Appreciate the honesty and clear instructions/directions. First time we ordered a product, we knew it was going on a backorder, we still chose to order and wait. They gave us constant updates on the order and when the item was discontinued they got in touch and gave us the refund straight away.

Friendly staff during pickup orders. A little long from me but i still choose to pick up from Bankstown.
Price at times are favourable too. Keep it up with the effort.

Great products, in stock, and nice shops.

It fell down at the last hurdle though: I purchased 2x expensive hard disks ($2,618), and was handed them without any packaging to take them home securely - not even a bag. Just given the 2x drives loose.

I asked for some packaging / protection and was offered a mis sized thin cardboard box, which was of no protection to them. I'd have thought a technology business would have an abundance of spare packaging.

More concerned with this experience, during order specified leaves warehouse on or before 2-4 days, once paid note says leaves 16th Feb which is 7 days, not happy about that! Could get from Amazon tomorrow for few dollars more!

Order placed on 6 January with a delivery date of 5-7 business days. Today is 27 January and still have not received my order. I understand there was an attempted delivery on 15 January, after which I have attempted to get it redelivered multiple times, lied to by the delivery team promising it will be delivered the following day, multiple times only to find out it was never marked for redelivery. Not acceptable.

"Products that are in stock are normally dispatched within 1-3 business days. Products that are built-to-order, like our Custom Built Computers normally take 5-7 business days unless you have selected a priority service option."

We live in an age of Amazon, and while I understand other retailers don't have the capacity to deliver things as quickly, this could be addressed by regular updates on delivery times, particularly if an item has not been shipped by say 3, 5, 8 business days. The order took just under 2 weeks to be delivered which is not really okay when items are marked as in stock.

Not allowing your customers refunds is disgraceful. You take their money, but you won't return it when appropriate, only offer them store credit, which results in (a) you still getting their money, and (b) them buying products they don't need just to use the store credit. Tight-$#*! bastards running the show there.

I know a little bit about computers (a little) but that's more than for a lot of women my age. I try not to be too confusing when I order stuff, but of course I stuff up a lot. This often means guys assume I'm a total idiot, or know more than I do, neither of which is true. :) I'm just someone who finds computers and computing incredibly interesting. Anyway, thank you for the help, and not treating me like a total idiot.

Beware of their terrible Return Policy!

As a lot of people have mentioned, as soon as you've opened the package, you lose 25% if you try to return it!

If you insist on buying from JW Computers, make sure you've actually used the product before and like it, otherwise you're gonna lose a chunk of money if the product doesn't meet your expectations and you try to return it. Don't make the same mistake I did! Plus you only have 7 days to return stuff.

I bought BenQ Screenbar Halo 2 for $269 (yes I know it is expensive but I wanted the very best for my home office setup) and was feeling lightheaded and dizzy from the lighting so I tried to return the product after a week. I lodged an online form and was promptly rejected by the online team without any reasoning, which is ridiculous so I went into the store. There I was told my return is still a change of mind (although the product clearly didn't meet my expectation and was causing health issues) and I have to cop $70 restocking fee! Yet the product as well as the packaging were still perfectly in tact too, perfect condition. What an incredibly predatory policy and process. Their prices may be competitive but after my experience, I believe it's worth paying a little bit more for peace of mind when returning things.

Good customer service in the store though, the guys were genuinely trying to be helpful. Still, not recommended!

We bought our daughter's gaming chair and it is totally awesome. We are so happy with the quality and styling. Our daughter is beyond happy. Delivery was quick and safe.
