Scumbags

Ordered a product 2 weeks later they sent an email stating the item was disconnected and would refund me. I ordered the item dec 7th and there "disconnected" message was on the 20th I responded stating that but never got a reply from Tyler wolf "Executive account manager"

Quite Unimpressive

I thought CDW was a trustworthy online merchant that could really execute, until my most recent order. I ordered a new laptop to be a birthday present, two weeks before it was needed. The site indicated that the laptop was in stock and would be delivered in about 3 days. Well, nine days later they send me a backorder notification. But here's the kicker: the site still showed the laptop as in-stock and delivery in 3 days. So I fired off an email; there was never an answer, but shortly afterward I got a shipment notification. If I hadn't fired off the email, I'd probably still be waiting. Poor execution!

So slow, so incompetent. They ship technology but the technology they have doesnt ship. If you are looking for an easy experience then dont go with CDW. Avoid at all costs.

Expensive

Compared prices with other retail stores or trustable web sites and are almost always up to 20% more expensive. Will not longer waste my time browsing their products

Absolute Joke

First of all I am aware of the semi-conductor shortage. Therefore, new GPU's and cpus's have been limited. However, I backordered an RTX 3080 for over MSRP price ($1200) from CDW. Said it would take a month to get it. Understandable given the current circumstances. A month goes by, they tell me another month, after that they tell me another month. 6 months go by, so I start to dig into who their vendor is. I found out the company inventory worker who work at CDW. So I got their vendor supplier name and card them myself and was able to purchase an RTX 3080 without having to use the middle man and a marked up price (CDW). DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS. EVER.

CDW is a chop shop

Purchased a new HP Z2 G5 PC. None of the USB ports work. Operating system was missing. Worst company ever. This company is like a chop shop. They sell off brand computers and like a chop shop, mix and matches parts that don't even go with the computer. We really need to bankrupt this company.

I call CDW sales to inquire about if they sale Norton Antivirus licenses and the salesman I talk too was very rude and totally unprofessional. The salesman name was Frank and it felt like he just not interested in the sale and unfriendly. He made me stop and end the call.

Worst place to buy a product

When you're dissatisfied with a product you purchase from them after opening due to a defect, they won't accept any return or exchange. They also take a long time to response. Worst shopping experience ever

Worst company

I ordered an iPad that was supposed to ship a week later. On the expected delivery day they send me an email saying that it is backordered and have to wait 2 months. Worst customer service ever!

I based on the their product information and availability on their website and I placed the order online, however, the order wasn't shipped on time and no one knew the estimated shipping time after 6 business days. Their customer service couldn't help me and just left the chat because he just transferred me to another queue while I was still typing my 2nd question. I waited over almost one hour but still no one appeared to help me. The Chat Room system said I was the next in queue, but no one showed up to help... Wasted my 60 mins and I had no other option but to leave the Chat Room. I also emailed to 3 different people to get SALES TAX REFUND and to set up a reseller account, but I receive no responses at all for all 6 business days. I wonder if they have any staff working there or they're just having party all day long. This is the worst buying experience... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Their service is totally unacceptable!

I placed an order for an item that their site claimed was in-stock and would ship the following day.

Three business days later, I called to ask where it was; they promised to call me back.

The next day, having no further contact from them, I called to cancel the order. They took the information and promised a confirmation the following day.

The following day, UPS contacted me to let me know of a package that had been shipped -- hours after I cancelled the order. Have been unable to get through to CDW to deal with this, but after UPS let me know about the shipment, CDW sent an notification that they had shipped the order.

If you do make the mistake of ordering something through them, it seems like the best way to get them to ship it is to cancel the order; it will then ship that evening.

I expect to deal with this transaction by refusing the shipment and filing a chargeback against them, based upon how responsive they have been so far. Making the mistake of dealing with them is likely to cost me many hours of annoyance.

Oh, and despite saying I did not want to be on their marketing list, I'm somehow on their spam list, and they are not even CAN-SPAM compliant because the unsubscribe page does not work; it just sits there. Yet another worthless thin e-tail company (no inventory, no control, no service, no responsibility, infinite marketing -- no value add whatsoever).

Third request, it's back ordered. Now attempting to cancel the order. Will not use this company again!

They charged me about $1,000 for an item that showed in-stock. When I checked days later, it showed as back-ordered with no estimated ship date. I waited for half an hour to chat with a representative, asked to cancel my order, and the representative was terse and robotic. With all the other options available on the internet, don't waste your time with this company.

Ordered TV brackets from CDW, did not receive any shipping information for a few days. Send them an email, and within 30 minutes, I received a tracking number and email saying "your order has shipped." Checked the tracking number... NOPE! Item hasn't shipped, just a label created. There's a difference... this is just a ploy to make you THINK they are legit. Chatted online twice with an overseas service with a couldn't-care-less attitude. Emailed and left a voicemail for the Sales Rep, Jennifer Warnick. Still haven't heard a peep from her to this day. Someone FINALLY emailed me after sending multiple complaint emails to any address I could find on their webpage. They claimed order was "stuck with UPS" and a refund was issued. They said "we could absolutely place a new order for you, but I do want to make you aware that we don't have stock and this item is on backorder." Basically they never had the item in the first place. And yet, if I go to their website now, I can place an order for this item to ship within 5 days. It's all a lie. Please save yourself time and a headache and avoid this place.

The absolute worst service ever and I'm actually shocked that a company like this can still remain in business. As many have mentioned before, they do sell items that are on backorder as if they're in stock. Backorders are typically fine but they're charging 20% more than retail, and usually a store will let you know if its on backorder, these clowns do not let you know.

Beyond that, I have emailed them and they haven't responded in over a week.

Avoid these guys, they're borderline scammers.

Cancelled order, lied about "being flagged for potential fraud", didn't bother emailing or calling. Ancient order status check syatem on top of it, it never knows you have one.

Placed an order for a computer, weeks went buy with no reply. Then after contacting them via phone, they put through a credit card payment and claimed it would go out in two business days. Another week went buy, no tracking number or anything. Finally I asked again, they said order was in and would be shipped. Then after four more days I got an email claiming the machine was discontinued. Wasted my time and now I have to make sure my credit card is not charged. I believe these guys are just a front to scam you of your credit card info. Be aware!
