Ordered a Xerox toner cartridge, May 16 (#1CGT618), received a week later, installed it in my Xerox WorkCentre, cartridge is only 12% full! They sent me an old, spent cartridge. I called Xerox support, was very hard to get someone who understands what I am talking about, supposedly they re-ordered, and that was 3 weeks ago, nothing arrive, not even an email confirmation. Lost $110! They are incompetent.
Orders placed on nov 1st. Now it's already Feb 12, still haven't received orders. Just a laptop and a computer screen which were not even listed as back orders. When asked why the delay, lots of excuses and no estimated date for delivery. Horrible
CDW is an evil company. They said our order was fraudulent when it was legitimate. They still haven't refunded the money.
Waited over 2 months for a in stock order that went to backorder,,no help or sales team,,never did get a arrival date,,and they dodge your calls.anyone else would be a better choice even if u have to pay extra,,but u wont cause they try and price gudge at the end anyway.
I supposedly have already received my order. Cdw already took the fund from me. The items have not been processed yet.
I called them and they told everything is ready and the items are in stock. I feel hopeless.
I worked here shortly in between much better stints, and all I can say is that CDW's "leadership" shouldn't allowed to run a lemonade stand, let alone a $25B business.
Buying Sirius only made matters worse.
All but two members of the senior leadership team have double-digit IQs and are only there because they are either qualified minorities and/or they are CDW lifers.
This is a company run by morons.
I purchased a printer and ink cartridge. The picture of the printer did not match what I received. The picture had 2 paper trays. I got a printer with 1 paper tray. Something was wrong with the setting of the paper, so every time I had to print I had to select a paper size. The ink cartridge was not the right cartridge for that printer. Because it was defective with clicking the paper size and the wrong ink I had to return everything through UPS. I wanted a replacement but the company said I have to return, get my money back, and purchase again. I will just purchase from somewhere else.
On chat support hold for 3 hours and then they closed the chat! This is all because of an order that they would not leave for me at my door and gave zero communication that I needed to be there for the order. It was a simple A/V cord that I purchased from them, not a very expensive product that needs protection.
Mr. Witherspoon (Sales Manager),
I can't recall such ineptness from a company and either gross oversight or just plain incompetence from a "sales" employee, Andrew Collins. Talk about blaming it on the consumer! I've attached a copy of the initial interaction in addition to chat #******* which referenced the correct serial number. CDW NEVER HAD AN INCORRECT SERIAL NUMBER!
Below, March 10 you will notice the CORRECT SERIAL NUMBER was exchanged with Mr. Collins as well as chat text ******* where the CORRECT SERIAL NUMBER was exchanged at 1:09:46 PM.
It's bad enough that the employee doesn't even know what he's selling, identified on line 1:00:24pm of that same chat conversation, but to blame it on the customer is just BAD BUSINESS! Additionally, it took 18 days for CDW Sales to figure this out - making me miss nearly three (3) weeks of a valid warranty service.
This will be posted in CDW reviews including BBB.
Regards,

Subject: RE: Invalid Serial Number - Order #: XXXXXXX- XXXXXXXX
Hi Teresa,
Thank you for responding and letting us know that you do not have the receipt. Per Lenovo the device you have is a consumer grade model, something that typically is purchased at say a Walmart, Target, Best Buy, whereas the devices CDW sells are business class/grade models. The warranty you selected from CDW's site is for business grade devices and not eligible for your consumer grade unit. This was not found out until you provided the screenshot of the correct serial number on the device. As we can only go off of information you have provided, once CDW had the proper information from you we worked with Lenovo to see about the possible coverage options for your device. Lenovo came back with that if you could provide your receipt they may be able to extend some coverage options, however, since the device is so far out of date of warranty there are limited options going forward. Here are the available options, please let us know if you would like to proceed with the option through CDW, or if you would prefer to go direct through Lenovo where you will be able to obtain additional consumer level support (versus the limited business level support Lenovo offers to CDW to provide to you as a consumer).
I was looking for a specific power cord and found one on CDW with the PSW number. No photo to confirm and no description. I ordered and received a two pronged figure 8 cord within 2 brown envelopes. I needed a barrel power cable. Because I only shipped back the inner envelope and invoice I didn't return the outer envelope. Avoid at all costs. Seems like a terrible policy and a way to avoid reimbursing customers. I would understand if this was necessary packaging for the product but this is a standard shipping envelope.
I will never try to buy something from cdw again. They jerk you around and require large purchases to be paid for by wire transfer. What year are we living in?
So, after waiting for 3+ hours on their HORRIBLE CHAT, they say, here look at UPS Tracking number.
So, look at ups tracking number and info. Delivery address is correct, but status shows being returned to SENDER.
It's impossible to talk to a real person.
What a piece of manure.
I cannot say how much I cant STAND this company! Service is horrible and rude, sales team does not get back with you, you basically have to Beg them to sell you something, And good luck trying to return a defective product. IF you can manage to get some help from them you'll take an entire bottle of blood pressure medication just to keep your head from exploding. Im an Allstate agent and we are allowed to buy our office equipment from any source we choose. However if we do not purchase it through CDW then Allstate's tech support will not provide you any assistance for that equipment if needed. After such horrible service I rather purchase the required equipment through another source and forfeit the free tech support and discount I get, just to not have to deal with or spend another dime with CDW.
DO NOT use CDW for your professional or personal use. 2 out of three products I ordered did not work, and these were not cheap. Overall very bad experience.
I purchased a WordPerfect suite from CDW. I got a confirmation e-mail regarding the purchase, and also received an email that purported to be from Corel, WordPerfect's manufacturer. That email had an attachment, which I assumed was the link to the program download. It wasn't.
When I complained that I hadn't received my purchase, I was told that the problem must be on the Corel end.
The Corel agent I spoke to had no idea what CDW was, didn't recognize the Corel "order number" in the email, and couldn't help me with the problem.
In short, STEER CLEAR OF CDW.
You've been warned!
We have had NO functioning business security software for TWO months. We were supposed to get an upgrade, but Kyle the salesperson is always saying he will get to it, he is in a meeting, needs more time, etc. If you sign up with CDW you are putting your data and your business at risk. I am getting endless popups saying I have no functioning software and I'm done waiting on these fools. Security in these times is essential.
Twice now I have tried to purchase computer equipment from CDW that they claimed was in stock, and twice now they have in fact NOT had it in stock.
The first time they kept me hanging on stating that the printer would be in "next week" for about a month before I cancelled that order and just bought the printer somewhere else.
I know that the company I work for has used them often in the past for software purchases without any issues, but it appears to me that hardware sales is not their forte.
Call numerous times to sales about purchasing computers for our company, no one picked up.
Went to online chat, I was told to contact sales...
We took our business elsewhere.
The chat functions from this site is horrible. One agent after another transfer me through chat for asking a simple question on a product. Wanted a quote for server and the licenses, waited 2 hours for an agent, then they ghosted me. No response and disconnects. This happens many times. My company wanted to spend more than 10k on software and this is what we get? NO THANKS. We will bring our business some where else. Terrible. Can't think if we purchased and have after support question would be like. If we can give less than 1 star we would. Crappy company.
Just needed to renew our Adobe subscription but getting no response from our sales rep who is in charge of the account. It's been over a week and we are still unable to use any of our Adobe software at our facility. I've left multiple emails and voice messages and still no response or action. I'm very frustrated. Next time I will make the purchase directly with Adobe.
Answer: Scam company, they will collect your data. Then after some time claim that the product is discontinued.
Answer: It is a fortune 500 company. This is why I chose to buy from them. The company I worked for also buy from them. But they are pretty bad in customer service
