you banking transaction by using a VPN Encrypted connection, be warned that it may result in all you accounts being automatically closed.

Worst experience I have ever had.
